I adore Dennis Miller. He is Andrew Breitbart. He lives in the belly of the Hollywooden beast in the toney hills of Montecito (Santa Barbara) yet has kept his head on straight as a logical, conservative thinker. The dull partisan soldier masquerading as a reporter isn’t the story. The story is their fear and loathing of a true grass roots movement against the institutional left. The institutional left is working to swell the underclass to build dependence on a politically secure state that can grow and thrive on ruling over its serfs. The destination is a society where the 1% rule over the 99% in declining prosperity which is the total opposite of what their leaders claim as their goal. Case in point, Bernie Sanders is leading the Dems for their presidential nomination.
I liked the comment that if she was any more vacant, she’d be a vacation condo in Bismarck.
I have been wondering lately about those oft repeated phrases…”the Dems and their media sychophants” or “the Canadian bought and paid for media.”
There is some truth there, but the opposite also carries a lot of weight.
The Dems and Libs are slaves to the media.
Dems & Libs say, do, think, and believe whatever they hope will play well to the MSM.
Trump saw the media as at least an equal foe as the Dems, and it paid off.
So the relationship between Media and libs is a bit of a circle jerk, but make no mistake…the media has been running our countries for decades. That goes far beyond politics, policies and economics…it includes beliefs, behaviours, education, morals and values… the Media is the real enemy, and until Canadians wake up to that (as many Americans have….they at least KNOW they are in a war) we will continue to elect Libs or deknackered Cons, as those 2 groups reflect what the Media has told most Canadians to believe. Yes, the media serves Dems and Libs, but only as long as they are useful. Dems and Libs, however, serve their media masters slavishly. Doing right does not matter…only looking good to certain Media outlets. So they write checks for photo ops, initiate policies to “appear compassionate” and never check back to see if their tossing of taxpayer dollars did more harm than good. The media dictates “Appear to do something” and our politicians jump. The Media are the real enemy….why our country is incurring massive debt, why our kids value looking cool over doing anything….our media may be bought, but our politicians have been bought as well….by the promise of a good story or love-in interview on the CBC.
That so-called Tea Party interview was in April, 2009. CNN canned Ms. Roesgen in June. Even CNN couldn’t deal, at least back then. Of course now all the CNN talents (hah!) are of the same poor-excuse-for-a-reporter ilk. We’re doomed.

‘fake news’ is NOT new. for a more recent example, look up some ‘reporting’ on gunslingers in the late 1800s and then fast forward to the ‘folk heroes’ of the days of dillinger, pretty boy, clyde barrow et al.
