But then came Trump. Not only does he know how to play chess, he’s capable of playing 4D chess against his 2D Democrat opponents. The latest example is Trump’s insistence that illegal immigrants be released directly into the Leftist sanctuary cities. He now wants to know how many illegal immigrants each such city wants. Expect the Democrats to go radio silent and never offer any numbers.

I get it with people voting PPC. Bernier seems like a good way to show your displeasure. However, I’ve got really bad news; the PPC is a disaster that is currently being taken over by liberals who have a beef with the Liberals. I am astonished that the Dems have any support at all with their open border policies. They are essentially treasonous and surely most Americans oppose this nonsense. The numbers of people coming in illegally each month are astronomical. One figure I saw for February was 76,000. I could not believe it, but now I have seen similar numbers. At one time ensuring your borders are secure was a given. The leftist Caesar Chavez and his supporters would physically go after illegal crossers from Mexico. The “wet backs” as they were called were a threat to agricultural jobs. So when did the left go completely off the rails? The US (and Canada) cannot survive when such stupidity reigns.

Joe, I live in Toronto and it was only when Junior released his spending program during the last campaign that I made my mind up to vote Conservative. Before that, I was planning on not voting seeing as how there was no CHP or Libertarian candidate running in my riding. I would love it Doug Ford found a way to take the same approach as Trump and just bus illegal immigrants to the nearest sanctuary cities, be they Hamilton, Toronto or London. What a wonderful gift to Fred Eisenbergher of Hamilton, John Tory of Toronto and Ed Holder of London. The provincial N.D.P. had in their platform declaring Ontario a sanctuary province.

What difference does it make it he drops them off at “Sanctuary Cities”?That’s likely where they were going to go under their own steam if he didn’t give them a ride. Given that since the GOP has lost congress, Trump will not be passing any reform minded legislation before 2020. Other than Presidential power, he is lame duck until then and whatever he attempts will be fought through the lower level judiciary. He stands a good chance of re-election given the radical open border stance of the Dems but if he can’t take the House back it won’t do him much good. He can have fun with this clever taunt but I’ll bet he wouldn’t be able to pull it off in a timeline short of what it would take to get it through the Supreme Court.
The irony is that if he did dump illegals into sanctuary cities, he would actually be improving the quality of their populations. I would hire Mexicans any day over Left Coast hipsters.
