There Goes The Narrative!

UPDATE:

Santana Adams, 24, of Milton, appeared before a Cabell County magistrate judge Friday afternoon. She is charged with falsely reporting an emergency incident.

Original post below.

Via Zerohedge;

According to the criminal complaint, a mother was shopping with her daughter in the Old Navy store a little after 6 p.m. when the suspect approached them.

The complaint says the suspect “grabbed the child by the hair and attempted to pull her away,” and then the little girl “dropped to the floor with the male still pulling her away.”

Police say the mother then pulled out a handgun and told the suspect to let go of the child. The mother told police the man then let go of the girl and ran out of the store into the mall. […]

Mohamed Fathy Hussein Zayan, 54, of Alexandria, Egypt, was arraigned at the Cabell County Courthouse late Monday night…

  1. C’mon, it’s just a cultural misunderstanding…..why, if I had a dollar for every time I……..

diversity is our streng… sweet baby jebus

Apparently Jamil Belfon-Green had a beef
      with Jamal Fredericks
      . So they shot it
out in the hallway of a Toronto Community
      Housing building.

  2. Like I always like to say, YOU are your own first responder.

Just like it was when our forefathers made this country great.

  3. absofrigginLUTELY.
and thats the key, *learn how to use it*.
learn the ‘feel’, learn to fumble with it in the concealed spot so as to pull it out with your finger ready on the trigger and the safety off.
learn how much trigger squeeze pops off a round. get a custom grip.
learn the weight, get accustomed to the kickback for the higher calibre. learn to hit what you aim at.
learn to maintain it, proper cleaning method and schedule.
learn it all, and teach the kids so the very DAY they can legally own one, voila !!

    1. “…pull it out with your finger ready on the trigger and the safety off. …”

      Of course you meant:

with your finger outside the trigger guard and the safety on until you are in the aim on a legitimate target.

If that’s not how we train, we are too much a danger to ourselves and the innocent bystander and will tend to give justification for the constraint of our right to self-defence.

  4. About 7 years ago I had dinner with 5 couples in a New Mexico restaurant. They were all locals. All 5 women carried hand guns in their purse.

    1. From your article:

“Mohamed Fathy Hussein Zayan. Police say he may have simply been patting the girl on the head.”
      and later:
“They say video surveillance doesn’t even show them near each other.”

Mo must have some pretty long hands. And this is how politically correct narrative is created.

  5. While I agree with the “armed society is a polite society” side of the narrative, this one it seems, is a hoax. The guy has been released and the woman has been charged.

    See the link posted above…

  6. Only in America (if the story were true). In Canada, the child would have likely been “groomed” or whatever nasty thing the perp had in mind. No right to self defense with a gun or any other “effective weapon” in the deranged dominion. Criminals get to act first and then the victim, if still alive, gets to wait for the police to arrive on scene to write reports. The worst part of this situation is 9 out of 10 Canadians wouldn’t hear of allowing conceal-carry for their fellow potential victims. On guns, the media has melded their minds into mush.

    1. Agreed….if it’s true that she made it up, then the woman should be severely punished.

  7. At the moment, we are at “there goes the narrative of there goes the narrative.”

But there is always the chance that later on, we will be at “there goes the narrative of there goes the narrative of there goes the narrative.”

In the future, every narrative will be valid for fifteen minutes.

  8. Afterthoughts:

    1. “Our side” does not get to play fake but true (at a deeper level): the Smollet defence.

    2. Wild speculation, but I suspect there may have been some sexual harrassment (even of a very mild nature) going on there before the hoax.

  9. Why are they charging her? It was just a hate crime hoax. People never get charged with hate crime hoaxes.

    1. “Why are they charging her?”

GUN, …if for no other reason. Adds +1 to gun crime statistic.

      1. If you’re going to commit a crime, even a fake crime, (with zero % advantage), don’t do it with a CHILD and a GUN involved.

  10. Suggestion:
Someone convicted of falsely accusing another should face the same penalty that the accused person would have faced had they been convicted.
