  1. Mystery Woman: You miserable slug! You think you can talk your way out of this? You betrayed me.

Joliet Justin: No, I didn’t. Honest… I ran out of gas. I… I had a flat tire. I didn’t have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn’t come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locus. It wasn’t my fault. I swear to god!

  2. Since Unifor campaigns for job destroying carbon taxes and climate action plans, I have no sympathy for union members who loose their jobs due to the policies they vote for.

    1. yep.
lets tally the votes unionboy sent to the TURD.
      no. sympathy. whatsoever. for. unionboy.
too bad for the local economic ripple effect, but, well, unionboy.

      1. I hate seeing this happen to the innocents involved, not all of the workers are on side with that idiot Dias, they’re just trying to make a living.
But, the snowball effect continues, more bad news for Jihadi Justin leading into October. Then the unwinding of horrid policies can begin, starting with the stupid carbon tax and anti-development, anti-resource and anti-pipeline stupidity.

    2. joe – the unions have gone global. Union members need to learn how to code.

  3. If you run a plant in the US you don’t have to pay carbon tax. The stupidity of the carbon tax is that it should be a sales tax so local products aren’t taxed at a higher level than imports. Forget that – the stupidity of the carbon tax is it’s stupid.

  4. Drove by the GM plant in Ingersoll last week and 10km’s west of it along the 401 is a farmers field with 100’s of Chevy Equinoxs (the only vehicle it produces) that I guess there was no room for at the plant. My money is on this plant closing (ending GM’s Canadian car manufacturing)

  5. Wait! Not to worry! All those AWFUL jobs fabricating the tools of DESTRUCTION of our beautiful blue planet with their GRAY tailpipe exhaust is a WIN !!! A WIN for our GREEN planet. And the NEW GREEN jobs (in boiler rooms trying to sell solar panels to Eskimos) will propel the Canadian Economy to a new GREEN future … where CARBON TAXES pay for jobs that create nothing. The new GREEN jobs will PAY for doing NOTHING. Ohhhhh the beauty of Canada’s new GREEN future!! Let’s all hold hands and sing to gaia that those awful GRAY jobs have been canceled !! Yeayyy ! Gaia !!!

/it hurt to even write this satire. Satire that sounds so realistic it hurts my stomach. Words that could have come from the mouths of anyone in the PM Socksinpuppet Canadian Admin. Or AOC … take your choice.

    1. lol !!!
well thanks kenji for beating me by 2 minutes and saving me the trouble of typing it out.
      lol !!!
p.s., yo, all you leftoids out there, ‘critical thinking’ does NOT mean bitching incessantly
      about stuff you dont comprehend.
      lol !!!

  6. Maurice Strong’s dream of de-industrializing coming true, one industry at a time.

    1. There’s a 16th century Papua New Guinea in Canada’s future. And the headhunting has already begun.

  7. 36K for a baseline Pacifica are killing that plant faster than any stupid politician or union boss.

  8. And where there is no carbon tax? [there’s not a carbon tax in Ontario yet either]

  9. But look on the bright side, now those auto workers have lots of time to see Great Leader Justin prance at the Windsor homosexual parade.

  10. Good riddance. When Government Motors and Obamasler return the money they have stolen from me in the bailout I will start giving a f***. Well no, I will not. For decades they could not build a car worth buying. The sooner they die the better. FETE.

  11. Electricity is too expensive for electric cars ! HaHa. I know that within 5 years, all those car makers who invested in electric vehicles will be rueing the day, as it were.

  12. While Groper dicks around trying to save his buddies at Lavalin, Fox News reports that Trump has signed an executive order today to get work started on Trans Canada’s Keystone pipeline at the border.

  13. In addition to the carbon tax to ‘grow’ the economy we have high electricity prices. Unifor and other unions are fully supportive of the push to more renewables. This drives jobs out of the country. Wake up union members, your unions are killing your jobs (and they are killing your pension plan investments).

On the bright side, wind power is currently producing less than 1% of capacity today in Alberta! 🙁

  14. Layoffs, breadlines, foreclosures, … just part and parcel of supporting socialism. Suck it up, princess.

Do you still have to pay union dues when you are unemployed? Layed off? Out of your strike pay?

  15. The carbon tax is really only a minor player here. After years of zero interest rates, everybody has a new car on payments so nobody needs one. This reality will hit auto workers all over the world so better get shining the resume and pay off debt. Auto industry layoff will be huge.

    1. Finally, an honest post. Tired of seeing the carbon tax get blamed for every damn thing.

I’d add that cars are lasting longer than ever and more countries can produce them. With robots.
