  6. Many suggest that the government should sell the CBC off, be done with it. The fact that Harper did not do that is one of my biggest critics of his time in Ottawa. Their left wing BS is indefenceable, even undemocratic. The fact that CTV and Global are of the same ilk is enough.

    Bottom line the CBC has to be written off and liquidated as there will be no buyers. The suggestion they hold about 5% market share is probably accurate but that market shrinks each year.

  11. Food for thought. I met a woman for supper that I had met. She seemed normal until politics came up. I know, you’re not to bring up politics but she brought it up. She is a hard left mentality which was spooky but it gets better. When speaking of the equalizer that the electoral college is in the US and that all votes matter not just the coastal elite power centers, she uttered “ well then the educated people make the decisions.” She spouted off numerous falsehoods about much. I questioned her if she knew off Trump’s education (MBA from Wharton which is the gold standard of MBA’s), she didn’t. She spoke of numerous falsehoods and fake facts which is too long to list. The reason for mentioning it? Stock up on ammo. I’m not kidding. These types of idiots want the gulags again. I was generally disturbed with what I heard.

    2. The Electoral College is no ‘equalizer’. It’s the opposite. It means that if you don’t live in a handful of states you’re nobody. EC is the only system worst than simple majoritarianism. EC doesn’t prevent gaming the system IT IS THE GAME. And it will be destroyed.
