There’s a 7:45am news conference tomorrow, after which Trudeau is scheduled to board a plane.
It seems a bit early in the day to be flying off into the sunset.
In the meantime, here’s a couple questions nobody’s going to ask: Do they not have enough lawyers inside the Justice Department? And how many employees does a company need to hire to become immune from criminal prosecution? (Asking for a friend).

Justin will give everyone a virtue lecture that he values diversity, he values robust discussions, and his government acts with the utmost professionalism and integrity. It is unfortunate that some people feel differently. The Liberal party will continue to protect Canadian jobs.
What a bunch of hogwash from another corrupt politician from Quebec.
Racist Joe your back…
So only Quebec has ever had corrupted politicians.
Your lack of knowledge of the political corruption throughout Canada shows your posts to be untrue when you only single out Quebec!
Everything I just said is true. Calling me a racist make you feel better? Screaming racist is the last refuge of someone with nothing intelligent to say.
Speaking of corruption, wasn’t a senior Quebec police officer suspended? But perhaps it’s nothing?
https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.cbc.ca/amp/1.5045275
Ford government fires OPP deputy Brad Blair, critic of Taverner appointment.
It’s spreading Joe to Ontario…
I’m calling you out Joe for you continually single out Quebec when those of us who live in the real world know that political corruption has and continues to happen all over Canada.
Your hate for Quebec comes through your post so at least I’m intelligent enough to confront a poster who should really hate the individual corrupt politicians and not where they actually come from.
For your picking out an entire province of millions of different peoples and you lump them like all together.
Calling me out? Ohhhh. If you’ve spent any time here you’ll know I’ve criticized lots of corruption outside Quebec. What is interesting is you playing the racist card whenever Quebec corruption is mentioned.
PS. I was especially hard on the PCs in Alberta when they were in power. But I guess you’d call that racism too!
Joe Just because you can’t stop stressing where Quebec is the only place for corrupt politicians currently has not done you any favours has it.
So don’t go blaming me for your continually saying :
“another corrupt politician from Quebec”
Thats all on you Joe.
You write it, you own it.
For that’s all we ever hear from you Joe is:
Another corrupt politician from Quebec.
Wrong again! Never said Quebec is the only place where there is corruption. But it is a target rich environment. Deny it all you want.
The Liberals argument that this is all about protecting jobs was demolished by Liz May at the Justice Committee hearing today. So what are the Liberals after? Protecting a corrupt company!
Protecting a corrupt long term governmental system used by the corrupt Lib Con Two Party System to drain as much taxation money from Canadians in order to pay for and fulfill a worldwide domination of a false socialist paradise that will lead eventualy to the destruction of the European and North American races including their religions.
That’s their goal!
hay pickyernosejoe, raccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccist. Doo ewe even kno the meaning of the work, or are you just securing your “I’m the stupidest in here today” position ???
He’s completely incoherent, last I heard Quebecois wasn’t a ‘race’
Tone it down, and stay on topic. Its a comments section — not a sandbox.
Exactly. The Liberal mafia threw JWR under the bus and we will get no answers through the justice committee. The whitewashing will continue and this will fade from the news and sunny ways will return.
Nothing but hogwash and lies from Butts and Wernick.
Yep,KK, and isn’t the Liberal’s contempt for us something to behold, ” we’ll have Butts and Wernick lie their a$$es off in front of the cameras then the PM will skip town and the media will take over the battle. The Rubes buy it every time”.
When the going gets tough, it’s time for a vacation on the Aga Khan’s private island!
Beats dealing with all those pesky torches and pitchforks in, say, Regina.
Get a free vacation from the Aga Khan and pay a $100 fine. Heck of a deal. To bad it cost taxpayers a $15 million ‘donation’
I hope wherever Trudeau is flying off to it’s a one way ticket. Unless it’s near me.
Anyways I think the Turd is too much of a moron to resign. He still thinks he’s Allahs gift to everything.
We can hope can’t we?

“And now, the end is near…. and so I face , the final curtain….”
snicker…
Is it going to snow tomorrow morning? At 7 AM?
Sure hope not what with an election looming!
Justin will fly to Iqaluit this morning along with Seamus and Carolyn Bennett to shed tears, write a cheque, etc. From the PM’s itinerary:
Iqaluit, Nunavut
1:30 p.m. The Prime Minister will deliver an official apology to Inuit for the federal government’s management of tuberculosis in the Arctic from the 1940s to the 1960s, and will make an important announcement.
Frobisher Inn
Astro Hill
Another day, another apology. What will Trudeau do to bolster his “sensitivity” credentials when he runs out of things (that others have done) to apologize for?
Interestingly, he never apologizes for his own shortcomings or those of his Govern ment. How about he apologize for snubbing the truckers from Alberta. If you want to hide behind history’s mistakes, but ignore today’s issues, Justin is your guy.
Apology?
“I’m thorry for not being thorry !”
After watching Mernick (?) the PRivy Council, and Butts go through the “I don’t knows, I didn’t record that, I don’t recollect” bullshit from their prepared statements, and the clear obstruction from Mr Horsefeathers, it’s clear the LIEBrawls are covering up a self inflicted wound.
The next Ipsos polls will be interesting, the last one had the CPCs up by 9, and Nanos continues its shade routine for their precious Liberals.
Job 1 is getting rid of TruDOPE and his Fibs. Anyone catch his “I’m thtill learning” statement this morning? On the job training? How many lawyers and advisors? He’s tone deaf AND stupid!
“I’m thtill learning” — I missed that. Cannot believe he said something so stupid! Does he not realize he is supposed to be the leader of the country? And NO, in this position you cannot learn on the job. And galavanting around the country is not a good way to “learn” how to be a PM. Trump was right about Justin. I am more appalled than ever. Justin must resign, and Liberals need to find someone who is qualified to be PM.
What’s the over/ under on his ums, errs and ahs for tomorrows presser?
“What’s the over/ under on his ums, errs and ahs for tomorrows presser?”
um = I’m trying to remember my lie
err = let me qualify that lie
ah = give me a second while I make up a new lie
The Hail-Mary clause that will overrule any court verdict that would prevent SNC from performing Government Contracts… The Fix is in…..Hurry up and wait
The Government of Special Interest activists collide in open warfare
Butts: The George Soros AGW freak had to save SNC after destroying Canada’s economy…OUT
Jody: The Indian Activist that fixed the Pipeline Court decision & continued Indian winning ways… OUT
The Quebec Judge who advised the Indians in the BC pipeline Court was also advising SNC, Butts had stolen her Judge
JMHO
Isn’t 8AM ET a little early for a presser?
A quick early morning Lie and fly.
Questions will not be answered just a brief statement continuing Butts hand off of lies and off our Prime Minister goes.
Our Presstitute Media will then go to work on their Opt Ed paid off governmental money making reports to all us Canadians that it’s over and we should re-elect the Liebrals…
I don’t think the Presstitutes will work to save Trudeau this time. They have their own polling that they see. At this point I doubt they are willing to extend the credit required for standard invoice terms, and all services will be strictly COD. Best not to anger the new incoming boss who will decide if and how the money is divided.
The idea was to rush it and hope few would see it live. Friendly media could edit out any major gaffes before showing tapes. Early enough to avoid serious questions.
“Do they not have enough lawyers inside the Justice Department?”
It’s a two part answer, Kate.
Part 1: Yes, there are enough lawyers, probably too many.
Part 2: No, not enough of the “right” kind of lawyer, nudge, nudge.
Re: Part 2: It’s very frustrating when the people you hire to do a job actually do it, instead of “playing ball”. Been there, done that, reaped the “reward” for my technical report.
@Kate: According to the PMO email service:
Iqaluit, Nunavut

Well isn’t that just swell, the federales are once again apologizing for the treatment, or more appropriately, the lack of treatment for TB of natives in the 1940s to 1960s? In the 1940s they were still fighting HITLER! So here we are some 80 odd years later when most of the affected are no doubt dead and pushing up Arctic daisies and thus can’t sue the government.
I’m sure the indigenous folks will be delighted that they haven’t been left for dead…because SNC-Lavalin jobs are stake!
Naturally because the government or what is left of it has to change the channel.
Cheers
Hans Rupprecht, Commander in Chief

And the immigrants coming into Canada of late with TB; will I get a cheque and apology someday for being exposed to a disease eradicated in Canada until of late?
That’s racist. Please proceed to a Liberal Urban Conditioning Center.
Butts was dripping with pure pap, clarifying nothing but attempting to cover butts and make Wilson Raybould look bad. We are to believe he and his pal Justin were just doing their jobs, all above board of course according to his testimony, not under oath, which is a red flag right there. We shall hear from Justin today with more of the same with apologies to anyone who feels offended.
Welcome to Bananada !
Butts reminds me of that sleazy used car salesman selling from a corner lot before safety inspections were required. Where heavy oil was put into the engine and bananas were stuffed into the differential so the car ran smooth for 30 days.
Trudeau will capitulate right after AOC does a lap dance for Trump.
The CBC’s “At Issues” panel — with Chantal Hebert, Andrew Coyne, and Paul Wells — after the hearings, offered some good commentary. (I detest CBC News, but the three people on the panel during the scandal have offered decent opinions). Towards the end of the A.I. session, the panel complained that the House Justice Committee was biased, refusing to hear from key witness and refusing to obtain key documentation. Then Paul Wells, a severe critic of the Liberals during the scandal, seemed bitter and defeated. He said he expects that the House Committee will soon shut the hearings down, and in a few weeks people will start forgetting about the scandal.
I agree. Look for Justin Trudeau to cry crocodile tears and sound “contrite” at this morning’s press conference. The lap-dog Liberals on the House Committee will indeed shut the hearings down. What could Canadians on the side of moral decency do? The media could still undertake investigative reporting, digging deeper into SNC Lavalin dirt, and probe deeper into the Mark Norman trial. There’s lots of sleazy facts to unearth.
There is a role for populism here. One can be sure the aboriginal lobbyists are hopping mad over JWR’s treatment. The feminist industry is upset at JWR’s and Philpott’s resignation. One could look for demonstrations from these quarters. But what about conservatives? Think of the spectre of Trudeau refusing to meet with the western truckers on Parliament Hill while at the same time scheming for SNC Lavalin. Conservatives must learn to take to the streets and to dog the sleaze bag Liberals. There’s no need for the issue to die out, if Canadians are upset enough.
“…if Canadians are upset enough.”
Canadians are NEVER upset enough .
True enough.
David, the media took out “the western truckers on Parliament Hill” , Trudeau would have never faced them. Butts would never allowed the photo op of Justin being protested. The media knew, they only had to find 2 or 3 unsophisticated truckers, who have no idea how to interact with media. All the Liberal media needed was a 1-2 second sound bite and the Oilfield Truckers Rally was toast. The media did it for Justin, easy peasey !
They and might very well still, try to tag Scheer with hanging with “radical and racists”, yet. Just wait for the election, the media will remind you of this.
Agreed. I watched Trudeau’s presser this morning and if I can sum it up in one sentence, he said the PMO made some small communication mistakes, he has learned some lessons and nothing to see folks, please move along.
I too have been watching some CBC coverage as they wait for Trudeau’s speech before he leaves to grovel and apologize to even more natives on behalf of whitey.
I found it surprisingly balanced. No doubt they are cheering for Trudeau, but they have been highlighting many points we have discussed here. They just finished airing a segment that basically showed Trudeau and Butts are wrong about jobs being in jeopardy. For example, SNC-Lav still have many potential provincial and civic contracts where a conviction would not affect their ability to bid. Hey, I learned something from the CBC!
Agreed. I followed the AdScam scandal closely (I was writing for a snailmail political newsletter years ago and unearthed access-to-information documents to give to the media). So I followed the media coverage carefully. Back then, the two major CBC News commentators were Jason Moscovitz and Don Newman, two of the sleaziest, pro-Liberal journalists around. During the entire length of AdScam both men did their best to trivislize the scandal.
Jason Moscovitz after Adscam took a Liberal patronage job with the Business Development Bank of Canada. Currently, Don Newman is the head of the board of directors for Canada 2020, a “think tank” with close Liberal ties.
So compared with what went on 20 years ago, the CBC coverage so far has been better. But watch for them to tilt Liberal during the upcoming October federal election.
P.s., today former CBC reporters James Cudmore and Ben Chin are up to their eyeballs in sleaze.
This is good news. The CBC is balaced ONLY when the Libs are truly looking bad and they can’t afford to spin or they would alienate too many supporters. If Libs have lost the CBC cheer leaders, they need to worry.
Canada is proof you can have a country in the frozen northern half of a continent built on lies, graft, sleaze, corruption, favouratism and narrcisim . But it can only have 12 helicopters.
Hey its worked fine since 1756.
Ok the bit about the helicopters is recent.
Modify that with a garrison.
While the US is proof you can have a country in the more temperate southern half of a continent built on lies, graft, sleaze, corruption, favouritism and narcissism.
But at least they have more helicopters!
I doubt the PM will resign, or step aside for a temp until the next election, or call for a leadership review, (there’s not really enough time between now and the next fed election to tidy this mess up).
He may be contrite, apologize even, but I’ll put all my points on Trudeau leading the Liberals into the next fed election.
The Conservatives / People’s Party should accept that the Liberals won’t resign but remain calling for this… Trudeau’s more useful to “the right” as a millstone around the Liberals this summer-autumn.
Yes, as I remarked in an earlier thread: our Dear Leader definitely strikes me as the Führerbunker type.
….oooo I like to dance a little side step, and lead the people on….
The takeaway here is that there are now two sides in the liberal party.
As there is a preference inside media to take the liberal line, and there are two lines, its inevitable that there will be conflicts inside the parliamentary press corps to openly defend their side.
On one side you have the hash tag “let her speak” on the other you have the plausible denial line of “she just remembered it differently”. Both sides have something to lose if they so much as admit the other has any credibility.
They’ve dug in for a war of attrition, there will be blood.
To end this one side has to admit they made a mistake.
Did Jody say that? Nope, she was pressured
Did either Butts or Werneck say that? No again, to them just a misunderstanding and as far as they know, she hadn’t “officially” made a decision.
Someone has to fall on their sword.
My guess is JWR still has something in the chamber and she is ready to use it.
Its not over.
Related
The lawyer for the defense in the Norman trial has indicated that if the documents she requested are not forthcoming Butts and Werneck will be subpoenaed to testify under oath.
Team Sockmonkey is running out of time.
Canadians are being offered nothing substantive to judge the veracity of the Butts story versus the Wilson-Raybould one – no documents, texts, emails, nada. In the absence of that, we can only go with our gut instincts.
Well, my own gut instinct whispers to me that Wilson-Raybould’s is the credible narrative. It also consistently whispers to me that Butts is a weasel on a message-control mission.
Full disclosure: I want them all gone in the very next election (even Wilson-Raybould*) but especially our Dear Leader.
* Though I believe her account and have considerable respect for her personal and political courage in this affair, she’s still a Liberal.
Watching JT’s news conference now, and he is repeating Gerald Butt’s arguments from yesterday word for word. And he’s “contrite”. Gee! Wow!
I just caught the end of it. Why did he remove JWR? I gather that Turdeau refused to answer it. The real answer? She refused to let a corrupt Quebec firm off the hook.
Got up at 0500 out here on the Left Coast to find that the PM has a press conference right now. Virtually everyone out here will miss it, which is classic Ottawa hubris.
Many sleep late when the pogey cheque’s in the mail.
Well 22 minutes speech full of lies.
The Presstitute Press of the corrupt CBC sure covering for and handling their Leader well.
I hope the Inuit don’t allow his plane to land and tell him since he can’t be honest to his own peoples his apologies to the Inuit are-unwanted at this time for they would prefer to get an apology from an honourable honest politician.
What a joke of a federal government, we are slaves to it and it doesn’t matter what they do the corrupt politicians, welfare business and our paid off presstitute fake media do.
They get away with it for they hold the power over all of us when it should be the other way around.
Canada
Not Strong and Not Free
The Turd brought up the line “…the decision would be her’s, and her’s alone” again.
It seems to me that if JWR had caved to the Turd / Butts and allowed SNC to buy their way out of prosecution, and if the deal had gone negative in the public eye following that, then it would have been JWR who would have been thrown under the bus, because she would have been accused of acting alone, without consultation.
Once the pressure started from the PMO, she had no way of coming out this without being punished in some way.
Zero lawyers; buying politicians is cheaper anyway. Buying unions, which gives you control of the bureaucracy, is cheaper. Canada is a failed state; no rule of law, no leaders at any level who are not on the Lavalin payroll. No police who are willing to enforce any law against the wrong groups.
It appears to come down to two things that define a free nation; right to bear arms (gone in Canada), and the death penalty (gone in Canada). Politicians, civil servants, judges, unions, want the death penalty gone for one clear reason; self preservation.
Blah, blah, blah Trudeau roiled already muddy waters. How Wilson Raybould or any other person with basic decency and scruples can sit with that cabal is beyond me. If there isn’t a party revolt over this we can assume they are OK with emulating banana republic regimes.
It is simple. JWR wanted to be the one payed off directly, and handsomely. SNC Lavalin paid off Trudeau directly, and handsomely instead.
No one who has ever been a Liberal, has a moral center. It is that simple. This is a cat fight over the lions share of the graft. No one is going to jail. No one will be punished. Everyone who had to change sinecures still gets one. Liberals are reelected, then it is time for the west to fish or cut bait. END OF STORY.
Kevin, I have been wondering what was in it for Turdeau. Your post has caused me to think Turdeau is feathering his nest.
He realizes he’s too stupid to last as prime minister, and has no marketable skills, so he is setting himself up for life after politics. He is now pulling a Mulroney (remember the Airbus scandal?). He gets SNC off the hook and they provide him with ‘consulting’ work after Turdeau leaves office.
I think we need to institute a death penalty for the “oh people are basically good, even if they make it into the the Liberal cabinet” crowd. You cannot fix stupid, and every comment about having faith in JWR, or JWR having morals, proves that.
It would appear that Justhin is being Stockwell Dayed with some of his cabinet repudiating his leadership in public while refusing to quit caucus. The only question that remains is who has the backing of the majority of the cabinet & caucus. I read some months ago that there was a revolt brewing and it was just waiting for the right circumstance to begin. Personally I hope that Trudeau stays in office and wins the next election based on Ontario and Quebec votes so the west can cut Vancouver off by forming its own nation.
The net result of Butts’, Wernick’s, and Trudeau’s presser this morning is that they threw Jody under the bus claiming she is lying, they are trying to save jobs in Quebec, and that there is nothing to see here folks, so please move along.
Licia Cornell’s dissects some of Butts’ and Warnick’s lies.
https://www.google.ca/amp/s/calgaryherald.com/news/local-news/corbella-wernick-and-butts-testimonies-do-little-to-alleviate-snc-scandal/amp
Wernick testified SNC’s plans to move out of Montreal and cut jobs was a matter of “public record in the business press”.
The public record is clear, SNC had to stay in Montreal for at least six years (this was one of the terms of a big loan from the Quebec pension plan).
Plus when Wernick testified it was public knowledge SNC would move, this was two days AFTER the Toronto Star reported that they SNC CEO said the company is staying in Montreal.
“how many employees does a company need to hire to become immune from criminal prosecution? ”
Let me rephrase that. “How many millions of dollars must a company donate to the Liberal Party to become immune from criminal prosecution?”
It’s not even a size thing.
Basically if you’re a rich Chinaman or French Canadian the law is just a suggestion.
Justin only agreed to hand over the Huawei princess because he’s afraid of Trump (the fear of whom is the beginning of wisdom, though only a beginning).
Tristin Hopper outlines some reasons for charging Turdeau.
https://www.google.ca/amp/s/nationalpost.com/news/canada/national-economic-interest-snc-lavalin-jane-philpott-jody-wilson-raybould-justin-trudeau/amp
“Knowingly counseling a prosecutor to violate his/her legal duties could be considered an attempt to obstruct justice, which is an offence under the criminal code” said Gerry Ferguson, a distinguished professor of law at the University of Victoria. Under section 715.32(3) of the Criminal Code, prosecutors are forbidden to consider the “national economic interest” in deciding to grant certain deferred prosecution agreements.
This means Butts, Warnick, Turdeau were asking JWR to break the law by considering jobs as a reason for giving SNC a DPA.
No wonder they are all so anxious to say ‘of course it is your decision Jody’.
For the drama-teacher-in-charge, the concept of “laws” is entirely theoretical and something for “other people”. Growing up as he did, his sense of entitlement to whatever he wanted and people hanging on his every word would dwarf Mt Everest. And then the snow-job the Lib cabal who got him into politics threw on him could only have served to increase that exponentially.
I don’t think Canada has ever had a more out-of-touch “leader”.
Raping a student surprisingly absent from the list of things to charge the Tapette with.
Can anyone explain why people are buying into the whole ‘protect jobs’ pantload?
Why does anyone accept that premise?
It’s absurd.
If SNC can’t bid on Canadian government contracts then some other Canadian company will bid and hire workers.
NO NET JOB LOSSES!
It’s a Liberal smokescreen, why does anyone fall for it???
That Randy B, son of the West from Edmonton, is quite the guy. I’m sure the good people of Edmonton will re-elect him, heck they might pick him to take over from Rachel when she tires of leading the province.
It hit the sweet spot, imo. Just enough to keep Trudeau in power but not enough to wash away the stink that’s stuck to him.
As I mentioned yesterday, Trudeau has inflicted a lot of damage on him and his party. He’s failed on election reform, pipelines, deficits and debt. He’s provoked a national unity crisis in Alberta by trying to destroy the energy industry (50% open to separation without any leadership or organized promotion). He’s in a carbon tax war with several provinces. He’s inflamed regional resentment with his blatant Quebec favoritism. He’s pissed off women and native voters with his treatment of JWR. Lavscam smells and looks like Adscam but it’s worse because it erodes trust in judicial independence, the rule of law and equal justice. To top it off, it looks like the economy has ground to a halt.
Glad Trudeau showed regular Canadians that he is just as as slimy and evasive as ever but sowed just enough doubt to prevent a revolt against him by his caucus and progeessive media bodyguards.
You query is a trick question of course because immunity from prosecution is based on the location of the jobs not the number of jobs. If the company is from Quebec then any job losses are too many. If those jobs losses are in Alberta or Saskatchewan then Trudeau’s attitude is “who gives a f*ck — the more job losses, the better”. He truly is prime minister of Quebec, not prime minister of Canada.
“To top it off, it looks like the economy has ground to a halt.”
Yes. The interest rate hikes designed to sabotage the US economy—for which Trump would be blamed—are backfiring on both the Chinese and the Trudeau Liberals. Meanwhile, the US economy continues to surge ahead.
Justin is the one looking at prison time, while Trump laughs his way to a second term before retiring to Trump Tower to enjoy a well-earned retirement, in his own bed.
How sweet it is.
Its clear now that the reason Butts resigned is because the meal ticket he picked up while attending McGill years ago has expired.
Spot on!
FREE SASKABERTA !!!!
The Confederation known as Bananada has failed miserably.
A Universal Declaration of Independence needs to be voted into existence, and acted upon.
Colonial status of the Prairies needs to END !!!
The major focus of all this dreck is Quebec and Quebecers while the rest of the country goes to hell in a handbasket. The West needs to send a strong message to the silly adolescent now in charge, and no more Truck Convoys to Ottawa, which was totally dismissed and accomplished next to nothing.
Someone here on SDA mentioned shutting down rail and road traffic at the Manitoba/Ontario border. Now that would be a statement which just might get some press and political attention.
The West needs a leader, and not necessarily a current politico, but a man of the people, with intelligence and the intestinal fortitude to stare down the clowns running the Ottawa gong show. There is no single secessionist voice the feds can talk to and they will not engage with any single province. The western provincial Premiers have been noticeably silent about all of this criminality. Why is that?
This is serious stuff and must be treated seriously.
We have to get this bunch of liars to hell out of Office, we can’t wait until the election in October. We are being taken for fools , we need to prove them wrong.
Yes. The straightforward solution is to call an election. Either people care about this stuff or they don’t.
Tootles knows how to do it: the trip to Iqaluit will reassure all that da Canadian values are still intact, after all. This , and other actions like it,will more than nail down the Liberal woman vote for October.
So we are all in a very good place and just need to move on.
Is there any way to know whether the RCMP are involved in this, short of a leak?
If the Liberal majority on the Justice Committee won’t allow her to speak, why can’t she hold a press conference on her own. Saying anything publicly, within the parameters that Justin has allowed already, the same parameters she would be allowed if she was back before the Committee. It’s clear Trudeau is undermining her, and fighting back along with Butts and Wernick.
Time for her to bring out the goods, or go home. Time to take-off the gloves Raybould or you’re just wasting our time. It should be clear to her after this morning, that he won’t likely be signing your nomination papers. It should also be clear that the wagons have been circled, and there won’t likely be anymore defectors.
If you’re going after the king, you have one last chance. Waiting for the election or till after your kicked out of caucus, will then only look like sour grapes and the media won’t even give you the time of day.
The budget is coming, and if you don’t have any more arrows in your quiver, you will be ignored by the media.
She has to come out today or tomorrow, or else the books will be closed on this.
At this point for her to continue in politics the alternative is to leave the Liberal party and sit as an independent and take her story to the Floor. By using Parliamentary Privilege she can overcome Party solidarity and fully expose the Liberal party for what it is.
As far as the Trudeau speech today how can he claim a “failure to communicate” when the Clerk of the Privy Council told JRW that the boss was pissed off.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=452XjnaHr1A
And when the Boss is pissed off we know how that could end.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkQzE831VM8
The minute the Sockmonkey refuses to sign her nomination papers is when he loses his protected status with the media.

This maybe one of the best responses to Gerald Butts testimony that you will hear.
Judge weighs in after Gerald Butts’ testimony at justice committee
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNCZnVu7Zp4
***************************************************************************
The opinion of a Judge who is also in the Indian Business (I agree with her opinion) The outside Third Party was the first step for Jody to be fired….. Look this is simple.. Butts was using Jody & the BC Indians to block Kinder Morgan, but somehow the Indians were unhappy ( maybe check bounced) and She refused to be used for Quebec SnC……
The History of BC Indians (who never had any original Treaties) using the Courts to create de-facto treaties & winning Judgements have Jody’s Fingerprints.. Most of the Indian/carbon/land claims action are in BC
The Clerk was totally toxic to everyone, how dare you question my conduct
The vise (assistant) AG testimony was flakey,,…said all the right things, but Jody ordered her to stay out of the SNC…. WHY? I am not sure why that position exists…
Butts said he had a dinner meeting with Jody, but deliberately said she had a subsequent meeting with an unnamed Person (who was that person),,,, Was it the retired SCOC Justice
Lots of information for a competent criminal investigation
The former judge: “THAT COMPONENT (interfering with AG’s decision) SHOWS TO ME, UHHHH, A FUNDAMENTAL MISUNDERSTANDING….”
Misunderstanding my arse. That component shows to me a wilful disregard and absolute contempt for the administration of justice.
trudeau left a snowjob/storm in ottawa only to fly into a snowstorm up north.
if you trudeau are so good at listening to canadians and want to learn something then resign.
The Public Prosecution Service of Canada speaks out clearly and concisely after Zoolander threw JWR under the bus this morning
Try wiggling out of this statement Turdeau and the rest of the Libranos
https://mobile.twitter.com/PPSC_SPPC/status/1103679348689776640?s=09
Definitely don’t want Trudeau to resign.
Imagine JWR as the new leader of the Liberals. Why hand them an easy win in the next election
Who is that smarmy little prick Anthony Housefather???
Turdeau said the following this morning and I quote:
“I believe real leadership is about listening, learning and compassion.
It is about the push and pull of robust discourse, and healthy debate.
It’s about transparency and accountability.
One of the things central to my leadership is fostering an environment where my Ministers, caucus, and staff feel comfortable coming to me when they have concerns.
Indeed, I expect them to do so”. end Turdeau quote
Liberal Whitby MP Celina Caesar-Chavannes has a feisty response to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s comments about the way his government handled the SNC Lavalin file.
She quoted him on Twitter, saying he wants staff to feel comfortable coming to him with concerns, but then says “I did come to you recently. Twice. Remember your reactions?”
She didn’t elaborate on what she approached Trudeau about or exactly what his reactions were.

Turdeau said this about JWR this morning Quote:
“One of the things central to my leadership is fostering an environment where my Ministers, caucus, and staff feel comfortable coming to me when they have concerns.
Indeed, I expect them to do so.
In Ms. Wilson-Raybould’s case, she did not come to me, and I wish she had.” end Turdeau quote
But here is what JWR said in her testimony:
“This same day (Sept. 17th) I have my one-on-one with the PM that I requested a couple weeks ago. When I walked in the Clerk of the Privy Council was in attendance as well.
While the meeting was not about the issue of SNC and DPA’s the PM raised the issue immediately.
The Prime Minister asks me to help out – to find a solution here for SNC – citing that if there was no DPA there would be many jobs lost and that SNC will move from Montreal.
In response, I explained to him the law and what I have the ability to do and not do under the Director of Public Prosecutions Act around issuing Directives or Assuming Conduct of Prosecutions. I told him that I had done my due diligence and made up my mind on SNC and that I was not going to interfere with the decision of the DPP.
In response the PM further reiterated his concerns. I then explained how this came about and that I had received the section 13 note from the DPP earlier in September and that I had considered the matter very closely. I further stated that I was very clear on my role as the AG – and I am not prepared to issue a directive in this case – that it was not appropriate.
The PM again cited potential loss of jobs and SNC moving. Then to my surprise – the Clerk started to make the case for the need to have a DPA – he said “there is a board meeting on Thursday (Sept 20) with stock holders” … “they will likely be moving to London if this happens”… “and there is an election in Quebec soon”…
At that point the PM jumped in stressing that there is an election in Quebec and that “and I am an MP in Quebec – the member for Papineau”.
Conclusion: Turdeau lied this morning.
Yes, JWR decision was final, but she said she would listen to others, but that would not change her decision.
Of course the PM said he respected her decision which was hers’ to make.
That’s why he fired/demoted her and set her up with an insulting offer of Indigenous Service Minister to gain political cover.
Trudeau’s story is credible as long as you don’t think about it at all and/or are a deluded Nice Hair Cabin Boy supporter.
The bottom line is Canadians believe her, not him. They will render the final judgment hopefully.
This has gone beyond legal inquiry because so close to an election the court of public opinion is now sitting.
The idea that this was just a big misunderstanding on Trudeau’s part is laughable.
Here’s the question they should have asked Butts when he got onto his job-protection bullshit:
“Every week in this country hundreds of ordinary, well-intentioned Canadians are convicted of the Criminal Code offence of driving over .08 – many because they had but one beer too many. Conviction carries mandatory driving prohibitions, which in many cases results in job losses and the all the attendant economic and social hardships. Would you be prepared to justify political interference in pending prosecutions for Operating a motor vehicle over .08 on those same grounds: that it would be justified if it was all about “protecting jobs?”
They should have asked him how it affects any jobs, let alone 9000.
If SNC can’t bid on Canadian government contracts then some other Canadian company will bid.
This has NOTHING to do with jobs.
That’s just the smokescreen.
It’s another Liberal LIE.
Prairie Freedom Alliance https://prairiefreedom.ca/jointhefight.html
Looks like this is the option. Western Independence Party of Sask has ditched all separatist policies.
Can someone please explain to the idiots in the media the simple fact that if SNC can’t bid on Canadian government contracts then some other Canadian company will bid?
At what level of stupidity do journalists operate?
If SNC doesn’t get the contract then some other Canadian company will hire people and do the work.
If SNC gets whacked it won’t affect 9000 jobs.
90, maybe.
Or has Trudeau and SNC already rigged the bids?
From too big to fail, to too big to jail.
