  1. Thank God you have a screen cap of this…the whole twitter thread was a “rip Seamus a new one”-orama. If only the whole thread was archived. Liberals are puke.

    1. *
shameless o’regan is no more of an embarrassment than
      wreckit ralph…

“Last year Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale claimed there
were more than 1,200 break-ins a year in Canada in which
      guns were stolen.”

      hmmm… let’s ask Statistics Canada…

“There may not have been 1,200 break-ins to steal guns
in the 151 years since Confederation.”

  2. I also enjoy quiet moments of reflection and photographs of myself from a photographer on my private Jet.

    1. As Turdeau says “The Liberals are back.” And they are entitled to their entitlements.

It’s not an ex-journalist thing, it’s a Liberal trait. It’s called Liberal privilege.

      1. The LPC and other progressives derivatives of Marxism have always been and shall forever be (in your) back (pocket).

    2. You noticed too.

I think it is their puffed up sense of smug moral superiority. Then later when their narcissism is combined with a taste of real power they feel vindicated and go a little apeshit.

They really are the enemy of the people. 90% of repeaters* could disappear overnight and society would be better off for it.

*someone on here called them “repeaters, not reporters” the other day. Love it.

      1. Some of us have been calling them repeaters for years. Not just the Ceeb, LCTV, Glowbull, but throughout the corrupt world of the media.
        Talking Heads.
        Mediots.
Lots of nice names for them.
There are compilation videos on YT showing multiple talking heads making the exact same report as each other. Sad but a bit funny too.

  3. I will always bring this up whenever I see his name raise it’s shameless head, this the same Seamus O’Regan that excoriated Rob Ford when he went into rehab, then later checked into the same clinic, for his own alcoholism treatment! Cry me a red river, buddy!

  4. Pandering to indians seems to be about Liberal politicians throwing money around. Especially at election time. Seamus was in Ontario the other day giving a small indian band on an island ten million dollars for a new ferry. I label the story, fairy announces a ferry.

  5. My tablet cannot follow the twitter feed, since I do not follow twitter. Could someone tell me exactly what is going on?

    1. O’Regan deleted his tweet, so we only have a screenshot.

The second — from a Marc Garneau parody account — is live. (You don’t need a Twitter account to read embedded tweets.)

      1. for a brief moment I thought it really was garno responding.
such is speed reading and a tad reduction in vision from being a senior.
        heh heh.

gawd I love this site for the rich Cdn style humour which is best when based on real events and real people.
        especially liberals.

    2. David,
If you go through ‘chrome’ it’s a no go; try using ‘Firefox.’

That said, you aren’t missing much. It’s about Seamus O’Regan’s tweet, and about CTV’s Robert Fife mocking him on Twitter and then on TV.

      Seamus tweets:
“Leaving Northern Saskatchewan there are things that are clear to me. That the road to Reconciliation is one that we must walk together.
      That it continues on.”

      Fife’s tweet goes:
“Look at me. I’m @SeamusORegan & I’m flying on a private jet & I really feel the plight of Canada’s indigenous people where unemployed on reserves is 26% in Northern Saskatchewan.”

Then there is a repetitive CTV clip of Bob Fife saying to two other Co Hosts of their Sunday morning talkfest the following in a mocking tone about Seamus:
” Some people call him shameless O’Regan, I think that’s probably an ‘eff,’ apt phrase for him.” (said “eff” not the full word, mockingly)

Looks like Robert Fire is no fan of Seamus O’Regan, remember that Seamus used to work on Canada AM at the same channel, no doubt they know each other. So, this is a case one big shot calling another big shot, a big shot, with a bit of sarcasm.

The rest are some mocking replies to Seamus O’ Regan, something about a parody cabinet. If you try again you’ll see it is not anything like it has some terribly important content, it is rather quite forgettable. Hope this is of some help to you, DM.

        1. You’re welcome, Ken K

Just FYI – Re: Part 2
I just read through the Marky Marc Garneu @ParodyCabinet’s other tweets. It is pretty zany. Here goes:

          • That said, there are some CBC clips that I never saw as I don’t usually watch that channel. The ones that were mildly informative were of Justin being interviewed by Rosie Barton. It was total fluff, must’ve been something at the end of the year, they were walking outside in the cold. Trudeau said that once he is done politics there will be no more politics for him. He said that he is, in fact, a ‘teacher’ or could’ve run a school instead. (His latest reading: books like “The Patch” by Chris Turner and was starting ” A Column of Fire” by Ken Follett.) (No time for government stuff?)

          • Another clip was of Freeland expressing disappointment in JWR for quitting the Cabinet. (so what, she is not the PM)
          ________________________________________________________________

All nonsense aside, this greedy thief named Trudeau and
this very evil Federal Government are stealing billions of dollars from Western Canada and giving multi billions annually to Quebec. I’m surprised their streets aren’t paved with gold. Bet the Trudeau Foundation is doing well, Grandpa Charlie and Papa Trudeau would be very proud.

Western Canada should stop sending them these multi billion dollar cash gifts in exchange for their insults. We will all be better off. Not going to happen though, they own us.

    3. Lord Shameless O’Regan has noticed the plight of the lowly Aboriginal from the exquisite viewpoint of his private jet as he struggles with the weighty responsibilities that are his and his alone. His notice has been noticed. Being noticed by one with such power and pedigree is not insignificant.

From the Liberal farm team, the Canadian Media, to gay, rehabbed Librano Cabinet Minister, Lord Shameless is but a lesbian relationship short of Librano political perfection. Maybe, a la Obama or Pocahauntas, he can discover some black Irish ancestry.

Smarter than your average Duffy, more entitled than a Dingwall; woke, feminized and Canadian Media fertilized; Lord Shameless and his Buttly crew, led by the inutile Junior know how deplorable you are.

      Do you?

  6. I suggest a complete reconciliation by getting all indians off all reserve property and letting them work for their daily bread and pay taxes as opposed to receiving them.

  7. Not sure what the point is. If it is reconcilliation, what for? Unemployed used to be 100% three hundred years ago and scraping together food was done with stone and bone tools. What was their sanitation like come to that.

    1. This is one glaring example where help is adding to the problems. Money tossed at problems without any direction or accountability will never work in this situation.

    2. Smells like O-Shamus is trying to squirm back into the limelight like a typical narcissist always does.

    1. “The military says it’s not accurate, however, to price the trips using the National Defence Department’s full cost accounting for CC-144 Challenger jets – currently pegged at $14,891 a flying hour – because these include costs that are incurred regardless of whether the flights took place.”

What a stupid statement. Of course you match costs with use. I guess the biggest airforce expense is parking. Stupid, stupid people.

      1. Hmm, yes the aircrew is paid anyway, but there are additional hours put on the aircraft, which has a price, as does the fuel and additional maintenance out of hours in the air.

There are fixed and variable costs; not exactly rocket science folks. From the horse’s mouth, in 2011 (not that dated?):

“412 (T) Squadron maintains its own current tables on the cost of flying the CC-144 Challenger, an aircraft assigned to transporting senior government officials, providing command and liaison, and conducting medical evacuations. The 412 Squadron Challenger Fleet Annual Cost Chart contains the actual variable and fixed costs for fiscal year (FY) 2010/2011, and more precise estimated variable and fixed costs for FY 2011/2012. Based on 412’s planned maintenance program and a projected Yearly Flying Rate of 3,440 hours, the FY 2011/2012 current planned variable cost for the Challenger is $3,285 per hour, as opposed to the $2,631 planning figure indicated in the Cost Factors Manual (the manual is updated annually with the best available data).”

As with the Cost Factors Manual, 412 Squadron breaks the costs into two groups. Variable Cost includes all operating costs such as aircraft maintenance costs, fuel, aircraft handling and landing fees, crew costs while flying, catering, and incidentals. The second category is Fixed Costs which include crew salaries, rental fees, special services fees, pilot training, office communication, supplies, and amortization of capital. The DND/CF use variable costs for planning and reporting purposes, since the only incremental cost to DND is the one associated with the flying of the aircraft.”

Maybe the aircraft could be using up flying hours doing useful things for the military and the country?

Trough swilling limousine liberals need to go, even if “Leaving on a Jet Plane.” Don’t know when they’ll be back again.

    1. He’s not alone… he has a paid photographer on the same jet ensuring that every last bit of his hard work is documented.

  8. I blame his Mother. She should have swallowed. I like being politically correct. It’s the new me.

  9. Liberals showcasing their brand of Sanctimonious Drivel.
Entitled – Arrogant – Corrupt as always, do as I say and certainly not as I do.

PissTanks’ comment could have been written by any one of those Entitled Scumbags: David Suzuki, Adrian Clarkson, Pamela Wallin being prime examples.

Strange that they all resemble & imitate 17th Century French aristocracy eh..?? I wonder why that is…?

  10. you all seem to miss the bit where Shameless brags about CHARTERING in to
La Ronge (Cause you have to he says)
Mark G posts La Ronge Aviation’s schedule.
This is comedy of the Moose stew/fish stew chief.
The Oatmeal savage;”CBC tells us a woman is on a month long hungerstrike,Erza counts her chins”.

  11. My god there are people on twitter who think Fife is a conservative. Anyone who thinks that should look back at the 2008 campaign.

    1. I agree. Although he does hide his Liberal affiliations quite well on occasion. He is no CNN Jim Acosta.

I also love the caption. You have to think about it for a bit and then the light goes on.

  12. is this going to translate into ALL native communities FINALLY getting RELIABLE source of drinking water?
    no?
when is that gonna happen? CONservatists have had lots and lots and lots of chances, LIEberals even more.

bastards. all of them. including the ‘native run casino’ cabal.

  13. It’s a Liberal trait to which journalists are apt to aspire. Journalists tend to be nariissistic and fascinated with power. And they don’t like responsibility.

  14. Malaysian pilots’ reputation has suffered somewhat from events in recent years. It is good to see someone recognizes they still have the potential to make a useful contribution.

  15. What is that word for having different rules and laws for folks of a specific race, and having them live separately?

Oh yeah, apartheid. Alive and well in Canada. All Mr. O’Regan’s trip up there proved is that you can get liquor service on a charter and not on the scheduled flight.

  16. The only thing missing from Mr O’Regan’s disaster of a tweet was him exclaiming “Oh, look. I can see the Highway of Tears from here!”
