    1. Danielle Smith should STFU and never be seen or heard from in public again. If she had just done her damn job for another six months, today she’d be gearing up for re-election as Premier Smith. Instead, by spitting in the faces of those who voted Wild Rose, we got saddled with Notley’s motley crew and saw the Alberta economy destroyed, probably for generations.

      1. Danielle Smith has been demonstrated, by her own actions, to be entirely without any sort of sense whatsoever.

        1. I hope Smith at least got some personal satisfaction by blowing Jim Prentice and giving Alberta 4 years of Marxism.

      2. I have no problem with Danielle doing a radio show.

As for politics, she made a decision based on what she believed. IMHO she is fiscally conservative and socially in the centre.

So “she should STFU?” No way. The people who want people to STFU tend to come from the far left. For example look at what Nutley is trying to do to the Rebel.

In my opinion, politically she made a mistake when she crossed over to join with Prentice. It helped split the vote. Hey, I couldn’t bring myself to support Prentice primarily due to personal experience in dealing with him. This means I am partially responsible for Nutley getting in, as is everyone who voted Wild Rose and Conservative. We split the vote. For a variety of reasons we all allowed the centre-right union to collapse.

IMHO the left in Canada appeals to more people than the right does. Success in getting elected always depends on who wins the centre. Conservatives who say unite the right need to realize this. If conservatives don’t appeal to centrist leaning voters, we will be condemned to sitting on the opposition benches, while we watch wave after wave of country destroying leftist legislation being passed.

      3. She sold out her party and her province for the proverbial mess of pottage. Thanks for nothing.

  1. Hahahahaha … I found my starter wife in the Wife Zone with the added bonus of her wanting to reproduce like a bunny rabbit on sex hormones … but her crazy quotient spiked unexpectedly above the limit line, and she stole everything I owned and left no forwarding address. Oh well next wife (of 34 years) came out of the Dating Zone. Much safer pool to play in.

BUZZFEED BUST: ‘Bombshell’ Trump Story Debunked By Mueller’s Office

A so-called ‘bombshell’ story by BuzzFeed, claiming that Donald Trump ordered Michael Cohen to lie to Congress, has been directly debunked by the office of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

  3. Christie Blatchford: There may be toxic men, but traditional masculinity is quite glorious

L- now if all the women, who think like Christie Blatchford, would flood social media, phone-in shows and letters-to-the editor and organize celebrations, say for Father’s Day, St. Valentine’s Day, Labour Day weekend.

Then the inflated misandry of the noisy ones, who dominate the MSM and Hollywood, would be seen for over-hyped, small minority of radical, nihilists, they are.

Of course, having the majority vote for an alpha male, who knows that roofs, walls, fences and borders are built, by men, to protect the vulnerable women and children inside, whom they love. That can send a pretty clear message, too.

Justin Trudeau’s promotion of Sharia law in Canada is the result of the 2015 fall election. How is that working for you? Of course, almost no one will admit to ever voting for Justin Trudeau these days. Unemployed energy sector breadwinners are unable to build, maintain and protect very much.

L- Joe Hazelton, the Maritimer commentator sees the Liberal push is for political censorship of the internet and the blatant hypocrisy of Minister of Public Safety, Ralph Goodale.

    1. If you have good long term disability at work, stay plugged into the machine keeping you alive, payday will still be every two weeks. Once the machines are turned off, the money stops. Keeping an income for my family is more important than keeping some stranger alive. No rush to delve into the life insurance.

  5. wish I knew about this in 1973.
only time I bought my ex cut flowers she told me to get a refund.
I had to hit the reset button on my understanding of women. to this day I havent figured them out
and stopped trying. there is logic and there is female logic.
that concept needs a chart as well.

    1. Not good. I am sure it is just window dressing and an attempt to make sure they do not alienate the Chinese community. Dumping Wang for playing identity politics, when that’s what Liberals do all the time, was utter hypocrisy. The Chinese community should be enraged.

      1. Linda, Jagmeet Singh has this by-election win in the bag. The corporate media cartel, pro-liberal as they are, will be saying sweet things about the dear NDP leader, since, with him leading the NDP, this will guarantee Justin Trudeau’s victory this fall. Everything is falling into place, eh?

    1. The issues of building more pipelines and building refineries in Alberta are related but different. The need for export oil pipelines is well documented by the discount applied to Alberta heavy oil. However, contrary to what labour unions and the Alberta NDP assert, Alberta doesn’t need more refineries. We have a small population and a small market for refined products. Gasoline and jet fuel are volatile, don’t batch well and are not in demand in most of the places that are close enough to Alberta to be shipped from here. Building more refineries would just turn the current Alberta oil glut into a gasoline/jet fuel glut. Until recently, nobody had built a refinery here for the last 45 years for that reason. We ship Alberta oil to places like the U.S. Gulf Coast because they want it as refinery feedstock, to replace Mexican and Venezuelan crude. They don’t want or need gasoline. If we make too much gasoline in Alberta, we just wreck the profitability of our existing refineries, because there’s no place to which we can export it. Many believe that the way over budget, Northwest Upgrader about to come on line will not be needed and will damage the diesel market.
