There Goes The Narrative!

Related: A San Diego television station on Thursday said that CNN had asked for a “local view” and then “declined to hear from us” after past reports from the station showed that a border wall was effective.

  1. Before PDJT … the GOPe would look at numbers like this and quickly back-down from wall funding. The GOPe would say they “needed” more Democrap support … and that … ohhhhh mammmmma … the Independents were 100% divided on the subject, and the GOPe are DESPERATE to woo every “Independent” voter possible. That the Party must … “run to the middle” in order to succeed.

Stay STRONG President Trump. Finally … a (R) who DOES what NEEDS to be done!!

      1. A virtual wall of Warthogs! Fabulous! Obama’s Generals tried to eliminate this fantastic killing machine … I’ll bet they can incinerate multiple coyotes in one strafing run

  2. I don’t get why they don’t allow the 5 billion to build some of the wall…peanuts for the USA. You can always remove the wall in the future if it doesn’t satisfy objectives.

    1. The only reason the Dems will remove the wall will be because it DOES satisfy objectives. Remember, they’re not Undocumented Immigrants… they’re Undocumented Democrats!

  3. Google LA’s 100 most wanted, or any other city in the southern states and tell me they don’t have a problem with Mexican “tourists”.

      1. Kenji, THAT was an eye-opener! Seems almost every “most wanted” in LA is either Hispanic, ME, or some other swarthy complexion! I guess Cheech Marin wasn’t your typical Hispanic.

Btw, what in hell is wrong with your white criminals are they too small time to make the MW list?

    1. Why don’t you take a look at Toronto’s Most Wanted, or Montreal’s Most Wanted, or Vancouver’s Most Wanted. That’ll be an eye-opener for you.

But please don’t forget diversity is our strength

      1. Geez, Mr.G., Vancouver’s MW was three white guys! But good old Toronto restored my faith, 7 of 11 MW’s are Middle easterners, while the other four are black.

Montreal’s MW list is MUCH more diverse, with several white folks included. Way to go Montreal.

Winnipeg’s MW list appears to be 8/8 First Nations! Have to laugh at the first guy in the Winnipeg list, a Mr.Bone, who is wanted on a Canada wide arrest warrant, for buggering off to parts unknown after only TEN days on parole. Lol! “BONE was released from custody on Statutory Release on October 5th, 2018, but only made it until October 15th before breaching his conditions.” Gee,who’d have ever imagined the guy would breach parole.

It just occurred to me, there are so few white guys on the MW list because they have either gone into white collar crime or politics.

        1. Politics is White Collar Crime in Canada and the US.

In many other countries, Politics are barely suppressed violent crime.

But thanks to our increasing sophistication, politics in the US and Canada will soon be like the rest of the world. Just ask Antifa, BLM, and International ANSWER.

    2. There is no positive correlation between immigration and crime. Indeed, it appears there’s a negative one.

          1. I see you fell for the ‘immigrant’ vs ‘illegal alien’ trap again……bait and switch
….which one does the wall keep out?

          2. you’re pathetic…
When you group illegals in with all immigrants…of course you get a low crime rate…the vast majority of immigrants come in legally
…and no one over staying a visa is smuggling drugs…and people over staying visas had to give ID to get the visa

The wall is to keep out people that do not get a visa, do not meet the requirements, smuggle drugs, bring in disease and parasites, criminals that can not get a visa, people that have been deported and keep coming back, gangs…etc

….If you take the crime rate from just illegals, that cross the border and enter this country illegally…sometimes again and again and again

…of course that’s also ignoring the obvious….anyone crossing the border illegally…coming into this country illegally
..committed a crime, is a criminal…that is a crime they do not count

Do you think in their precious little crime survey…..they counted every illegal as committing a crime?

          3. “It doesn’t matter because neither one leads to more crime.”

…more is relative…..if there were zero illegals…there would be zero crime committed by illegals

Is our crime rate higher because of illegals?…of course it is

          4. 1. Build two walls, one on annexed Mexican territory.
            2. Place minefields between the walls.
            3. Throw wetbacks and UnMes between the walls.
            4. Drop melee weapons.
            5. Sell pay per view.
            6. Use proceeds from the pay per view to pay for the wall.

There, problem solved, as a bonus UnMes are put to productive use for once in their pathetic worthless lives.

          5. Hahahaha … no trailer parks in my zip code … not that there’d be anything wrong with that. You are such a typical leftist … pretending their superiority by inventing a slack-jawed opponent. Hey dude! That’s a mental illness. Delusions of grandeur.

      1. “There is no positive correlation between immigration and crime. ”

In the future, could you replace the above by “standard lie #1” in order to save space when you bull$hit?

  4. Just this morning I heard a supposedly neutral Political Science prof state that less then 25% of Americans are concerned about the southern border. So many lies!!!

    1. Robert, 2004 study done by UofT showed that 87% of NA uni profs and the profs of affiliate colleges were lefties. So 14 years down the road, a non-partisan prof is a rare beast. Just saying!!!

  5. So if even 19% of Democrats think that the border situation is a crisis … why are they still Democrats?

    1. Because, they are probably of the cohort that because they were raised in a union household, and they always voted democrat, they stay as democrats.

  6. The headline downplays the results. 79% of all respondents and 71% of Democrats think it’s at least a problem. There aren’t a whole lot of issues that you can get nearly 80% of Americans to agree on. Why is the Democratic party ignoring the concerns of an overwhelming majority of the party membership?

    1. Why are the Democrats ignoring their supporters?
      1) So Trump doesn’t have a win.
      2) They’re stupid.

  7. LOL plurality =/= majority.

You can yell ‘crisis’ as much as you want; the only crisis on the US border is the heavy hand of the USG. That’s the only problem.

        1. That little thing about providing for the common defense … which doesn’t specifically speak about nuclear weapons either. Next!!

    1. Thanks for showing your idiocy and cognitive dissonance. Stay in your trailer and watch out for Ricky and Bubbles!

  8. It’s never getting built. The American people spoke loud and clear last November: no interest in a wall or Trumpism in general.

    1. unDork/Lass, you are the most disconnected, from reality , asshole that posts in here. Having taken my IE, and graduated with very high mark in a high achievers course, I can tell that yes, there is a very tight correlation between “immigrants” and crime. I am an immigrant, and many of my friends are from the Caribbean, and they agree that there is a problem in their demographic. Fact is my landlord is from Jamaica ,and is a personal friend who I knew for 15 years before he bought here. And yup, he agrees. First black guy in a town near here, I sponsored to Canada, and he WARNED about importing the problem, You need to learn to STFU when your ignorance of facts rule the day, now FO asshole!

        1. would that be the same liberals that said it’s ok to legalize drugs….because only a few people go on to do harder drugs?

        2. unDork, posting to fact free, without context lefty shit rag, proves nothing. The trick they use is lumping ALL immigrants together. Most legal immigrants are hard working. “refugees” and illegals are a different ball or wax. Your bias is harming your ability to reason. Illegals have broken the law as they illegally arrive.

          1. Besides, crime rates vary with demographics of US citizens. And turd worlders have much higher crime rates than low crime US demographics. It is only the ghetto scum that has crime rates higher than immigrants.

        3. Except for the people who commit crimes and are in the country when they shouldn’t be – 100% of them btw.

Tell that to the victims of these criminals whose lost family members would still be alive. You have no compassion.

        4. Facts do not always rule. Take violent deaths in the USA. Out of the 15,129 killed in 2017 over 50% were black, almost all of them killed by blacks. It is hard to reconcile any immigrant influence in such statistics (facts as you call them). In the Hispanic and Latino culture there is a tendency to prey on one’s own. The victims rarely go to police so there are no “facts” on these people. It is even higher (criminal acts) within the immigrant community because these people cannot go to the police and the criminals know this.

Look at the homicide rate in Latin American countries like Honduras. It’s 5-10 times higher than in the USA. These are the immigrants coming through the Mexican border. Do you really believe they will leave their behavior behind them (statistically speaking)?

    2. immigration was an important issue to voters, not the top though; that means their vote was “loud and clear” on immigration?

You don’t get to decide why people voted what they voted. Cherry pick whatever you want; none of us are mind readers.

Show us all how they voted for “no wall,” the current DeMarxist position.

All anyone can truly impute is they voted for a House or Senate candidate. Trump was not even on the ballot.

BTW, in 2016 they voted for Trump who repeatedly stated he would “built the wall.” That’s stronger than your “thesis.”

    3. Ahhhh ha ha ha ha … that’s like saying Occasional-Cortex is … “the new voice of the Democrap Party”. She’s already been spanked and put to bed by Nancy Pelosi.

    1. Yup, unDork doesn’t understand Trump, who happens to have a pretty hi IQ, and a great ability to out maneuver fools!

        1. No man. You’re just retarded. Trump doesn’t even say anything he just spouts word salads and lets retards like you read into it whatever you want to read into it. You’re not sophisticated or difficult to manipulate.

Oh and it’s not getting built. That ship was probably never in dock but it has most definitely sailed out to sea. Midterms

          1. Calling others “retards.” You should consider a career in comedy or some disinformation bureau.

Maybe you should hold out for the ignorant bigots improv night. I understand Justin is headlining.

          2. You do know that there is a wall already there, right? The wall is already built. Trump just wants to make it longer and higher.

        2. Oh, you must have just missed Ralph Klein. He’s the only politician I’ve seen to ever poll in the 80% approval range. No censor on him for quite a while.

      1. What amazes me is folks like Undork actually think they’re smarter than Trump.

That’s why he beats them, because they’re smarter than him.

I’ve got a parade square for sale you might consider buying, or perhaps a do it yourself burial at sea shovel kit.

  9. Cytotoxic

From the poll: 42% (833)-border crisis, 37% (727)-problem, 12% (235)-The United States is not facing a problem or crisis with illegal immigration from Mexico, 10% (94)-don’t know, out of 1989 Registered Voters. That’s called a majority not a plurality. I think that puts you in the 12% category.
From the same poll, those in favour of the wall totaled 44%, opposed, 47% and don’t know, 9%. That’s a roughly a split opinion rather than showing “no interest in the wall”.

    1. The key word was ‘crisis’.

You’re also failing to take into account non-response. Many people just don’t care. This is for the small ever-indignant and outraged cluster that is Trump’s base.

      1. How do you know that?

Don’t reference your anti-Trump bigotry, mind reading ability or overall ignorance as evidence please.

      2. UnMe, many people just don’t care about polls. That doesn’t mean they don’t care. That is why Trump is President and Hillary is not. She won the polls and he won the election.

        1. It’s not a crisis, it’s only a problem, so all those crimes are manufactured by bigots who can’t see what isn’t there.

Not counting the ones who do think it’s a crisis, that is. Unologic and rationale for shutting down the government.

Last time I looked, that was Congress’ responsibility, not Trump’s.

They’re losing this one and resorting to ludicrous arguments.

Remember Trump is lying when he states 23% of federal inmates are illegal immigrants, it’s only 19.3%!

Meanwhile the mediocracy managed to scrape up one Trump supporter who is being hurt by the shutdown.

Please Mr. President, bring them back, sell off my birthright, my liberty and my safety, pleeeease!!!

  10. The only question I have is how long Nancy will remain as speaker and spokeswoman for the demoncraps. It seems the demoncraps leadership have taken the party in the wrong direction. Losing to Trump is likely worse than giving in to Trump.

  11. “Negotiator-in-Chief.” Ha!

TRUMP: We’re building the wall and Mexico’s paying for it!

    MEXICO: No chance.

TRUMP: We’re building the wall, we’ll pay for it for now, and Mexico will reimburse us later!

REPUBLICAN-CONTROLLED CONGRESS (2017-2018): Not on our watch, thank you.

    TRUMP: Fine, let’s move on.

    COULTER: Gutless…

TRUMP: We’re building the wall and American taxpayers will pay for it!

DEMOCRAT-CONTROLLED HOUSE: Nope, it’s an ineffective waste of money.

TRUMP: Fine, I’ll manufacture a crisis, declare a national emergency (despite the situation on the ground not having appreciably changed), build the wall myself, and make American taxpayers pay for it.

    1. Review the new trade deal between Mexico and the USA. Ask yourself “Is the US paying for this new deal, or is Mexico paying?”. I’m not an expert on trade deals but it looks to me like Trump’s new deal is more a benefit to the US than the previous one. Let’s wait for the deal with China. Then we’ll see how much of a moron Trump is. On the economy Trump has grown the US GDP by 2-3% (actual) on the back of a strong dollar. Other countries like Canada have seen similar growth but at a cost of 30% decline in our dollar. That is a recession in USD.

      1. Tariffs between the US and Mexico were zero under NAFTA, and they’ll be zero under USMCA. So, no new direct trade revenue.

Is the argument that USMCA will yield more economic activity in the US (e.g., manufacturing jobs), resulting in more tax revenue for the federal government? OK, even if there is an incremental increase in economic output (assumption 1, probability high) sufficient to produce enough new tax revenue to pay for the wall (assumption 2, probability low), it’s not like that incremental increase comes directly at Mexico’s expense. It’s still just American taxpayers footing the bill, in the end. USMCA is merely NAFTA 2.0, a tweaked and modernized version of the same. Within each country, there are economic winners and losers from one industry to the next, but there’s no clear single winner and loser among the three countries overall.

    2. You’re right, battling climate change is the existential threat – now there’s a manufactured crisis for you.
