And I like a place where one can showcase what one hasn’t found anywhere else, before it becomes forbidden.
Blazing Cat Fur comes in a close second.
So – G.M. announces plans to close Ontario plant, some call center is closing in the one of the East coast provinces, People I know are working in oil services are going through their fifth round of layoffs and all the oil related capital spending plans are being significantly cut and we are supposed to believe 94000 mostly full time jobs were created last month of which 26000 were in Alberta. I believe it’s time to by a high visibility vest if you don’t have one .
They were government paper pushing jobs. Now the government will bring in more laws and regulations so there will be paper for these people to push.
Yes I found that number a little at odds with my understanding. Also, it represents 1 million jobs a year! We must be booming! Or is it the US?
I thought also that I could smell some of that stuff I used haul to the fields and spread around. My next thought was, ‘More government loafers on staff’.
Re Canada signing the UN migration pact.
Louise Arbour is one of those leading the charge for the UN pact and who claims the Compact is non-binding.
“It creates no right to migrate. It places no imposition on states… It is not legally binding,” she told reporters on Sunday.
However, Ms Arbour you know full well that Canada’s Immigrant and Refugee Protection Act section (3) states that “it is to be construed and applied in a manner that…(f) complies with international human rights instruments to which Canada is a signatory.”
Now good reader what do you think a Canadian court will do with the above? Will they side with Justin Turdeau’s photo op comments that it is not legally binding? Or will they say the government signing the treaty clearly signifies intent? Of course they could do neither and just point to section section 3 sub-paragraph f shown above.
We have a lot of leftist lying going on here.
Ms Arbour you should be ashamed of your deceitfulness. Oh I’m sorry it’s not lying or deceit cause it depends on your definition of “is”.
Good find Joe… you know the open borders Nation destroying Migration plan is worse than can even be imagined with the knowledge that the Globalist autocrats had to conspire a mendacious narrative as their only means of selling the plan to those it affects most…. The end justifies the means… Post National State here we come.
Those of us who are against this pact are “racist”, so sayeth Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen and Justin Trudeau.
That is no surprise of course, it’s their attempt to shut down all discussion with that one accusation.
We are in for quite interesting times with this band of incompetents we elected to take care of the affairs of this country that affect us all
Sad to say but next week the discussion here could get us all hauled in front of a human rights tribunal.
Mr J Turdeau you will NOT silence me!
Yeah, nothing like being called a “racist’ by a Somali immigrant who holds a job as Immigration Minister of Trudopia simply because he has the right colour of skin… what a “gracious” man… I suspect Hussan is the real racist and has no clue of irony… maybe I could go and live in that wonderful shithole of tolerance and openness called Somalia become a Government stooge and then lecture Somalis on what a bunch of racists they are if they don’t agree with me … that would work out real well for me I’m sure, yep, right up until the point they drag me out onto a dirt road and chop my head off that is. Lets face it, nowhere is more civilized and tolerant than effing Somalia. I guess we’re just not submissive enough for our Somali master. Fck you Hussen! Fck you sideways!
No Iinternational treaty or agreement is “legallty binding” as there is no “international law”. That would require a global government and police force.
You are correct, technically.
But my point is existing Canadian legislation will be used to enforce the new UN migration compact. Note sub-section f above which says “complies with international human rights instruments”. When Canada signs the migration pact, Canada signs an international human rights instrument.
This slight of hand by the government is deliberate. Ms Arbour very familiar with Canadian law, so in this manner she is also attempting to pull the wool over our eyes. The media have not figured this out, or are also complicit. OMG Collusion!
I watch the Broadcast of the Canadian Supreme Court of Canada, when a case involves Hunan Rights they always have a UN group who advises the Court…..A cluster of failed Nations (UN) have opinions that may fit Africa & Palestine problems but are moronic for nations with the rule of law…..The SCOC decisions frequently follow the recommendations of the presentations by the UN group “think” (Hearsay, AKA BS).
YES! Ms Arbour is a conniving liar, but not that bright ( saw her babble on MONK debates)
And where is the Useless Official Opposition taking up your point Joe. He ain’t he is Trudeau’s Cuck. His willing Handmaiden in this Traitorous act.
Yes, but that “interpretation” door swings both ways. International law is anarchic, except when it isn’t.
I can recall PET dismissing as nonsense the idea that his pet constitutional repatriation would give power to activist judges.
The signed it for a reason, just like the Charter of Rights (not responsibilities). I trust them not.
the scoc has already allowed unlimited immigration to Canada. just walk in and you qualify for all Canada has to offer and more than a Canadian can possibly get. that is a fact of life in Canada. Trudeau just added to an already idiotic system. Canadians are STUPID.
old white guy you are correct. However right now economic migrants have to go through a two year process to get their cases heard. Some are not allowed to stay. Many have established enough “roots” that they are allowed to stay.
As soon as the UN migration compact is signed, immigration lawyers will use Canadian law (section 3 referenced above) which is quite clear. The economic immigrants will be allowed to stay. From Turdeau’s point of view he can now say “the immigration backlog is now cleared, aren’t I great”
the percentage that are not allowed to stay is so small it cannot be viewed on graph.
If ‘…the Compact is non-binding. “It creates no right to migrate. It places no imposition on states… It is not legally binding,” …’
Why should we bother to sign it? Why does it exist? If there is any good in it that we could do and that we wish to do, we can do it anyway, whether other countries sign or not, comply or not. If we are a sovereign, independent nation, we can choose to treat refugees, migrants, immigrants as well as we wish, we don’t need any permission or instruction from other countries or from international organizations.
But if there are politicians and bureaucrats who want to wield our authority and spend our resources to do things in and to our country and they don’t believe the majority of us would agree with those things, one way to get around their obligation to us would be to entangle the nation in an external obligation say our hands are tied, we must live up to this international law or commitment. What would that look like? Coincidence! It would look just like what we are seeing in this UN “Compact.”
,
And it’s never lying unless is for a good cause, such as whatever the left wants.
Marxist ‘truth’ is whatever advances the agenda.
Arbour has always been a radical leftist.
Obvious question….. if it means nothing (as we are constantly assured) why bother signing it?
I too am very concerned about this. The Globe suggests that nothing in the 23 commitments represents anything that we are not already doing — true, and what we are already doing is very concerning. We are totally in line with the UN globalist agenda — calling our country “post national” and changing the name of foreign affairs to global affairs are important indicators of the Liberal’s plan. All of this supports the globalists agenda for one-world government. Among the nasty tactics are destroying national identity — certainly revision of our history and downplaying the important accomplishments of our ancestors is happening in Canada. Even the 150th did not include Canadian history as a theme. The naivest of people will believe this is for the good of the world. It is not. We cannot solve 3rd world problems. We can take in some migrants who are truly in danger and we have done this systematically in the past.
Under Liberals who and how many we take in is being directed by the UN. And of course the system is being abused by illegal border crossers. If you check into the Nigerian phenomenon, most (like 80% or so) are claiming they are bisexual as a way to get to stay, and of course many have sufficient money to pay those operating this network. This is nonsense.
For Trudeau to suggest that those objecting to the pact are racist is abominable. Surely any thinking person realizes that immigration needs to be a well-thought out and systematic process that places priorities on strategies that optimize use of dollars and ensure effective integration for new-comers. The Liberals are turning Canada into a bunch of balkanized special interest groups. While token acknowledgement of our traditional holidays still happens (I am pretty sure the PM will wish Christians a happy Christmas) we are regularly getting missives from the PM’s office about celebrating every last UN sanctioned commemoration. Today (or maybe tomorrow) we are celebrating the UN Human Rights. We celebrate Women’s Days and equality days . . . on and on. We are very close to being a UN vassal state. Most Liberal government policies (e.g. aboriginal, women’s agenda, carbon tax, etc.) come directly from the UN. Many of our tax dollars are supporting UN causes as the expense of Canadian needs. Trudeau, of course, is just a figure-head — a puppet controlled by forces elsewhere. Canadians just do not yet realize this.
My objection to the Pact has nothing to do with immigration on its own — like most Canadians, I have no problems with immigrants. My issue is with the globalist, one-world government agenda that is pushing world integration of peoples and undermining nation states. Someone is paying for all these migrants to move. This is not a conspiracy theory as some might claim. It is very well documented for anyone who cares to look. It is also a long-standing plan and the corrupt UN is a major tool for implementation. Once you become aware of this it becomes clear that the Liberals are instrumental in implementing a sinister plan. A one-world government is necessarily totalitarian. Canadians who do not see this are like a bunch of boiling frogs.
When it comes to human rights in say Cuba, the Canadian left votes with Iran and North Korea!
For more insight into how the globalist agenda works, a good book is: The Shadows of Power: The Council on Foreign Relations and the American Decline by James Perloff. It is well written, well documented and a real eye-opener. The mischief has been going on for a very long time. Among other things, we find out that Wall Street funded the Bolsheviks. Really, it all makes sense, and the perpetrators for these nefarious schemes have not gone away.
No, the voters did. And they loved Clinton, flaws and all. Perot didn’t have a cuddly bone in his body, unfortunately.
he might not have been ‘cuddly’, but I read that when he was running his software outfit, he DID stoop to be among the serfs, waiting his turn in the cafeteria line. where no doubt he could get a daily feedback on various and sundry company issues.
‘cuddly’=/= APPROACHABLE
https://nationalpost.com/news/public-online-directory-of-veterans-affairs-staff-made-secret-because-of-safety-concerns-department-says
‘There was also an obsession with security among VAC staff, with significant security measures put in place, including secure doors, escape plans and hidden alarm code systems installed on desks, said Westholm, who during his job visited a number of department offices. “Many of the VAC Offices I’ve been to have more security than a bank and this is, I’m sure, not lost on veterans who must attend these offices for support,” he added.’
The Globe and Smell reports good news for Quebec. They will receive an additional boost of 1.4 billion dollars in equalization payments. I’m sure it has nothing to do with the upcoming election. Meanwhile Alberta and Sask. will get nothing. Also to punish Ford, Ontario will get nothing for the first time in ten years.
Maybe Rachel could save her Legacy in Alberta history. Schedule a vote on a new Republic of Alberta before the election call, or, better yet, the SAME DAY. She is finished as Alberta Premier either way, but she might become a hero to Albertans. I get the feeling watching her leaving Montreal last week, she had just learned a VALUABLE lesson. You cannot trust a Liberal. As soon as you can’t do anything for him, YOU DON’T MATTER!!!
This is a very important lesson for every CANADIAN to understand.
Of the $19 billion in equalization payments Quebec will receive $11.7 billion (62% for one province).
I would imagine the Canadian Veterans Affairs department would be a regular government office with a bunch of paperpushers pushing paper around. I am sure this engenders a feeling of WTF? in every soldier that walks in the building. I am sure that they all fill out that paperwork with the greatest of care – because any friggin’ typo means another friggin’ month without help. Isn’t government wonderful? That is a rhetorical question.
The wheels can turn very slowly at Veterans Affairs, even for an old veteran entering long term care.
it’s deliberate.
BOTH CONservatists AND LIEberals hired a phalanx of lawyers to fight fight fight the class action suit re mismanaged pension money. google it. especially members of the harper fan club.
didja get that? BOTH of them, harper the bully AND the TURDoo on the same side AGAINST veterans.
one of the tactics is to wait until the ill vets die off, thus ‘saving’ money.
BOTH of them. CONS and LIARS.
welcome to Canadistan, land of bullies and liars.
While visiting Australia in November I watched Sky News.
On November 19, 2018 I watched Steven Harper interviewed by Peta Credlin on a Sky News political show, Credlin. It was an excellent interview. Ms. Credlin asked astute questions and gave Harper the time to answer them without interuption. That’s something you don’t usually see on Canadian media. Her follow-up questions were equally thoughtful. I wish we had someone of her caliber in Canadian media.
FYI: Peta Credlin is the former Chief of Staff to Australia’s former PM, Tony Abbott.
Yesterday, I was flying to my house in B. C. I glanced at CBC Newsthingy that was playing on the TV in the departure lounge.
One headline that scrolled across the bottom of the screen caught my eye. Apparently Red Rachel’s “defence” of Alberta has helped increase her popularity. Say what? I’ve yet to meet anyone who supports her. Even people in NE B. C. see the writing’s on the wall for her.
But, if it’s on the CBC, it must be true, right?
It is generally known as buying votes and giving the finger to the west once again.
The Associated Press reports migrants in Tijuana trickling over and under the wall.
If you bother to read the article (hint: don’t bother) AP reporters have seen “up to 12 people” trying to get over the wall during the past week. One man “Martinez surrendered to waiting border guards”.
“In the dark of night, migrants could be seen walking up a hill inside U.S. territory toward agents waiting to detain them.”
These people have figured out how to get into America … “by word of mouth, some have realized they can simply cross into U.S. territory, largely uninhibited by Mexican authorities.” only to be thwarted by American border guards and agents.
I am amazed at how the media reports tax increases and how Canadians accept them as a positive thing. Changes to the Canada Pension Plan are starting. Of course this means an increase in contributions for both employees and employer. So how does the media report this tax increase?
Bloomberg devotes only one sentence to the contribution part, the rest of the article discusses the pay-out part (which is years away for the millennials and never for boomers, both groups of which will pay into the system starting now).
From an older article in the G & M we get a taste of the typical MSM reporting. For example,
“One key finding is that for every dollar of new CPP benefits a worker earns, approximately 62 cents will make its way into their pocket.” The reporter was not outraged that for every dollar in CPP contribution, $0.38 disappears. The reporter doesn’t even ask where that money goes, only that it is a “key finding” that the government is collecting all this money and only giving back 62% of it, starting 40 years later.
“Another criticism has been that the CPP enhancements are too modest. But once fully mature, by 2070, the study finds they will increase CPP benefits by 44 per cent on average across Canadians – which is far from modest.” And so, Canadians are being asked to give over more of their money with the hope of getting only 62% of it back for a program that will take more than 50 years to fully mature and for which the average Canadian will pay in for 40 years or more. And the CPP is supposed to be well-financed now, according to the government. Wake up Canadians. You are being f**ked by your government.
The government is taking your bread and giving you back crumbs. According to the G & M article many people only get $0.52 of their $1.00 contributions back. This is not seen as a fault of the government (which collects $0.48 for use elsewhere) but as a problem for those receiving less. If your financial planner took $0.48 of every $1.00 you invested they would be in jail. The Mafia only takes 25%.
Hey my friend the 2 Economic Genius’s Chretien the Cretin and Paul Martin, at least the State Controlled Media in Canada, claim them as such.
Sold off all of Canada’s Strategic Gold Reserves over 1000 Metric tonnes, one of the largest in the world. They began selling when gold was at 250 Dollars per oz. And it continued until nothing left. I wrote the Finance Minister and asked why those sells never showed up on the acct’s of the Bank of Canada, the Central Bank, or on the Books of the Government. I rec’d no answer.
To top that off the 2 Genius’s then stole 54B from the workers and employers U.I. Fund which they were to hold in trust for workers. It was not Government money. And still Canadians elected the Thieving B*stards.
Nah. Someone’s auditioning for a part in Swan Lake.
Why is our stupid government trying to shut down the economy of Canada with a carbon tax?
Has anyone asked Climate Barbie if she feels any guilt when Canada ships millions of tons of coal around the globe?
How can any of them be taken seriously on pollution and global warming when they would rather have oil transported by tankers and trains and trucks than safely in a pipeline across this land?
Why in hell are we paying equalization to Quebec when they are financially stable and rich in natural resources?
I guess we have the answer, we have a stupid government elected by an uniformed and outright stupid electorate.
Some countries realize their electoral mistakes and take action, not in polite Canada, we just complain, bend over, and take all the whacks they toss at us .
We are in for a peck of trouble if we don’t soon wake up.
Exactly, the Grits need a piece of coal in their Christmas stocking.
Canadians can be somewhat impolite, just ask our military enemies.
I think we can be pushed “too far,” but our tax tolerance is very high.
We are still well below the taxation levels of the halcyon Chretien days, so this bunch wants much, much more.
They starve the west and then force us to pay for statism and voter bribery in their eastern enclaves? Not gonna happen.
Imho, it’s the last hurrah for any more NEP garbage.
The east voting themselves the west’s money is at an end.
Perhaps the coming AB beatdown will convince them – actually, not it won’t.
Imho, a must watch for any Canadians who wish to see through the Grit fog of climate change war.
His question remains: why have the oilsands, and no other project anywhere near its scope – anywhere on the planet – been subjected to such a campaign of misinformation and malevolence? My belief is because they (radical environmental refugees from Marxism) can get it away with it here, but never in Venezuela, Nigeria, Russia or anywhere else. IOW they are cowards.
Rex is right, time to go on offence, because as we have seen playing defense just means losing slowly.
We are better than that and them.
We just witnessed the essence of Canada. It’s called transfer payments. We’re told it’s a complex formula but really it isn’t. It’s designed to steal money from TROC and give it to quebek.
This is the reason Canada exists. While the politicians tell us that quebek is a ‘nation’ capable of leaving the federation at any time, they are also at the same time a ‘have not’ province that while it has a 100 billion dollar budget need to get 13 billion in equalization.
What bullshit. There is no reason for this to happen under any circumstance. Let quebek make it’s case. We don’t need quebek federal politicians giving other peoples money to their quebek brothers to steal. Quebek gets more equalization money than the ROC combined! Quebek is running a budget surplus.
Bongo just bought next years vote.
Yeah we stand on guard for thee……
It brings to mind the saying “Why buy the cow when one can have the milk for free?”
The Federal carbon tax, plus HST of course, tax on tax, is kicking in just in time for our big heating bills, power bills and everything else we need to survive in the coldest season. Those who don’t use horse and buggy transportation will feel the pinch at the pumps and all goods and services via transport will cost considerably more….fruits and veggies will be out of range for the average household. Wonder if that would include Trudeau’s “middle class”?
Food banks are already swamped, many new arrivals under Trudeu’s Y’all come open borders have increased the need for food as well as clothing.
How can this work?
How can this work?
“Well, Thophie, the kidth, and I are nithe and warm thith winter, tho how come the retht of Canada can’t to the thame?”
So, if it works for him, it should work for everyone else. After all, isn’t he supposed to be “one of us”?
It is so encouraging to come here first thing on a Monday morning and find everybody engaged in that great Canadian pastime of SOUNDING OFF, BITCHING, GROUSING, WHINING, COMPLAINING about the condition the country is in and is going. When are we going to do something about it? To continue these actions accomplishes NOTHING!!!!! This great Canadian policy is nothing short of insanity. We wail and gnash our teeth and done the sack cloth and ashes while we watch a nation born of hope and promise, and matured with muscle, blood, sweat, toil and tears, slowly succumbing to forces that are diametrically opposed to the ideals we foster and believe in. Are we to continue down this road to oblivion that is evident on the horizon or do we start to find some way to take back all that we had once held dear? All the BITCHING and GROUSING in the world never solved anything, we have to find a workable solution to taking back the country that Canada once was. Nine months to the next election, that is all the time we have left. What are we going to do in the time we have left?
The Ontario Human Rights Commission wants the Toronto Police to start collecting data on race because black people are grossly over-represented in violent police interactions.
“Despite the fact black people make up 8.8 per cent of Toronto’s population, the OHRC found they were “grossly overrepresented” in SIU investigations.”
Of course there are 2 interpretations to the above sentence. One is that the police are picking on black people and the other is that black people (the criminals at least) are not behaving.
And then the faking of the news begins…
The report also concluded that black people were more likely to be involved as the severity of the incident increases.
Out of the 187 cases analyzed from 2013 to 2017, black people made up:
25.4 per cent of SIU investigations.
28.2 per cent of police use-of-force cases.
36 per cent of police shootings.
61.5 per cent of police use-of-force cases resulting in civilian death.
70 per cent of police shootings resulting in civilian death.
Note 1: it’s all based on percentages. Note 2: It’s based on SIU investigations. Next we have the bait and switch:
“The OHRC report also found that more white people were carrying weapons in police use of force cases, and that white people allegedly threatened or attacked police more often than black people.”
Of course this is a natural outcome if blacks represent only 8.8% of the population. The article never quotes what percentage white people make of these cases, but based on the race breakdown in Toronto it is probably >50% white people. There is also no mention of mental illness in the statistics (mentally unstable white man, holding knife, threatens police then puts knife down – no call to the SIU but a plus 1 in the police use of force cases). The report switches from SIU investigations to police use of force instances, leaving the reader to assume the report is still about the former when it is now about the latter. Is there an SIU investigation for every police use of force instance? No. The SIU is only called in when there is an incident involving police that results in death or serious injury or claim of sexual assault. Could it be that most white people put down their weapons when confronted by police or are the police purposefully targeting black people holding guns who for some reason can’t put their guns down?
The sad thing is information such as this will only push the police to abandon aggressive policing in areas with significant criminal activity (which statistically looks like black neighborhoods). If you live in a black neighborhood expect less help from police – which is what criminals want. The idiots on the OHRC are playing into the hands of criminals while thinking they are defending “innocent” black people. Glad I don’t live in or near a black neighborhood. Hi. We’re with the OHRC. We are with the government and we’re here to help.
Selective use of data by lefties. What else is new?
Let’s cut through all the bullshit and call it for what it is. Blacks commit in an inordinate amount of crimes based on their percentage of the population. That is not racist, that is the bold faced truth.
Truth is racist, or so we keep being told.
Let us fix a headline for the Grauniad:
“Give us our carbon tax or we’ll take your RRSP’s, threaten globalist bankers”
What is scary about this is that these globalist bankers have the capacity to bring about a financial crash. That is their specialty. They want their piece of silver and will aim to get it one way or another. The “emissions” are just a smoke screen. Do not think for a minute that this is about “climate change” which has been completely debunked. They want the money that goes with a carbon tax. Of course our boy Trudeau is onside with that, so the plan to impose this will not change. In Canada, what the UN wants, the UN gets.
As if having 1/4 of the military behind desks in Ottawa isn’t enough Turdeau is moving jobs from Alberta to Ottawa.
Say good-bye to Top Gun and Red Flag pilots coming to Canada for war games.
I want a new country….. and it’s name shall be Rupert’s Land.
WND has this piece of news. Kavanaugh’s just not Catholic enough, I guess.
Newly seated Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh joined Chief Justice John Roberts and the court’s progressive wing on Monday in declining to review three cases centered on Republican efforts to defund Planned Parenthood at the state level.
In dissent, Justice Clarence Thomas accused the majority of “abdicating” its duty for political reasons.
“So what explains the Court’s refusal to do its job here?” Thomas wrote. “I suspect it has something to do with the fact that some respondents in these cases are named ‘Planned Parenthood.’”
Thomas asserted that a “tenuous connection to a politically fraught issue does not justify abdicating our judicial duty.”
“If anything, neutrally applying the law is all the more important when political issues are in the background,” he wrote.
Associate Justices Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch joined the Thomas dissent.
With all the fuss about Baby, It’s Cold Outside and Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer needing to be banned from airplay, I have to wonder why this song hasn’t been pulled yet:
It’s not a Christmas song, as such, but, if one listens closely, some of the lyrics are controversial and possibly offensive. In fact, I heard on the BBC World Service some 10 years ago, that some stations got into trouble for playing it uncut because of those lines.
Interestingly enough, after I heard about that, I was waiting in a departure lounge at the Edmonton International Airport around Christmas of that year. It was playing in the background, along with all the other seasonal ditties. Either someone had no idea what the song was about or didn’t care.
Here is a new version of that forbidden song, by Trump and THAT WOMAN. It’s funny!
However the one you feature will be likely forbidden in time. Just watch -sounds very Irish!
well Im having a good day today, scavenge 15 bucks worth of booze bottles out of the recycle curb blue boxes among other things.
people love to throw $ away eh? TWO of the ‘scoops’ were within a BLOCK of the Beer Store.
(refrains of ‘baby its cold outside’)
on that subject, I started up the firepit last nite and did some course readings around midnight.

Its great to be an Islamic terrorist in Justin’s Canada. The CBC reports that Canada’s favourite terrorist has applied to have his probation order changed so he can make a pilgrimage to Mecca. Why not, he can afford the trip with the millions Justin gave him. He also wants to be able to talk to his sister who hates Canada. And the Globe and Mail reports that Justin will not be able to hold a 400 dollar a plate fund raiser at a Canadian Forces base in Ontario. The commander stated that political fund raisers are not allowed on bases. I’m sure little Justin will get revenge somehow.
Canada’s favourite terrorist has applied to have his probation order changed so he can make a pilgrimage to Mecca. Why not, he can afford the trip with the millions Justin gave him. He also wants to be able to talk to his sister who hates Canada.
No doubt he’ll get it to, and Prinz Dummkopf will make a public announcement about it, complete with waterworks. I don’t think my nose will run for poor little Omar if his application is rejected.
He has a two week stopover at the Khyber pass for “personal development” to complete his jihadi mass murder masters.
I understand there is further correspondence courses in killing infidels with a practicum that can be completed in Canada.
Thanks Justin for deciding for us that it’s appropriate to hug and pay off a terrorist murderer on bail.
This must be brought up again and again; do what they did to Harper, keep him off balance with a “scandal.”
Meanwhile the CBC notes Justin Trudeau and the Grits have broken campaign promises, three years after the election.
But one year before the next election so they can claim they “covered it,” not during any actual campaign mind you.
Perhaps the fund raiser was a “cabinet secret” and the base commander will now be charged.
Ah, but the Voyagers aren’t politically correct. After all, the disks each of them carry contain a message from Kurt Waldheim who, at the time, was Secretary General of the U. N., back when it was still a sensible organization. After they were launched, evidence was found that Waldheim had been a Nazi during WW II.
I guess that means that everything the Voyagers did was invalid, right?
Meanwhile, New Year’s Eve will have something worth staying up late for:
The Kuiper Belt Object, which has the unofficial name of Ultima Thule, will be the farthest celestial body ever visited by a spacecraft. Nobody has any idea of what it even looks like, let alone what will be found.
lol !!!
it occurs to me at some point between oh, say mebbe 1936 and oh, say 1944 every german alive was a nazi . . . . .
Actually, Waldheim was Austrian, not that it matters.
After looking at the proposed image of the Ultima Thule all I can say is Nuts!
You are the best blog in Canada.
Thank you and Merry Christmas!

How did he lose? (Just a brief clip with an amazing lot of truth crammed in.)

No, the voters did. And they loved Clinton, flaws and all. Perot didn’t have a cuddly bone in his body, unfortunately.

Quebec will get their Christmas Bonus from Albertans another 1.3B in Communist Wealth sharing scam called the Equalization Payment. Declare UDI Alberta go buy a Yellow Vest and take apart the Ledge in Edmonton. Leave it a smoking ruin.
The Associated Press reports migrants in Tijuana trickling over and under the wall.
https://apnews.com/d4defb351a1e4b5982688b07d8bb9958
So how does the media report this tax increase?
https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/personal-investor-pay-more-get-more-from-cpp-starting-in-2019-1.1180846
Bloomberg devotes only one sentence to the contribution part, the rest of the article discusses the pay-out part (which is years away for the millennials and never for boomers, both groups of which will pay into the system starting now).
https://www.theglobeandmail.com/investing/personal-finance/retirement/article-what-cpp-reforms-mean-for-canadian-seniors/

More interesting (aka fake news) reporting.
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/ohrc-interim-profiling-report-1.4939242
“Give us our carbon tax or we’ll take your RRSP’s, threaten globalist bankers”
https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2018/dec/10/tackle-climate-or-face-financial-crash-say-worlds-biggest-investors

With all the fuss about Baby, It’s Cold Outside and Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer needing to be banned from airplay, I have to wonder why this song hasn’t been pulled yet:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9jbdgZidu8
It’s not a Christmas song, as such, but, if one listens closely, some of the lyrics are controversial and possibly offensive. In fact, I heard on the BBC World Service some 10 years ago, that some stations got into trouble for playing it uncut because of those lines.
Interestingly enough, after I heard about that, I was waiting in a departure lounge at the Edmonton International Airport around Christmas of that year. It was playing in the background, along with all the other seasonal ditties. Either someone had no idea what the song was about or didn’t care.

Voyager two keeps on going.
Meanwhile, New Year’s Eve will have something worth staying up late for:
http://pluto.jhuapl.edu/Ultima/Ultima-Thule.php
The Kuiper Belt Object, which has the unofficial name of Ultima Thule, will be the farthest celestial body ever visited by a spacecraft. Nobody has any idea of what it even looks like, let alone what will be found.
lol !!!
it occurs to me at some point between oh, say mebbe 1936 and oh, say 1944 every german alive was a nazi . . . . .
Actually, Waldheim was Austrian, not that it matters.
After looking at the proposed image of the Ultima Thule all I can say is Nuts!
This is interesting about the Hubble:
