A significant portion of those guns came to Canada courtesy of BATFE Field Divisions South of the Border. Fast and Furious was the operation run by their Phoenix Field Division, which ordered FFLs to sell weapons to straw buyers. Those weapons were then loaded on trucks paid for with FBI funds, and then those trucks were driven across the border and the weapons given to a drug cartel in Mexico. There are 25 BATFE Field Divisions in the US, and EVERY ONE OF THEM had a similar operation. I live in East Central Florida, and our “local” Field Division is Tampa. They were running Operation Castaway, selling weapons to straw buyers and then transferring them to Communists supporting former President Zelaya in Honduras. With the help of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, and the Miami-Dade Police Department. The three Central Florida sheriffs made sure nobody touched the straw buyers or the weapons they got, and Miami-Dade made sure the weapons were loaded on ships at the Port of Miami without any inspections. Other Field Divisions were supplying guns to gangs in New York, Detroit, and Chicago. And still others were happy to donate weapons to your urban youfs north of the border.
THAT is what US “Law Enforcement” truly is. No matter what Trey “full of lies” Gowdy might insist.
If Goodall was including Indian Reserves, then he may have a point.

Someone should ask Goodale how long the gun registry has been leaking info to gangbangers so they know from which houses to steal guns.
Again, the gun related crime will be substantially reduced when Liberals, Socialists and Greens publicly and unilaterally renounce THEIR weapons and visibly follow through on that. Fat chance of that happening. They themselves probably commit most of the weapon related crime as it is.

And even if Goodale had the data where would it originate? Statscan or the RCMP, that’s where.
Both of these outfits lied about guns and crime in the past and their lies were the data the LPC used to justify the gun registry.
