    Whenever I hear about cultural appropriation I want to ask the speaker to stop appropriating the English language, and the electrical and automotive systems developed by Europeans.

    If they really believe it then they should have no trouble living it.

      Though we DO have gay pride parades here in the West where you can see men dressed up as women,which isn’t nearly the same ,but isn’t as triggering.

  5. You guys ever heard of “white magic” in Japan? If you are a fit white guy of any age and go to Japan and are well dressed and polite, you will be approached over and over by very nice ordinary Japanese ladies who want to help you, meet you and get to know you. Not talking street walkers. These are every day folks. They love white men. I am guessing it is because too many of their own men do not treat them with kindness. A lot of Japanese men are also pretty useless. They are unable to repair or build or maintain anything. A lot of them support a pedo oriented porno culture as well. Sick bastards.

    2. The Japanese think it is good luck to touch the hair of a blond haired person, so my sister found out a few years ago, much to her chagrin. I learned that this must have a grain of truth to it as……I once entered an empty, or so I thought, C-train and at the extreme other end was an Asian teen fondling the blonde’s long hair, who was in the seat directly in front of him. She had no idea!

  7. The thumbnail picture for the video is cosplaying Hestia from the light novel/manga/anime “Is it Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?”, and Hestia is a goddess culturally appropriated from Greece.

  8. This is a good excuse for them to dress up and have some fun, like Mardi Gras. Hong Kong night markets are similar and they’re a blast.

    “Cultural appropriation” is just a gimmick cooked up by academic busybodies who want to control everybody else, and western media plays along to appear intelligent. As my Indian friend told me: go anywhere in the world and you’ll see people wearing blue jeans, the indelible stamp of triumphant western culture!

  9. my parents went to expo 76 or whatever year. the one in japan.
    my daddy topped out at 6-2, gigantic by japanese standards.
    the kids loved to run up to this gentle giant and clutch those ‘tree trunks’ legs of his, to the
    amusement of all. the tour guide sent his regards *after* they returned.

    japanese men are a sniveling, basement dwelling, sponger generation, a hollowed out shell of their former selves. did WW II do that to them?
    culture shock for sure but there are too many things to count that I admire about said culture.
    yakuza aint one of them.

    1. Is Germany any better? The country is on suicide watch, as are many of their Nordic neighbours.

    2. If WWII really did do that, it is but a small payment for the unspeakable horrors perpetrated before and during WWII by the Japanese, both by those in power and the foot soldiers. Much, much worse things can befall Japan and still will not balance the ledger.
