        1. Apart for revenue generation taxes can be used to induce behavior. In theory, when proceeds from the tax on those who behave in an undesirable way go to the pockets of those who behave in a desirable way, the tax can be revenue neutral. Of course that is how the libranos wanted to sell cap and trade. In practice this was just another money grab.

          P.S. Could you please stop pretending to have an ability to think critically and to form opinions? Seeing you struggle is cringe inducing.

The ones who pull the strings on the left saw how well the radical movement of the day, the hippies,worked in radicalizing San Francisco in the 1960s and they are continuing that model now with every big city, and using whatever means is best suited to the particular city. So far, Occupy, ”Antifa”, and black lives matter have been the three biggies in their latter day campaign of destruction. Wonder who is financing it?
