    1. Most of that interview is pure fluff as best suits Freeland. But, right near the end of that clip….. rumblings from Ontario businesses. The best question in the interview and we don’t really hear the response. She’s going to meet with Premier Ford is all we hear. I’ve read elsewhere that the manufacturing and steel industries in Ontario are putting pressure to get a deal. There is a reason that the Michigan/Ontario border (i.e., Windsor/Detroit) crossing is getting a huge upgrade (with Canada paying for most of it). I suggest that big money is going to influence the course of the negotiations going forward.

The wheel is still in spin. Where it stops no one can yet say. But I’m putting my money on a break through. Your take may be different.

      1. Someone needs to put pressure on them. The Trudeau government’s handling of NAFTA has been abominable. They should be pilloried — not rewarded for a show of patriotism. NAFTA makes it clear that Freeland and Trudeau are inexperienced dillitants. They have shown bad judgement every step of the way.

      2. If by ‘breakthrough’ you mean utter capitulation to Trump’s Trade demands … then, yeah … I agree a ‘breakthrough’ is forthcoming.

In a related news story … in RED letters on the Drudge Report … New RECORD HIGH US Stock Market … RECORD Employment …

Enjoy your PM Pippisqueak Longstocking decline, Canada. Guess MY President’s ‘Magic wand’ is shoved right up your PM’s twat.

    2. Bob Woodward – you mean the fiction writer who interviewed and got confessions from a guy in a coma?

    3. Wait!? Did she just admit she keeps “folders” on the Trump Admin. men … !?

Didn’t that same thing cause Romney loads of trouble?

    4. Ex Cathedra: Loftus’ Luster Lost
Controversial Professor Is Latest UCI Employee Associated with Pedo-Priests

For years, attorneys for the damned have called upon UC Irvine Professor Elizabeth Loftus to save their clients’ asses. And save asses she did—Loftus signed on with numerous defense teams and earned a reputation as an academic get-out-of-jail-free card. Her job: share with jurors her controversial research that argues memory can be manipulated, that sexual abuse isn’t something that the human mind can merely seal into some dark crevasse, that repressed memories are—as her most-famous book states—a “myth.”

  1. I’m thinking the TED people, whoever they are, regret this one.
This is an excellent snag from 2013, not long after the equivocating doctor began having her head shrunk.

  2. “They are pissed…”
Laura Ingraham interviews Larry Kudlow on the trade deal with Mexico and at the 4:30 mark the talks with Canada comes up. Remember, this interview is the end of Aug. well before the ‘Tyrant speech’. Watch as Kudlow catches himself “getting personal” when Freeland comes up.

  3. This fascist admits to being ‘fetishistic’ (her word) about her ‘complex Government briefing books’ (with the ‘new transparent folders’) and admits to being ’embarrassed’ she has not read Woodward’s book.

Oddly enough the book in question is not only full of false information, according to the people at the White House but Trump says that he never received a request for an interview from Woodward about it.

For all the screwing around on this Government file Freeland may as well have read Woodward’s book ( or some Fashion Magazines.)

  4. A Trudeau connection?

The Sherman’s held a fundraiser for Justin Trudeau that may have violated campaign laws.

Their attorney was attempting to quash a federal investigation just before they were murdered.

I wonder if Billionaire(s) murdered (187) has anything to do with this.

Did they know something that got them murdered?

    https://amp.theguardian.com/world/2018/jan/26/billionaires-barry-and-honey-sherman-were-murdered-canada-police-say?__twitter_impression=true

Canada was used to help spy on Trump through the FVEY agreement and to funnel uranium to final destinations. (Russia, Syria, Iran)

    Billionaire(s) murdered [187]?

    Q on Trudeau

  5. The pro-Trudeau national-media cartel censored Freeland’s attendance at the anti-Trump conference, so at the time I was wondering whether or not word filtered back to Trump about this. Brian Lilley is correct: it looks like Canada is shut out of NAFTA. Next step: Trudeau calls a snap election over the NAFTA collapse, with the media cartel cheerleading the Liberals.

    1. You got me thinking

      Juxtaposition this

      https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/charles-de-gaulle-speech-50th-annivesary-1.4218130

Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson criticized the speech, saying de Gaulle’s “statements were unacceptable to the Canadian people.” The French president skipped his planned events in Ottawa and returned to France early.

      To this

      https://ipolitics.ca/2018/09/13/trudeau-backs-freelands-participation-in-panel-that-included-trump-with-autocrats/

“Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Chrystia Freeland’s participation in a panel that lumped American President Donald Trump in with dictators like Bashar al-Assad was appropriate – despite the fact she’s in the midst of trade talks with the United States.”

Think I’ll drop a letter to my MP asking if Freeland’s comments and PM Sockmonkey saying its “appropriate” is now an official government position. I don’t remember a motion being tabled in the House on this let alone a debate.

  6. Bono: Certified Psychopath

He was turning around. I have to guess his drug dependency, possibly pedo or sex slave wants… to get his mal needs and wants, he has to sell his species out.
Terrible it must be, to be a true monster.
As with Soros and the others, all quite willing to destroy their own. Happily, for whatever they get. I hope hell was worth it, if I guarantee it won’t be. Sad.

  7. I found old hockey clippings from the late 70s . The articles did not match my recollection.

The paper must have got it wrong at the time.

    1. well kenji, you have just totally confirmed what Ive been predicting since about 1985 when I walked away from a high paid job operating those mainframe dinosaurs (I saw THEIR demise too and decided to move on whilst I could just to ‘keep up’). this is straight out of ‘1984’. Eric Blair was spot on and waaaaaaay ahead of his time. the commonality is the fact we’re talking about communism.

and yet, and yet, hard right wing power boys and high placed cops seem to be all gung ho over the prospect of setting up their own mass surveillance systems. why is that? oh, right ‘follow the money’.

my doctor retired and I spent about 15 minutes discussing the means *other than* ‘log in and give us yer financial info sose we can send yer medical histry in digital form’.

    1. Oh, great. Now I have another reason to move from Edmonton once I finish settling my father’s estate.

  8. oh, and about the false memories and eye witlesses?
cops wet their pants over eye witnesses. the trick is to shop around and find one and coach them to say what the cops want to hear.
THREE TIMES now I have been the victim of a crime caught on video and THREE TIMES the cops utterly, immediately and resolutely REFUSED to look at said video.

one of THE most remarkable, ubiquitous and easy forensic tools in the last 50 years and the cops
WILL. NOT. LOOK. AT. THE. GODDAMN. VIDEO.

  9. https://www.france24.com/en/20180920-ghost-properties-cruel-legacy-venezuelas-migration-crisis

Many condo owners in Venezuela’s capital city would rather lock their empty condos (after they have left the city) than rent it out and try and collect the rent payment.

My question is why are these people allowed to own property in a socialist Utopia in the first place? If they didn’t own the condos they wouldn’t have to worry about squatters.

    1. Oh, why not? The taxpayers are an endless piggy bank, aren’t they?

The Liberals respond, typically, with evasive waffle.

        1. Catherine McTelevision …has a nice ring to it…

Next thing you know it’ll be custom kitchen delivery, microwave ovens and refrigerators. If that ain’t workin, they could always get their chicks for free, because the money’s for nothin’.
