Calypso Louie was there for a lot of reasons I’m sure. The complexities and depth of history there, are far beyond the capabilities of today’s’ media. I’m sure the decision to edit his presence was based on intellectual limitations. The radical left hasn’t fallen out of love with islame just yet. They’ve only just realized it’s hard to explain.

My statement was one of simple fact; I am merely pointing out that the appearance of Farrakhan at this funeral does not imply anything in terms of support for Islam; I suggest his ethnicity (and that of his NOI followers) is the principal reason for his attendance, not his crank beliefs.
(His presence ought to be troubling enough in and of itself for what it suggests about whoever organized this funeral.)

Years ago, I recall seeing Globe and Mail front page pictures of an ANC march in Cape Town, South Africa. Full color…..fairly big picture. I stumbled upon the original picture and it was crystal clear that the Globe and Mail had cropped the photo perfectly to not show all the hammer and sickle flags through the march. It was crystal clear what the intent was….keep the notion that the ANC was Marxist away from the public. Sickening “journalism” really.
