101 Replies to “Art Of The Fail”

  1. I can only quibble on one point Trump made.
Canada has not been taking advantage of the US, rather we have taken it for granted everything they do to protect North America. Due to that super power next door, we can ignore our defense obligations. Due to the size of their market and its proximity, when they do well we benefit from the halo effect. That also applies in the case of economic downturns that because the US a free market economy North America rebounds much quicker we benefit from that.
Our betters like to expound on our Canadian style socialized healthcare government mandated single payer system but without the US medical industry the market for medical innovation would be 1% its current size. Medical innovation requires a free market to fund it, we have taken access to the US health market for granted while keeping ours protected from the slightest suggestion of allowing that evil “US style healthcare”.
We want to protect our government controlled cartels which imposes costs on those that can least afford it, but our betters insist access to US markets as a right, one for which they feel no reciprocity is required.
No Mr Trump, taking advantage of a situation requires bad faith and guile. This is not malice, its ignorance.

    1. Sorry, no. If the Laurentian elite are not prize examples of bad faith and guile, there is none in the world. In fact, if you included self-dealing, you could say they are nothing but that.

The fact that the mass of people are non-thinking in the context of the US-Canadian relationship, is irrelevant- they like the benefits of the present arrangement, and so, don’t think about it much. Kind of like welfare recipients. It pays to be ignorant.

      1. I agree with that with one exception but I’m ok with that.
Respectfully I disagree on the laurentian elite having guile.
Bad faith and guile require the knowledge that what they do is detrimental and wrong.
They actually believe their own bs, which is why I attribute their action to ignorance not malice.
To paraphrase Regan. These are the folks that know a great many things, the trouble is a lot of what they know is just not true.
Malice requires them to intend harm, they think they are being charitable and want to help the lesser beings in this world.
They usually get enlightened when they run out of other peoples money, or are forced to live by their rules.
Thats the day they suddenly realize something is not right.

  2. Trudeau saying ‘we do not yet have a deal’ is liberal speak for ‘I have not yet capitulated to each and every one of Trump’s demands’.

There is no negotiation here, Trudeau and his progressive trade amateurs have again embarrassed Canada and we will pay dearly for it.

    1. They would have been better off if they had left me off the record – President Donald J. Trump

Pretty well sums it up. The Facque’ media (my ‘French’ spelling) stepped in it again. Handicapping … nay, kneecapping ‘Socks’ the PM in training. Well played, Toronto Sun … well played. Idgiots (more ‘French’ spelling).

  3. The auto workers in Windsor have probably never voted for a conservative in decades. Federal or provincial. On one hand I would like to see them get the just desserts of their socialist leanings

    1. Agreed. On the other hand is one of my brother in laws who is a tradesman at Toyota in Cambridge. Non unionized, hard worker. It Toyota had to move to the US, he’d be fucked for sure. And, he always votes PC.

It’s a complex issue for sure.

All we know for a fact is that Haircut and Greasy Freeland have pooched it badly. Donnie is gonna punish him for his virtue signalling.

      1. He is among those I feel sorry for, as I do for many oil field workers in Saskatchewan and Alberta who are only trying to make a living for themselves and their families. They are not to blame for the evil lying political games played by the environmentalists, First Nations rent seekers, and political prostitutes.

However, like possibly many here, the honest blue collar and white collar non-political grunt will have to suffer like some of our families did in the past for the self serving machinations of political hacks.

      2. Your expert team of crack negotiators are STILL TALKING ABOUT SOCIAL JUSTICE TO THE MEDIA!!! Is THAT REALLY the Canadian peoples … priority?!!

Do they really “believe” that has ANYTHING to do with Trade, let alone anyone’s priorities? Smh

        1. The average Canadian does not really care about social justice as expounded by the Ottawa Idiots like Turdeau and his grade nine cabinet. Only a moron would go out of his way to piss off his best customer over some unrelated wet dream called social justice. There will always be a war somewhere in the world, there will always be inequality and turmoil somewhere in the world. Any fool that thinks this can be rectified through trade agreements is lying to himself and anyone who listens to him. Unfortunately the Canadian electronic media have drank the kool-aid and are on a mission to support the idiot in chief.

    2. Look to the Union Leaders of these so called Socialists…the Syd Ryans et all of the world….and there coercive influence on how the automotive masses vote.

As to Trump, he is doing what he said he would do…I don’t believe I have seen a politician – ANY poltician with maybe the exception of Ralph Klein, do what they said they would.

The simpleton playing PM is completly and totally out of his league as he has been since 2014.

      1. Please re-phrase that to: The idiots advising the PM (really, you really believe that?) are completely in another dimension, space time continuum that does not compute with reality as we see it. Shorter: out to lunch, out of touch, out of their collective minds.

Our alternatives are just about as bad.

    1. Your incompetent, point-scoring, PM set this up with his famous ‘eyebrow’ speech. As it turns out, taking aim at MY President’s ballsac (‘French’ spelling) is a dead end business. As Sun Tzu said in The Art of War … “When phony PM strikes for your nuts, go for his throat, and choke him till his lifeless body stops twitching”

  4. Quite stunning how in their fervor to attack President Trump, leftists worldwide are consistently the ones actually doing the vile things they keep falsely accusing him of.

Trump is exactly right when he described the media’s actions as ‘dishonorable’. To publicize an ‘off the record’ remark simply isn’t done, let alone to a sitting US President, let alone during hyper-sensitive trade negotiations. But then, just look at the roasting Tiger took for even suggesting the office of the president itself demands some respect. The left, including their media lapdogs, are blinded by their totally irrational hatred of Trump.

I remember how intensely the Canadian media hated the last Bush presidency, too. But, I don’t believe even the hacks of those days ever attempted to sabotage billions of $$ of Canada/US trade in a crazy partisan effort to make Bush look bad.

Which again raises the point I made here a couple of weeks ago…

‘Who can we possibly trust to accurately and fairly ‘report the news’ when the now inherent dishonesty of the media industry itself IS the story?’

    1. I think Trump planned on the fact that the creeps at theToronto Star, would print the leak. It’s a negotiating tactic to let the idiots on our side know what the deal is going to be.

Canada squandered whatever good will and leverage it may have had when the gender-confused PM more or less gave Trump the finger after the G7.

I continue to marvel at how stupid the Canadian voter actually is. We are screwed. The only bromide I can fall back on is that it’s exposing the Trudeau government and it’s pussy cat ministers, because it used to be 2015.

      1. “Because it used to be 2015” What a great election slogan for the PC’s! – along with a comparison of national debt and deficit then and now, and other downward trends in this country. There will be many more economic indicators in the coming months which will be useful in a campaign.

      2. “I continue to marvel at how stupid the Canadian voter actually is”… agreed, shocking level of idiocy… “and those trying hard to join the middow clath.” DUMB.

    2. Witness the witless hypocrisy of American leftists gushing over John McCain whom they loathed as a racist misogynist.

Our media’s American coverage has burned off relevance in favour of their DeMarxist obsessive hatred of all things Trump.

I wonder if they’ll call Conservatives Trump clones thus racists women haters?

D’ya figure? The failed billionaire who wins, wins, win? It worked so well in the provincial election, right? Umm, no.

This gong show would actually be funny if it weren’t for the upcoming economic skewering of Ontario with 25% tariffs.

Can’t wait to see how they’ll try to pin the blame on Premier Ford for this. After all the virtue signalers can’t be wrong.

  5. Do we know what the goal is? Trudeau’s aiming to destroy our auto industry and if he can blame Trump that’s great. Trudeau has succeeded in trashing Canada’s oil and gas industry; his next target is our manufacturing sector. It’s a good thing the government will soon be swimming in an ocean of cash from legalized marijuana sales or our medical care will be in jeopardy.

    1. I would say the goal is for Trudeau to use Trump hatred to get re-elected – but I’m naturally cynical.

      1. Bang on. No matter how badly he pooches the negotiations; no matter how bad the economy turns; no matter how much he is “forced” to raise taxes to make up for the shortfall – he can always turn the to Trump boogeyman and shout “It’s not my fault! I’m standing up to Trump for you!”. It will work, for a while. Until the economic pain starts to bite … but I’m sure they’re planning a re-election strategy before then.

      2. Oh,absolutely! Gerald Butts figures Trump hatred in Canada can be played to another win despite all of Trudeau’s f***ups, and he may very well be right. I meet with a varying group of about a dozen retired folks every day,and all I hear is Trump hatred, never a single word in favor of him.
When I bring up Trudeau’s f***ups, they either blame Trump or their eyes go blank, and they seem to wonder what in hell I’m talking about, being good msm viewers all.

Trudeau is still wildly popular with 30% of Canadians, and to unseat him, the Opposition needs a charismatic leader who can make a speech like John Hagee and debate like Christopher Hitchens. Instead, we have Andrew “Dimples” Scheer.

The CPC has a formidable alliance against them; the CBC and most of the rest of Canada’s media, the Liberals, all the Unions, all the Teacher’s Federations, the CLC,the NDP,and dope smokers all across the country, so to defeat Trudeau it will take a colossal screwup by Trudeau that the Liberal media arm of the LPC can’t twist into a positive.
Our best hope is if Trudeau gets struck by lightning.

        1. No, the CPC only needs a leader who will be competent. Juxtaposed against bongo almost anyone will fill the bill.

The unionistas and media were all opposed to Doug Ford.

Don’t bet against bongo and a colossal screwup. He’s capable. Should that happen the CPC could run a Labrador dog against him and win.

        2. Maybe you don’t like that horse in the race, but the other horses aren’t lame enough yet for you to beat them on foot.

    2. the pot money isn’t going come in. There will be an initial flood of new pot purchasers, curious to find out what this pot thing is all about. The current average price of an oz. of weed in BC is $140 or $5 a gram.

The plan in Ottawa is to heap on taxes upon taxes upon fees to bring pot as high as $18 a gram = $500+ an oz. That is NOT going to fly. I suggest that all the mom and pop growers, don’t sell off your grow lamps just yet. I think you will retain your market share easily.

Everyone I know that uses weed for various reasons have zero intention of paying the extorted prices for government weed. This is going to blow up in Trudeau’s stupid face.

The rest of the funding for his big plan to give us all free ‘other people’s money’ is to have Canadians losing their money in comfort of their own homes while playing on his new legalized gambling sites right on the internet. That ought to be helpful to families with addicted gamblers or potential gamblers.

Canada had a cancerous leadership at this time. It’s going to metastisize in 2019. The right has no alternative that any real conservative wants to vote for. Scheer lunacy.

      1. Apparently the legal average price in Oregon is $7 US or abt $9.09 CDN. I suspect pot heads might want to keep in touch with their dealers. But beware – now it is tax fraud and they will go to jail.

      2. The government can’t make money at $8/gram, but the burnouts have no problem doing so, even if they came out of the cave and pay GST & income tax. That says all you need to know about “public enterprise.”

    3. “..It’s a good thing the government will soon be swimming in an ocean of cash from legalized marijuana sales or our medical care will be in jeopardy…”

      Dont bet on it..

      1. Agreed, a few well placed Libranos will get rich from growing the Liberal Party weed with guaranteed taxpayer cash, but the windfalls predicted from the dopeheads rushing to buy weed off of the Government is pure fantasy. The Mexican drug cartels and the Hells Angels are not in the least bit worried about the LIberal Party’s competition and they will continue to make lots of cash growing and selling weed. The latest polls I’ve read have 84% of Trudopians worried about the speed of “legalization” and feel there should’ve been far more consultation, ha, ha, welcome to Trudopia… since when do Liberals ask for permission for anything? 38% of retards voted for the part time drama teacher therefore he is the dictator with a mandate… 38% vote for Harper making his reign illegitimate because the majority voted against him… see how that works… welcome to the insane asylum known as Trudopia… enjoy.

    4. Will the government be swimming in an ocean of cash from legalized marijuana sales? Perhaps at the beginning, but I read an article in which the US Customs/Border Patrol are not going to allow people who smoke marijuana or are in the business of marijuana into the United States. That will boomerang big time on the Liberal government.
Many people travel through the United States to get to other places. This is not going to end well.

  6. Trump is going to show the world what happens to dummies like Justin when they choose the stick instead of the carrot on trade.
Trudeau is going to used as an example to the rest of the US’s trading partners of what happens when you choose to play silly huggers and backstab him instead of playing it straight.
Play with the bull, get the horn.

Ontario voted for Justin the idiot.

  7. Given the reflexive anti-Americanism of the majority of Canadians, turdo la doo is in a win-win situation.

If he doesn’t make a deal, the Dairy cartel will cheer to high heavens, and the blame for any tariffs that the US imposes on Canadian autos (and all consequences) will be assigned by the majority of Canadians, to Trump.

If he does make a deal, here’s my prediction: the Canadian market will open up to certain Yank dairy products, Trump will relent on our autos, Supply Management will remain in place, and the poor, perpetually screwed and chronically stupid Canadian voter will make up for any and all losses claimed by dairy farmers and producers…..and then some.

    1. I have a simple question. If supply management is so great, why is it limited to the dairy industry?

  8. But Trump said after the Mexican Agreement that Canada “could” sign ON ….But Turdo thought that his “Stuck on the sideline” position allowed him an equal negotiation….NOPE same agreement full stop…… I would guess that someone at the Toronto Star hates Trudo, or is incredibly stupid for publishing Trump’s off the record Comments (same as his original Comments)….It made the agreement political Suicide for Freeland & Turdo because the CBC and the Canadian Media had sold a load of BS….. What the hell are Canadian Values if not economic stability? (Pronouns & SJW jabber, better get permission from the UN.).

The Mexico agreement will haves the support of Texas, Arizona, NM, California & West(Left) Coast… The Mid-west does not have the same clout….Indeed the Canadian Auto tariff would have a direct benefit to Detroit & Cleveland economy/Workers bringing back Jobs from Canada….Trump is not threatening.. he is promising MI, Ohio, PA, WV their jobs back…..WAKE UP

The Congress will pass Trumps trade package bi-partisan, or the Stock Market will punish them in Nov

    JMHO

    1. I caught that too.
Trump has sent his letter to Congress per the deadline.
The letter explains that he will have deal with Mexico and Canada can join in if it wants too.
Thats the part the media seems to miss.
Trump is moving forward on a bilateral with Mexico and if we don’t agree before he forwards the agreement to congress, we have to agree to a bilateral of our own or we have no deal.

    2. MI OH PA WV, these are the electoral votes that Hillary couldn’t be bothered with.
They elected Trump President, time for their reward. Sorry Canada.

      1. The difference between Obama’s urban “renewal” … and Trump’s. MY President’s urban “renewal” comes with the PRIDE and HUMANITY of work and accomplishment … Obama’s (and Trudeau’s) … dependency and despair.

  9. They are not failing; they are campaigning.

The strategy is clearly to be against Trump. Therefore, Canada will not sign any deal with Trump, as a deal with Trump, would be seen as a failure by the base they are playing to.

Either the strategy is valid; which means there are enough Trump derangement sufferers in Canada to push the Liberals over the top, again.

Or their pollsters and focus groups and echo chambers are wrong.

    1. Sadly, this is more or less the “high moral ground” Liberals took last time in their determination to best Conservatives regarding refugee numbers and coming out gung ho for female face masks at citizenship ceremonies. Canadians (always wanting to prove themselves better than Americans and everyone else) drank the kool aid. It’s a cynical tactic that ignores the best interests of the country, but it plays to Canadian egos. Now it’s “Donald Trump is not going to push us around.” If Liberals are elected again, we are looking at massive political failure and a very naive population.

    2. That’s some trade policy – do nothing, as the best alternative. The citizen deserves better than that. It’s just more evidence, if any is needed, that the Canadian political class is decadent, the same way that the chamberlain government was. But perhaps it will take a catastrophe to open their eyes to their own juvenile views. Or maybe they will prove just as decadent as their overlords, and do nothing. In that case, they would deserve what they get.

      1. The citizen deserves what they voted for, good and hard. Secret ballot ensures that no one can prove who they did or did not vote for. Also, no one can prove if it was individual citizens, or if it was just one guy with a printing press, …

  10. I guess Trudeau re-election is just inevitable; polls have never been wrong before. Pollsters worldwide guaranteed that Hillary would win, and they were right.

It couldn’t possibly happen to Trudeau. Hillary was relying on evil national socialist pollsters. Trudeau has dependable anti-evil international socialist pollsters. Completely different in every way. No way no one learned anything from any mistake they made…

  11. Another thing I see.

It is clear that to the Liberal party of Canada, the only group that matters is Quebec dairy.

Anyone else who thought they had a say, who thought they would never be thrown under the bus…

Democracy is the theory that once a politician is bought, they stay bought forever; every former Liberal pet cause deserves to get what they paid for, good and hard.

Have fun Ontario, when the suicides start at the Windsor Ford engine plant.

    1. The only thing important to liberals is making sure they keep the seats in Quebec they have now.
      Why?
Because the liberals cannot maintain their majority status without Quebec, and the conservatives can win without Quebec.

      1. “Because the liberals cannot maintain their majority status without Quebec, and the conservatives can win without Quebec.”

Very astute. What I wonder is why the Great Stephen Harper didn’t deal with this dairy issue after winning the 2011 election?

      2. Having worked for a Laval Company the past year, I can tell you that the mood in Quebec vis a vs Trudeau is not one of Clear Love for this POS….not even close…There is a real chance many seats will swing to the Conservatives.

    2. I think Doug Ford and all anti-carbon tax provinces should make their own trade deal with Trump.. Screw Truedoodoo.

  12. “A ‘win-win-win’ for Canada on NAFTA? Forget it
    Lawrence Martin” (G-M)

    …-

Leftist MSM-GM abandons SLJustine/Butts, et al.

    h/t PET POT Cemetery Report.

  13. Meanwhile over at Constant Trudeau Vision, the hacks are laughing and sneering about how Canada is taking Trump and the U.S. out back of the wood shed in these negotiations. Some dolt anchor, actually claimed that Freeland would make a good next Prime Minister. Unbelievable. Is the media party in Canada trying to out fake news the fake news?

    1. That is unbelievable. These people are totally out of touch with reality. Canada needs a wake up call about the ineptitude of the current government– Freeland and Trudeau leading the parade of fools. Media supporting their destructive moves simply accelerates our economic downfall. These people are not very smart.

  14. Trump played them like a violin. He full well knew that his “off the record” talk with the liberal entity Bloomberg would get leaked.

  15. I wouldn’t be surprised if Trudeau sank the auto industry in Ontario just to stick a huge thorn into Doug Ford.

    1. Trudeau is so out of touch that I am not convinced he thinks in terms of concrete political actions. He is mostly about cliches and platitudes. However, I believe he would deliberately thwart the auto industry, if it in any way furthered the push to one world government. (Of course he would not personally make that decision, but simply follow the directions set by our globalist masters.) Actually, I think that failing to embrace NAFTA primarily strengthens the US, so globalists should be worried if we fail to cut a deal.

  16. As an American taxpayer who has subsidized the Canadian socialist welfare crackhead mentality for generations, I say enough is enough. We own you and we as benevolent owners allowed you to live off our economy and dance to your own retarded tune for too long. It is time for a hostile takeover of Canada. We will not absorb you but we will destroy the powers that be and force you into a democratic republican form of Government where the Laurentian Oligarchs lose all of their power and this in turn would be for the first time given to the Canadian citizen. You will elect your own President. This President will be your Chief of State. Any executive position within the Government will now be an elected position. Canada will outlaw it’s trade unions. Canada will outlaw it’s public sector unions. Canada will abandon it’s welfare social programs. Canada will open its markets without limitations to all foreign investment from other free nations. This will exclude China, Russia and other mortal enemies of a free world. Canada will become a nation of armed sovereign citizens protected in a new Constitution. Canada will abandon it’s Nazi free speech hating laws. Canada will be forbidden from censoring any type of free speech or media. Canada will have only one official language and it will be English. Canada will liquidate it’s commie Government media propaganda machine called the CBC. Canada will be a free trade non-protectionist open nation. Canada will close its’ doors to immigration. Canada will pay for its own defense and quit being a nation of self-exalted non-productive smug parasites. Canada will become for the first time a nation of inventors and innovators. Canada will become the most prosperous nation on Earth. Canada will drop it’s ignorant toxic animosity of the world’s greatest nation and begin a healing process by acting like real responsible partners instead of spoiled immature ingrates. Do this and one day we may actually give you the keys to the car.

I have spoken. Make it so!

    1. “As an American taxpayer who has subsidized the Canadian socialist welfare crackhead mentality for generations”

But the US has a trade surplus with Canada. Not many countries in that situation. The US exports 5 times the dairy products to Canada as Canada exports to the US. What part about Trump’s rhetoric all being bullshit don’t you understand?

      1. Yeah, cause their dairy is cheaper. That is why people across Canada, who live close to US border, go grocery shopping in the US. Fill up their gas tanks in the US. Go for immediate health care in the US (as opposed to access to a waiting list in Canada).

Do you see a pattern here? Or are you voting for Trudeau.

        1. Not hard to figure it out. In Canada poor people pay extra for milk to subsidize an average $ 5 million net worth farmer. In the US, government gives $10 million net worth farmers 72 % of their income. American dairy farmers are likely as equally inefficient.

Taxes are higher on everything because I pay nothing for health care – nothing – that’s nothing. Americans pay about ten grand. Ahahaha! Ahahahahaha! Haven’t noticed a waiting list. Had a heart procedure the next day. Family member had a few joint replacements. I think the longest wait was a month. Don’t piss off your doctor.

  17. There is far too much binary thinking going on here. The flailing, protectionism and sophomoric arrogance of the idiot Spawn does not mean Trump is the “good”. They are both protectionist ass holes. A 25% tariff on Autos and parts from Canada means that Canadians will pay 25% more than existing prices because any remaining domestic car producers or non North American imports will sell for just under the price reflected by reciprocal tariffs Canada will put on Trump’s manufacturers thus eventually negating any US gains by the apparent “red headed hero” of this site. Keep your beaters. We will eventually look like Cuba.

  18. At first the Turdo Trade Team didn’t support Trump trade team calling for raising Mexican auto worker wages.

Financial Post reported: “”Similarly, NAFTA talks are faltering because Canada has failed to play the “special relationship” card and side with Trump against Mexico’s unfairly low wages of US$3-6 an hour compared with the average of US$30 an hour for Canadian autoworkers. “

Mexico is owned by a handful of crime families. The globalist crime network sticks together.

Canadian firms are concerned about impact of their Mexican operations. “This proposal disproportionately affects Mexico and interests in Mexico and Mexican firms, and so it’s incumbent on the Mexican government to oppose it,” said Flavio Volpe, president of the Toronto-based Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association “We’re advising Canada not to comment or take a position until the Mexicans do.”

It was after USA auto workers rallied behind Trump, that Team Turdo got on their virtue signaling bandwagon and championed the cause of the Mexican workers.

  19. Is Turdo out to get the best deal for Canada or for China at the expense of the Canada & the USA?

QUOTE of UST  Ambassador Lighthizer Jan 2018

We find that the automobile rules of origin idea that was presented [by Canada], when analyzed, may actually lead to less regional content than we have now and fewer jobs in the United States, Canada, and likely Mexico. So this is the opposite of what we are trying to do.

In another proposal, Canada reserved the right to treat the United States and Mexico even worse than other countries if they enter into future agreements. Those other countries may, in fact, even include China, if there is an agreement between China and [Canada]. This proposal, I think if the United States had made it, would be dubbed a “poison pill.” We did not make it, though. Obviously, this is unacceptable to us, and my guess is it is to the Mexican side also.

Finally, I would like to refer, because I think it fits into this context to an unprecedented trade action that Canada brought against the United States very recently. It constitutes a massive attack on all of our trade laws. If it were successful, it would lead to more Chinese imports into the United States and likely fewer Canadian goods being sold in our market.

  20. If there is any one single big problem Canada has, its the super high cost of doing business combined with regulatory overhead in Canada. If your neighbors were other high cost nations like in Europe then that might be okay. Your neighbors however are the USA which has one of the largest, most competitive, dynamic, explosive, gigantic economies in the world. You have to compete with this one on one, or else provide valuable services and goods that the USA cannot. Then you have Mexico which unlike Canada is not dying of self-inflicted socialist overhead and labor sloth. Canadians are lazy, overpriced and underworked. Mexicans are among the world’s hardest workers at China-like prices. So what to do?

    1. Massively deregulate the Canadian enterprise in its entirety. This includes the French language.
    2. Undermine and eliminate the de-facto courtroom veto of the Indians and the Environmentalist left.
    3. Protect investors like Switzerland and other tax havens do. Become the world’s largest banking and tax haven right on America’s doorstep.
    4. Privatize everything and cut government on a massive earth shattering scale.

Canada’s economy would explode! Imagine a mix of world class mineral deposits, with cheap land everywhere, low cost power, low cost government, populated by smart civilized English speaking people on America’s doorstep! That would be something Canadians could be really truly proud of.

    1. If Americans are so clever, why don’t you show us how to accomplish those worthy goals by doing all that you recommend on your East and West Coasts. And while your at it, eliminate your own thoroughly bankrupt welfare state (that your hero Trump has only made worse).

    2. “Mexico which unlike Canada is not dying of self-inflicted socialist”
Didn’t Mexico just elect a socialist government?

      “Privatize everything”
Exactly what business is government owned? Not much.

    3. “cut government on a massive earth shattering scale.”

I saw numbers that indicate the US and Canada are within a half percentage point of equal on government spending as a proportion of the GDP.

    4. I’m inclined to agree that Canadians get paid more.

“Tony Faria, an auto industry specialist at the University of Windsor, said that once new contracts negotiated by both the CAW in Canada and the United Auto Workers in the United States come into effect, Canadian employees of the Big Three will cost their employers about $27 an hour more than their American counterparts. April 2018.

But Canada stays competitive by de-valuing its currency like China. This raises living costs for for everyone but the chosen get annual pay raises to make up for the increased cost of living. The rest pay bigger share of earnings in taxes.

      1. Yes, not only does inflation reduce government debt t also increases government revenue with tax bracket creep. EVen raising the minimum wage increases government revenues (?)

  21. It is very humorous, watching the auto industry in Ontario. Pretty clear they never read ‘Animal Farm’, or didn’t believe it when they did.

Boxer is going to the glue factory; you are less equal than Quebec dairy. There will be no sympathy from me as Trudeau starts a war with Trump to possibly virtue signal his way to a second majority.

    Or, maybe to Kim Campbell-ism.

Only time will tell how stupid Canadians actually are. But tell us, it will, with absolute precision and accuracy.

  22. Will our sunny days & ways PM call a snap election this fall to get away from the trade and other economic fallout?

The fake populist says all is good, without mention his retaliatory steel tariff has added big costs to new builds, in the tens of $thousands. We won’t have yet felt the big pain of a 25% tariff on Canadian auto exports to the US. Meanwhile our dairy farmers are ensconced in the protected mansions. Our climate goals are foremost; Gaia decrees oil stay in the ground.

Nope sunny ways, only a racist would disagree. No money for veterans but $10m for an enemy combatant. $billions to kill a pipeline to make the nationalized pipeline company worthless. Now this big fumble coming. Make no mistake, Trudeau will fumble, he cannot let dairy farmers go any more than he can turn back Saudi crude tankers.

The true end of our nation will be when it’s OK for crude laden tankers to come down the St Lawrence, with no concern for the belugas, but now becoming their heroes at the prospect of crude laden takers going up the St Lawrence, via the Canada East pipeline.

If Quebec succeeds at that, TROC will separate from them.

    1. Hopefully, yes — with a minority government so we can quickly get rid of Scheer and elect a decent Conservative government before TSHTF.

  23. “””Undermine and eliminate the de-facto courtroom veto of the Indians and the Environmentalist left.””

The Legal name “First Nations” does not fit the UN definition of Indigenous people, (Only original Tribes like Cree) but Turdo endorsed an Indians only “Reconciliation judgement” based on the UN treaty of indigenous rights… Since the 1960’s abuse was identified in some Residential Schools and reparations were made to those abused (The chiefs wanted their children educated) …Fast forward and every Indian and Metis want to be compensated for every slight & perceived abuse.. The Canadian Indian Gold Rush to the Courts & Socialist organized environmental causes have become dominate over a cowered public…

Canada just needs a “Truth & Consequences” tribunal of ALL citizens to determine their democratic rights & how deep the UN Treaties (international Law) are allowed to dictate Court judgements… What is the Canadian Way & Why? Does Canada have a Sovereign Nation? Is it time to eliminate Indian Affairs & Crown Reserves?

    1. For centuries whites have tried to help Indians integrate into civilized society. All they got in return was proof the Indians weren’t worth trying to help.

Worse—the Indians are now openly giving aid and comfort to enemies of the Crown.

The bigger problem Chief Big Screen TV insists on being, the bigger the chance that Canada will one day fall into the hands of someone who means business about solving it.

  24. Trump is brilliant, almost superhuman in a way.

On our side we have idiots.

One thing that really bothers me is the number of Canadians who say it is unpatriotic to criticize Trudeau and his team of clowns. I swear there are some who would follow Trudeau right off a cliff to their death.

    1. “really bothers me is the number of Canadians who say it is unpatriotic to criticize Trudeau and his team of clowns”

Patriotism is for people who believe in borders and sovereign nations. Trudeau and his clowns are post-national traitors.

    2. As POTUS, Trump can do what he wants to Canada and Mexico as neither NA bookend has done enough to diversify trade from our naturally biggest trade partner. Jesus Christ incarnate could be PM of Canada right now and nothing would change that metric. The Spawn has blown what chance we had at being flexible, humble and polite but that was all we could have done as things stand as we either give enough to get an agreement or we take it without any KY. So no, Trump is not a genius, he’s simply playing poker with all the cards and he THINKS himself a genius.

      1. You have to admit Trump is doing many, many things to defend the West, such as putting the brakes on immigration, telling the Euros to get their act together in so many way, reining in Iran, building the keystone XL pipeline, killing off ISIL, ending the grip Hamas had on Mideast peace, confronting, with the intention of thwarting, China’s attempt to become dictator to the world, and, likewise taking the fight to, and, defeating the liberals who are the other great threat to the prosperity and happiness of the West.

It is important to keep an eye on the entire picture, not just the scenario Trudles wants you to replay in your head ad Infinitum, until the election, so that he keeps the country his psychic slaves and thus keep the Libranos in charge of their own northern Cuba. The trade agreement may turn out to be much better for Canada than Trudeau wants you to expect. The question is whether Trudles will allow Canada to get it, or puts the Libranos and their Chinese interests, first.

        1. “Putting the brakes on immigration” has only make America poorer. Also, he didn’t put the brakes on immigration, thank god. The GOP bills to do that died in utero. You will be replaced.

Also the Keystone XL pipeline hasn’t been built yet and faces more regulatory delay.

    3. “Trump is brilliant, almost superhuman in a way.”

“One thing that really bothers me is the number of Canadians who say it is unpatriotic to criticize Trudeau and his team of clowns. I swear there are some who would follow Trudeau right off a cliff to their death.”

It’s impossible to know if this is God-tier trolling or transcendent retardation/unawareness.

    1. Actually the new deal sucks. It’s NAFTA but with more government intrusion on the free market ie $16/hr wage floor, higher NA content requirement

  25. Trudeau and Canadian Hillary In The Purple Sack aren’t doing so well in Washington even though “it’s 2015” .
