  1. A remarkable man that never received the attention he so deserved. America and the Americans that were dedicated to re-building the Republic will sorely miss him.

  2. I knew someone with a similar affliction – the surgeons kept saying they’d got it all, but then it returned, again and again – last time I spoke to him he said “Enough – I’m not going back into the hospital”.

    He didn’t even make 50.

  3. He will be a great loss to the world’s political discourse. He has a very keen and analytical mind. One could agree or disagree with him, but one couldn’t ignore him.

  4. One of his most accurate analogies was during Obama’s surprising and near instant rise from obscurity to the Democratic Nominee when he said that the only thing he had ever seen like it was during Trudeau-mania of the sixties. He always comes across as a thoughtful writer and speaker.

Sad to see him at the check-out counter.

  5. We have lost a very level-headed, brilliant, insightful, man. I am glad he lived long enough to see the phenomenal job being done by President Donald J. Trump.

    1. If I may correct you Kenji, Charles has not passed. He is currently in the battle for his life.

      1. Mr. Krauthammer has raised the white flag on his life, and has ceased his battle. Such is his choice.

      2. Sorry … premature phrasing. I hope Charles gets to see Trump DESTROY the G7 Globalists … return North Korea to the family of man … and reveal the full depravity of the Deep State. That might serve to change his NeverTrumper mind … before meeting Yahweh.

  6. Great, must-read columnist; insightful, must-listen-to commentator on Special Report, and so witty……

Kimberly Strassel recently told a story about being a guest at an event at the White House a while back, very pregnant, and sitting next to George Bush. Bush says to her “When you due?”, Strassel says “Oh, it was a week ago”. Bush, clearly nervous, asks if the White House doctor is in attendance at the event. Krauthammer, sitting across the table says “I’m a doctor.”

  7. Miss him on FOX NEWS. He appeared daily on Special Report With Bret BAIER. Charles is a baseball fan and after the show he used to dash off to view the Washington Nationals play ball. (formerly the Expos of Montreal). The Canadian connection is that Charles did his undergrad studies at McGill.

  8. Charles had lots to say. Sometimes he was right and sometimes he was wrong. His will be a voice that will be missed.

  9. I will miss him and his insight. He was opposed to Trump’s presidency, but recently came around to embrace Trump. I believe I recently posted an article by Charles that was in the National Post (I think).

  10. Maybe Charles should return to FNC for a segment or two with his number one show host pal O’Reilly. Those two always played off each other perfectly. One shouldn’t be so rude as to leave without saying goodbye and nothing says goodbye better as kicking the leftwing’s collective micron-minded butts while walking out the door one last time.

    1. Sorry Martin… O’Reilly’s former show was a monologue, he interrupted his guests and never let anyone speak.

  11. Krauthammer is no fool, but he completely misunderstands Trump. That has been a mystery to me.

Classy man. Does not deserve cancer. Very sad to hear he could not beat it.

Ya that’s the feeling i had, you just articulated it for me thanks.

  12. “A remarkable man that never received the attention he so deserved. ”

Yup, smart, honest journalist. The ranks are so thin.

  13. Krauthammer was my biggest reason for reading TIME. Wow, that was a different time, long ago.

  14. He will be missed. I used to look forward to his occasional columns in the National Post.
