Maybe, just maybe, throwing open the doors of your country to people from a part of the world where virulent anti-Semitism is the norm would lead to an inevitable and entirely foreseeable rise in anti-Semitic attacks against the Jewish citizens of your country?

I argued with my high school history teacher about the influx of immigrants to Germany and the potential for cultural disaster. He was adamant that it was a good thing. I had my doubts. That was over 50 years ago.

So dismaying. The sad thing is Europe is being overwhelmed by people who are not interested in adopting German culture. The same is happening in Canada under the Libs. There is no concern that Canadian culture and that of some recent immigrants are incompatible. For example, many Muslims like the idea of Sharia law being implement in Canada. That is not compatible with our secular Western values. You cannot live peacefully among people who are hostile to your culture. And when some people try to mitigate the potential problem (e.g. Kellie Leitch with her push for a personal interview with newcomers to assess their understanding of our culture and willingness to integrate) — she is pilloried by the goons on the left. I feel like I am slowly watching our culture go down the tubes. For those in France, Sweden and Germany, it is even worse! When will people wake up to the insanity that political decisions of our Liberal government are bringing about?
That might happen when everyone in (post-national, sharia-compliant, gender-balanced, Soros vassal) Canada regularly bows to Mecca. But,. by then, it won’t matter, will it?
