Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Next question.
What is the price of carbon?
Discuss.
Carbon in what form? Pure carbon? Many things made out of carbon fibre seem to fetch higher prices than version made of less exotic materials. How much do makers of carbonated beverages pay for carbon dioxide?
as much as the idiots will pay. our own dear leaders will figure that out as quickly as possible.
And as time goes on the price will go up.
All of this reminds me of a course in classical archaeology in university. There was 5000 pages of reading for the entire course, and the essay question on the final exam was this: “The Greeks built as a people, the Romans as individuals, the Hittites as neither. Discuss citing examples from the readings”. The one book on ancient Persia was 1500 pages by itself (with only a handful of pictures) and gave the Book of Mormon a run for its money in the totally boring category.
That exam was proctored by the professor’s graduate girlfriend.
And yes, the Liberals won’t answer because A. they have no answers, OR B. were they to provide answers, they would either be totally unbelievable OR so shocking they would be hung from the local lamppost for even suggesting them. The sooner Canadians as whole get a clue about the colossal rip-off the environmental and gender equity movements are, the sooner this nonsense comes to a screeching halt. It is all about power, control, emotion and invective and not about truth in any fashion.

That’s assuming that they are sufficiently mature and possess good character and integrity. Sadly, I think many possess neither.
Those ideologies and doctrines will continue to exist so long as they serve their adherents. Why change when there are great rewards for being a follower? That’s why, for example, many people join “The Party” as membership in it provides great material and social benefits.
Liberals believe in the worst possible approach: using their own numbers, they are doing nothing of consequence at maximum cost.
the cost of doing nothing can range from nothing to a helofalot..
that dam cost 10 million..
the floods(instead) can (only) cost a couple million per year ..
Someone noted a glaring hypocrisy South if the border recently:
In the last federal budget there was a project Dems were demanding trump support – a 50 plus billion upgrade program for Manhatten that will take over thirty years to complete.
Now why would they be interested in that when by then the island will have ceased to exist?
The “cost” of doing nothing … is a $$$ windfall BONUS to every hardworking lower and middle class citizen who will not be TAXED for no good reason.
There should be a law that the carbon footprint of any Canadian should not exceed that of its Prime Minister.
… or that of David Suzuki
We’ll call it “the cost of doing nothing law”.
