  1. Sorry, madame, but I don’t think you’ll find the answer to why the oil and gas industry’s doing so poorly by going over to Korea and looking at how pop music is produced there.

Any bets that Andrew Scheep (typo deliberate) will let the Libs off the hook on this one?

I have no idea about how sexy this lady is…or if she even does Gangnam Style?

Gee about 6 (SIX) years behind the curve…but then going to Youtube might get you shot these days.

Nice junket…do we get a cut rate deal on some Samsung NVMe SSDs which is better than the Netflix gambit of last fall? At least that would have some redeeming computer value…

    Prosit!

  3. – Sure as blazes hope she doesn’t post pictures of her doing Gangnam-Style or massacring other S-K cultural events, unlike what her boss did in India…

  4. Funny how these folk who claim to be all concerned about the effects of CO2 on the climate manage to spend a whole bunch of time flitting to and fro on big ol’ jet airliners ‘n’ such…

      1. Exactly what came to my mind.

This blatant raping of taxpayers has got to stop.

  5. Agnes Campbell Macphail (East York, MP 1921-1940) must be rolling over in her grave.

  6. Q: “Any bets that Andrew Scheep (typo deliberate) will let the Libs off the hook on this one?”

    …-

    Vote Conservative. Vote Scheer.

“I’m here to tell you the same thing I’ve said in many, many speeches all across the country: the first piece of legislation in a majority conservative government in 2019 will be entitled ‘An Act to Repeal the Carbon Tax.’”

    …-

“Also pledges to introduce “Act To Repeal The Carbon Tax.””

“Conservative leader Andrew Scheer continues to expand on the key themes he will bring up in the upcoming election.”

“Scheer also promised the the first piece of legislation he would introduce would be a repeal of Trudeau’s unpopular carbon tax:

“I’m here to tell you the same thing I’ve said in many, many speeches all across the country: the first piece of legislation in a majority conservative government in 2019 will be entitled ‘An Act to Repeal the Carbon Tax.’””

    1. Unfortunately, Scheep/Scheer has largely been a disappointment to many conservatives.

      1. Scheer seems to be slowly winning over the centrists that regret voting Liberal…but as for conservatives…yeah…pretty weak.

Best not to punch right too hard yet. Anything that can interrupt 10 years of Trudeau is worth supporting. If Joe Clark had hung on for a few years we could’ve avoiding that devastating…country ruining…1980-1984 term that Pierre gave us. It would have been worth putting up with Clark if we could have avoided that.

    2. Vote NDP/Trudeau. Vote to burn it down to the ground. When the Tories actually present a Canada-first, right of center candidate who isn’t beholden to the Chamber of Commerce wing of the party, give me a call. Otherwise, I’ll vote further and further left to burn this down.

    3. When he pledges to publicly execute every member of the Liberal party past and present, fire 99% of all government employees, end all defined benefit pension plans, bring back the death penalty, … I will think about voting.

Until then, that useless waste of oxygen can eat my shorts.

  7. Maybe she is going over there to find out how to put on a show.

The Canada Day 150 show in Ottawa bombed with Canadians, government survey shows

The July 1 show should have been the glamorous centrepiece of the year-long Canada 150 celebrations, which had a budget topping $200 million. But the chaotic and interminable security lineups, combined with persistent thunderstorms, wrecked the experience for thousands of people — and it shows in the survey commissioned by the Department of Canadian Heritage.

Compared to a survey on the Canada Day show in 2015, satisfaction with the overall festivities plummeted from 86 per cent to 54 per cent. The organization got the worst reviews, going from 90 per cent to 37 per cent.

  8. Perhaps the provinces should start asking: ..again … what do we need Ottawa for ?

    1. Perhaps the provinces should start asking: ..again … what do we need Ottawa for ?

That’s a question which will only be asked west of Hamilton, but not in Lotusland.

Quebec won’t bother because it thinks it owns the country. The Maritimes won’t because Ottawa is a source of that region’s income, namely welfare, pogey, and useless subsidized or bailed-out projects (heavy water plants, anyone?). Lotusland won’t because it sees Ottawa as an ally in its war against the oil and gas industry.

  9. She is going to TEXAS TOWN (Seoul) to find a compatible little girl… Sick shit

  10. Did we pay to hire her own selfie photographer like we did for that other “because it’s 2015” cabinet colleague of hers in Paris?

  11. I think Sheer is ok so far. We’re a year and a half away from an election and bongo is on one long slo mo train wreck.
    I’m cautiously optimistic.

    1. Quite right. Governments defeat themselves. Most of what Scheer & Co have to do is keep Spawn’s disasters firmly in the voters’ minds when 2019 rolls around.

    2. I agree with you, cautiously…. No doubt things will be tougher for the corrupt Liberals and the costumed actor during the next election, but we can’t underestimate the power and influence of the corrupt Media. The Media already give the Soros Turdboy and PM Butts a free ride as it is right now. My fear is that as the next election gets closer and the Media begin to campaign for the Turdboy, again, they will unfortunately have just enough influence with the dipshits that vote for the hair and socks to convince them to do it again. If the Conservatives are not ready to fight back against Juthtins Media whores they will lose, again.

  12. Joly probably needed the vacation, whoops, I meant to write ( study K-Poop) primarily because she needed a break from the long cruel hours of looking at her own horse face in the mirror… that would give anyone the K-Poops.

  13. I buy this only if her boss decides ALL SORTS of Korean methods and values are also to be adopted.

like fostering an economic environment that turns your war ruined nation into a shipbuilding power house, automotive giant, electronics giant, wtfelse gangnam giant, along with a robust fully and modern equipped military.

*then* mebbe they get away with this nonsense.

  14. She is part of the Family Compact of Quebec. Mummy and Daddy you see, were part of the political scene. While she bounces around everywhere and has an interesting resume she never stays very long anywhere. You know, the gotta see and be seen, sort of person, like you know who, except she has a better degree and studied in England.
As Heritage Minister she might want to visit, perhaps the lovely Quebec town of Mont Joli in Gaspe for a trip to possibly ” finding her roots.” It’s only a short flight and there are 4 flights per day directly from Ottawa. A trip to South Korea is much more costly. But then, money is no object when election costs for Ahuntsic-Cartiervile, with an eligible 82,863 voters, cost the Liberals $149,387.67 to win the seat. By comparison the Conservatives spent $12,346.58 in 2015. Big difference. So next year she should be ousted. Why would the hard working people in her riding want to pay another wealthy person a pension. Six years is all it takes for a ball and chain to affix on taxpayers. This MP has made her rookie mistakes. Glaring ones. She was naive when wanting to bestow a free pass to Netflix from tax and regulation in exchange for an ill-defined Cancom investment of 500 million over 5 years. This is the Finance Minister’s portfolio, not hers.
Of course it is like pulling teeth for the Press to divulge anything. All under the rug now. Move along, nothing to see here.
Vote her out. She could be your next Finance Minister. Let’s see, my Daddy is an accountant, will that help, it’s who you know, n’est pas?

  15. A lot of negative comments here re. Andrew Sheer. I have seen numerous clips of him giving Juthtin the gears, asking hard questions (& getting no answers) but the Gatekeepers at CBC and CTV are not letting that info through. Andrew can make all the points he wants, and all the speeches he wants, but as long as the corrupt Media are carrying the Spawn on through, the public will not hear anything Andrew says. Period. Like shouting in a vacuum chamber.
The real enemy here is not the LPC.
