Filling in the blanks on “clearly white” headscarfed Youtube shooter Nasim Aghdam;
In a video posted in January 2017, she says YouTube “discriminated and filtered” her content. In the video, Aghdam says her channel used to get lots of views but that after being “filtered” by the company, it received far fewer views. […]
It appears Aghdam controlled multiple YouTube channels, including one with videos of her speaking Farsi. Aghdam posted videos about an array of topics including hand art and animal rights.
In 2009, she protested the military’s use of pigs in training exercises. A news report by The San Diego Union Tribune shows a photo of Aghdam holding a plastic sword and spattered in blood as part of the demonstration by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
As in so many of these cases, law enforcement received several warnings and didn’t act.

I blame Nikki Minaj … and all her fanbois working at YouTube. And if this isn’t a time to impose restrictions on YouTube use … esp. among our vulnerable children (like David Hogg) … then when will the YouTube vlogger lobby finally come to their senses? How many more Persian exercise videos will it take? Smh
This is another hard Lefty fruitbat attack, with the added fun of Mooselimb background. Anytime there’s a mass shooting, its always a Lefty and the media always tries to pretend it was those dastardly redneck knuckle dragger conservatives. No chance this time, media swine. This chick was hardcore California fruitbat, all the way.
The other issue is the behavior of the big tech companies. They make huge changes to their systems all the time, as if there was nothing on the other side of that wire. Well guess what, there is.
They ruined this woman’s livelihood, basically. Maybe we think its stupid, and maybe she was a flake, but -she- was dead serious about all of it. Some @$$h0le at a desk in a cubefarm pushed a button and wiped out her life’s work. Poof! Gone. No reason, no recourse.
Most people, me for example, of Kate, you blow up our web sites, we have this thing called “perspective.” We can weigh the value of the website against the cost of going down in a blaze of glory, becoming a one-week wonder on the news. Clearly a stupid, stupid idea. Walk away whistling a happy tune, because who cares.
But this chick, she -lives- for her causes. She is all-in. So, dying for her causes probably seemed pretty reasonable to her.
This is why we Conservative types view Leftyism in all its f-ed up forms as a mental disorder. It’s base is in rage and hatred, and it motivates people to do things like shoot a congressman, or blast some random schlubs in the lobby of a big tech company and then kill yourself.
The Lefties killed 100 million people in the 20th Century, how many more have to die, ladies and gentlemen?
If only someone had been able to reach out and convince her to have a bacon double cheeseburger, this may have been avoided.
They ruined this woman’s livelihood, basically. Maybe we think its stupid
I don’t understand people losing their **** over YouTube screwing with “their livelihood”, but then I worked in the VAR (Value-Added Reseller) space for years and it’s a basic tenet of the business model that you need to have a plan for when the upstream vendor goes out of business, gets acquired, changes their product so much you can’t work with it any more, or otherwise torpedoes the entire foundation for your business.
Did all these people just assume they could continue leeching money from a free service forever? Making YouTube videos isn’t a real job.
Daniel Ream said: “Making YouTube videos isn’t a real job.”
If it takes work and you make money out of it, its a job. Lots of people, up until a few weeks ago, were making a tidy sum doing fingernail videos, comedy, makeup, gun videos, fix your car videos, all kids of stuff. That’s why there are so many videos on every subject you can think of out there. Because people have been GETTING PAID to do them.
As a business model it has problems, because not having control over the terms of service means the host can kill your business at any time. And they did. Youtube decided to play politics and make a money grab at the same time.
You may have heard the Youtube is banning all kinds of gun videos. The people who make those videos have a lot of time, money and energy invested. They do it for a living. It is a job. A very lucrative one for some of them. They had a plan for when Youtube inevitably went political on them, they moved to Pr0nzHub where they are getting views and advertising money just as before.
This chick, being a Lefty, felt she was -entitled- to the money and views she was getting, and did what Lefties always do. Instead of changing hosting, she resorted to violence to get what she wanted. Now she’s dead, which in her f-ed Lefty mind is a -positive- because now she’s “getting her message out.”
The reason YouTube censored the videos this woman, a radical animal-rights activist, posted is because they contained graphic and explicit images of animal abuse. YouTube knows that most people would be upset by seeing a video of an animal being tortured.
was jimmy jones one of your good buddies????
It was amusing to say the least to see all the usual suspects blame the NRA for this one. No doubt like most female, muslim, PETA activists she has a lifetime NRA membership. As I mentioned in the tips thread below – mental illness caused by lack of bacon in her diet.
“… all the usual suspects blame the NRA for this one…”
The left knows if you tell a lie often enough people begin to believe the lie.
When will Hildabeest use this incident as yet another excuse why the Russians and Trump cheated her out of the election?
You get the drift that the “journalist” dribbles hither and yon to ameliorate that what actually happened.
The actions of the young woman are mostly omitted.
As it is with cases like this, she is the victim and everyone else should just roll over and play dead.
Guessing here that the “journalist” is up for some kind of prix for the reportage.
When I first heard of the attack I sort-of suspected someone who had been messed up by Youtube’s monetarization policies. It is a theme of several of the podcasts I listen to.
(An example: https://twitter.com/bradyharan/status/901040842848292864?lang=en the best guess is the video contains the mathematical term derangement over and over again, must be a slur but the ‘human’ who reviewed the appeal rejected the video as unsuitable for ads.)
Then I heard it was a woman and wondered if she was objecting to the NRA stating the young women don’t do mass shootings, and proved them wrong.
Then the feed I was listening to ran the narrative was that it was a jilted lover. (After all, that’s the only motive for a woman to attack.)
Now the narrative has changed. And my first instinct was, in a way, right.
Today it is impossible to stop an angry Muslim woman from doing what she wants. Especially when the future king of Planet Saudi is in country buying the hearts of influential Americans.
“… law enforcement received several warnings… ”
With the information available so far, I do not believe that statement to be accurate. Please correct me if I have missed some facts.
Unlike Parkland where there WAS multiple warnings at multiple levels before Cruz’s deadly rampage, this was apparently just one very concerned father. Are we now to live in a society where you can be detained or even taken into custody on the word of ONE INDIVIDUAL who has a concern about you being really pissed off at someone/something? That is pretty much the same communist destruction of personal freedom that the left intends to use here in Canada to arrest people for criticizing Islam. And if you believe her body of work on YouTube was a warning in itself, then hundreds of thousands of weirdos and haters should be taken into custody immediately.
Anyways, I found it truly disgusting how many anti-gun nuts blared their ignorant rants well before ANY basic facts were even known about this shooting. Way to go leftards, you are doing an exceptional job of driving huge gun sales figures across the USA these days.
She was a vegan and a radical one at that. Without that protein in her bloodstream, she was bound to go off at some point.
She could have saved her videos and transferred them to another media site.
But that’s just clear-headed thinking, just as it is to keep an eye on a dangerous person.
Kate – My “clearly white” comment was in reference to how CNN described the Boston Marathon bombers within a few hours of that attack. In a similar vein, this woman was described as a “white woman in a headscarf”.
I think the clearest sign our societal bonds are broken is the barely restrained glee partisans show when mass shooters are revealed to be part of the other political tribe.
I see she is Iranian, but that doesn’t necessarily mean she’s Muslim. We have no definitive connection to her being a practicing Muslim, do we? I know, I know, the MSM will never find that out. It’s up to others to find that out.
Lots of people of Iranian descent in the US, and also in Canada, are here because their families either had to leave or thought it was wise to leave Iran after the fall of the Shah because that signalled the end of the relatively secularized middle-class lives they led there.
These are frequently people whose religious faith is often perfunctory if practised at all.
And of course, if you were Bahai or Zoroastrian, it was probably not in your best interest to remain in a Shi’ite Iran.
Just heard that she was the “first female Persian vegan bodybuilder.” Seems like a somewhat specialized category to be the first in.
Sadly … she worked her body … and not her mind.
