  1. Muslim women shoots up Youtube due to censorship. I suspect this story will die quickly.

    1. Oh no, haven’t you heard she is a “white woman wearing a headscarf” sort of similar to “white Hispanics”.

      1. That’s what I heard in the original reports as well. A white woman in a headscarf.

Same as the Boston Marathon bombers – CNN was gleefully reporting that the security cameras spotted a “clearly white” individual.

    2. In this case the muslim aspect appears to be incidental (for a change). She was reported missing by her father a few days ago. When found in her car by police before the shooting, they let her father know she was OK and where they found her. Her father warned police (given where they found her) that she was extremely angry at youtube for demonetizing some of her videos.

Personally I suspect given she was a muslim and vegan that she suffered a mental illness as a result of a bacon deficiency.

  2. “Ah, I see their dilemma…

Want to demonize guns / shooter… “Oh Damn! It’s a WOMAN a Persian [so maybe Muslim], and an advocate for puppies and kittens… wrong demographic to demonize for the narrative…”

So went dark to find a spin… return with “domestic violence evil man” story…

Carefully ignoring the thought control / censorship story of “demonetizing”…

  3. Oh Shiny Stoner!

Trudeau ignoring huge marijuana problems in rush to fulfil campaign promise

Trudeau’s determination to push the bill through clearly exposes the problem with Bill C-45: It’s a watershed moment that covers public policy, health care and Canadian law. Yet, the Liberals refuse to see it as anything more than an election promise that must be in place by August; details be damned. Why else would they ignore the warnings of Americans who have already dealt with this?

When representatives from Colorado and Washington state testified before a parliamentary committee, their most ardent recommendations were to “slow down.” “Don’t rush the process.” “Take your time — even when the public is clamouring for access.”

No doubt they picked up on the Liberal’s sense of urgency as the committee allowed just five days to hear from 100 experts to discuss a plethora of issues. A 10-minute cap on testimony meant speakers were barely able to scratch the surface of potential complications or possible solutions.

    1. Tim:

basically, the politishuns always get it wrong first time out.

      despite the ‘3rd reading’ nonsense.

the reason is they WILL not and CANNOT ever play ‘devil’s advocate’ to look for loopholes in the legislation.
oh lard lard lard, imagine the uproar if a backbencher did the ’emperor has no clothes’ thing with the pot bill.
the precedent . . . . . horrific nightmare n’est pas? migawd they would never get anything ‘done’.

thus the legacy of each administration *undoing* something or other from a previous one.

  5. Some good news in the oil and gas segment for a change.

TransCanada) today announced its Northwest Mainline Loop-Boundary Lake pipeline has been placed into service, completing the final section of its 2017 Expansion Program on the NOVA Gas Transmission Ltd. (NGTL) System. With the completion of winter construction activities, the 2017 Expansion Program represents a $1.7 billion investment in Canadian natural gas infrastructure, and connects low-cost, clean-burning natural gas from northwest Alberta and northeast British Columbia to the NGTL System.

    1. “natural gas from northwest Alberta and northeast British Columbia to the NGTL System.”

Does that mean that Alberta has to assume all the risk from BC gas while BC makes all the cash? How do I sooth my irrational fears?

      1. Of course; that’s how Confederation works. Grew up in SE British Columbia and the menfolk were wont to say that Canada ended at the Rockies and BC at Hope (later amended – after the Socreds got in – to the Okanagan). They knew how much revenue flowed out of the Kootenays to Ottawa and Victoria, and how little was plowed back in. Granted, the prairie provinces didn’t have a great deal either, but we didn’t always know the details – from what we heard, the Crow Rate kept the grain moving to ports (except when it didn’t because the railways preferred to ship more profitable goods). It took some years to realize we had more in common with Alberta and Saskatchewan than with the lower mainland of BC.

There is a movement afoot in Alberta to convince the provincial government to shut down the pipelines from BC and not allow them transport across the neighbouring province. Saskatchewan is apparently on board. Would wreak havoc on the stock market, particularly for some producers who are heavily invested in the NE BC gas fields. But might well be the best way to bring this issue to a head.

  6. To anyone who is currently on statins, or has a doctor who is pushing you toward statins, you may be interested in watching this video, which may well be the best 54 minutes you have ever spent in front of a screen. The documentary aired last night on TVO and its content are absolutely fascinating. The big pharmas will not be pleased.

    https://tvo.org/video/documentaries/cholesterol-the-great-bluff

    1. ?
      TVO?
      TVO?????????????

ah sid, better expunge your comment. TVO is ‘persona non grata’ here at SDA.
as is for instance, PBS, despite some really eye opening stuff about the middle east or muslims in europe of new astounding scientific discoveries.
and as is MSM. (well they kinda deserve it, after all, with the machine red lining the propaganda, its really hard to find reliable uncesnored unfiltered objective reporting)

      1. That is not true. TVO airs some questionable stuff (like their”Climate Shorts”) which I believe they do because it is cheap filler, but they do have a lot of informative programs, and most SDAers appreciate that. Not too long ago they had a documentary about all of the problems being caused by windmills. It was called Big Wind — worth watching if you can track it down. Paiken is left-leaning, but I do think he at least attempts to be more objective than many at the CBC. TVO currently is running a very interesting series on the Tsars of Russia. Definitely some good programming. It is actually one of the very few stations I sometimes watch these days.

  7. A lefty hated the third episode of Roseanne, so It must be good? Actually I watched it and it was OK, not as good as the first two.

But still highly entertaining. I loved it when Roseanne soaked her granddaughter, whose inane rationalizations hit home for me.

I look forward to episode 4, with maybe a “journalist” showing up and setting their hair on fire as their head explodes.

Then Roseanne can soak their head for their/our safety. OMG is that “violent?”

Yeah, moron, real life is violent, with leftists leading the body count. BTW, the leftist media is dead, not Dan.

    “Alberta breaks 83-year-old cold records

Red Deer, Grande Prairie and Pincher Creek will remember Saturday as the coldest March 31 on record.

Grande Prairie dropped to -30 C (-22F) overnight breaking an 83-year-old record. Pincher Creek hit -21 C, edging an 82-year record, and Red Deer hit -22 C, breaking a record low of -19.4 C set in 1975.

Fort McMurray and Cold Lake set new low temperature records on Friday with lows of -31.7 C and -21.7 C respectively.”

  9. “Alberta breaks 83-year-old cold records”

I would never have believed it, but that $*@% carbon tax does work!

    1. Not to mention how much extra carbon tax the government will get because – with the record lows – people actually do have to use natural gas to keep from dying from hypothermia.

He doesn’t address the issue of the IQ of a society’s leadership. But we know how that’s turning out in this (post-national, sharia-compliant, gender-balanced, Soros vassal) country, don’t we?

  12. Off topic but…..
Just got off the phone with a firearms dealer in Alberta ( I’m in Ontario). I’ve never been treated better in my life. These guys know how to do business and speak the language I understand. Had a brief conversation with one of them re;politics.
My kind of people. Wish there were more of them here in Morontario.

  13. Trudeau to travel to Peruvian capital Lima, Paris and London in whirlwind 8-day trip”

So it would appear that Mr. Dress-up needs to go take some selfies at Machu Picchu. It’s all the rage these days.

Someone please warn Queen Elizabeth that Sock Boy is on his way.

  14. So, when’s the Italian Leader’s debate (actually the Irish are ahead of them, but that’s just first generation I think).

Oh there will be an Irish debate. Three days after the Chinese debate?

“We invited all the leaders to discuss the concerns of the Black community. We’re disappointed that one of the leaders won’t be there,” Morgan said. “We’re missing out because Doug Ford could be the premier of the province.”

We had all kinds of attack slogan questions and talking over points, so naturally we’re disappointed.

In lieu of you attendance, could you answer a few questions for ridicule, I mean discussion, at our identity group think – debate?

    In writing please.

    – Why are you racist?
    – When was the last time you did coke?
    – When did you stop dealing drugs?

    Oh, right on policy,

    – Why won’t you admit you’re a racist?
    – Where’s our reparations?
    – How come we can’t have everything we want for free because some rich person (aka a person with something we want), doesn’t deserve it, won’t miss and it somehow won’t affect the GDP?
    – and finally, is your real name Adolph? We heard that, nobody’s denying it so ….

    1. This is good. I am glad Ford is not falling for the identity politics game. Blacks do not need their own debate to bring their concerns forward.
