I was watching BNN this morning, which in general the only news station in Canada I can stand to watch and not hit the kill switch. Today seems to be different as it seems to be next to non stop Liebrils profonicating on there marvellous negotiations and accomplishments with various trade deals and how they have included climate protection and gender protections . This is then followed by the congruent stances on NAFTA and tough talk on how this deal shall proceed. I this vien Frank McKenna was bemoaning Americans and Donald Trump in particular for taking advantage of Canada by buying our oil at a huge discount and basically demanding exclusive rights to our oil. HELLO – I am likley pretty stupid but as far as I can see the fact we can’t get our oil to tidewater is a made in Canada problem . And yes it has cost our country hundreds of billions. We are so screwed and we are basically doing it to ourselves.
The Indian government has been front and center with protectionism, essentially blocking yellow peas(50% tariff), lentils and chick peas(30% tariff) from entering their market and that in turn has dropped the farm gate price for those commodities here in Canada.

BNN is hardly tolerable, it is the “business” voice of CTV, which says nothing about its narrative. It’s pro Liberal and Pro pot, all the time.
The news about “Trudy saves the TPP” is such a joke, watching all the Liberal fan boys and Pom Pom girls cheer on PM Soy boy. All the while, the truth goes more like this.
Signing into the TPP wasn’t nothing but an attempt at a face saving gesture. “Missing” the meet8ng was an insult to every country at the original talks. But hey, when you have the media to cover for you, Michel, Mercedes and Lisa, it’s clear sailing.

Global warming is not a threat as big as terrorism, population replacement trough mass immigration/invasion and islamization.
global warming if it is real ( I seriously doubt it is ) is a minuscule threat.
the truth is they are using the fear of global warming to distract the gullible masses from the fact the real threats are terrorism and population replacement ( I prefer race replacement because only the white race is being replaced ) and islamization.
all three of those things can happen quickly and change everything within a few years or even a few months…global warming would take centuries thus we would have plenty of time to adapt.

He’s completely right of course. Barriers to trade do far more damage than terrorists can. Too bad he’s a hypocrite who puts up plenty of barriers of his own to trade.
