  1. The most notable thing about that story is the long list of comments from Canadian readers disavowing JJ. McCullough as a “right-wing” crank who isn’t representative of Canada, and certainly isn’t a “real” journalist.
    There were almost no comments about the fact that virtually every single major news story in Canada about islamophobia in the past several years has been a hoax or just plain wrong.

The Canadian journos are mad because when people like JJ create their own profile it exposes the shallowness, tiredness, boring nature, biased approach and lack of talent in the Canadian media and its industry bubble. It also puts paid to their lie that they are protectors of the public holding government accountable. They aren’t – as can be seen whenever they leap to the Liberals defense.

    When I first saw J.J. McCullough on SunTV I thought, well what have we got here, Sun’s resident hippy anarchist? However I quickly came to appreciate his reporting and wit and looked forward to his visits.

  19. A tactless and unwarranted comment from Inkless. Very disappointing. I was unable to read JJ’s piece (firewall), but the headline sounds about right. When will Canadian news sources notice this problem?
