Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Behold our public education system on full display
It was called the Blue Eagle campaign. People were encouraged to patronize businesses that displayed the Blue Eagle. If it wasn’t displayed, Roosevelt basically called them un-American.
Early Leftist propaganda.
The Media Matters blunder is only made worse by the fact that a simple search for “NRA” on Google immediately brings you the link to the National Rifle Association at the top of your search results – as well as their badge prominently displayed in the top right-hand corner!
I had to scroll down through several pages before I even garnered a single mention of the National Recovery Administration.* Before that, three or four pages in, I encountered the Nuclear Regulation Authority (Japan) and the National Retail Association (Australia).
In fact, almost 20 pages on, I gave up trying to find the FDR-era NRA on Google. To get that NRA at the top of the page with its distinctive blue eagle emblem, you have to actually enter “National Recovery Administration”. So God knows how Media Matters engineered this cock-up!
* And that first mention was – ta da! – Cuffy’s item above!
That was no mistake by media matters. It was put out there on purpose.

“It was put out there on purpose.”

that same rake they’d figure it out.”
