  6. Arguably, it also shows why Jesus had to die. Being human, Mohammed was able to be turned and corrupted. Jesus was perfected (should that be capitalized? I don’t know) before Evil could turn him. Mohammed’s early words are diametrically opposed to his early ones. Almost as if the source of the message had changed to someone that believed and promoted the opposite.

    Even take all the “beliefs” out of the equation….. the teachings of Jesus make the world a better place. I am far from a scholar of Christ and Sunday school was 40 some years ago but the ten commandments are the core of western civilized society.

    The Government of Canada already screens potential immigrants in order to keep out criminals. The result is lower crime rate for immigrants.

  32. Canada is already living partly under the Sharia Law of blasphemy now.
    In the 1980s, refugees, especially women, fleeing the Islamic Republic of Iran found sympathetic treatment from the MSM. They were interviewed and told of the treatment under Sharia law and by the religious police.
    That included how execution of religious minorities e.i. Christians, Zoroastrians and those Muslims opposing Sharia law.
    After 9/11, within ten years, the Muslim population in Canada doubled. Some fleeing Sharia to freedom. Others arriving as hijra, to step by step impose Sharia law in Canada.
    The left-overs decided to adopt Islam/Muslims as an “oppressed victim”. 1400 years, of Islamic Supremacism/Imperialism was veiled(pun intended).
    Interviews critical of Sharia have almost completely ceased. Those publicly opposing Sharia law in Canada are subject to death threats, both Muslim and non-Muslim.
    The Islamists/practitioners of political Islam, the M.B. successfully infiltrated by the Liberals and the NDP and the MSM.
    Within a few years after 9/11, public discussion/criticism of Sharia law became suppressed. So much so now that (Mecca) Muslims who oppose Sharia law in Canada are prevented or severely limited in the media and even before Parliamentary Committees.
    The examples of Canada’s two most prominent anti-Sharia Muslims are Tarek Fatah and Prof. Salim Mansur and Raheel Raza. Both not only insulted by Liberal Parliamentary Committee members, but also having the Liberal M.P.s use up most of the allotted time to speak.
    Sharia law is imposed in Canada, without being in the formal ‘black letter’ of the law. It is done so by intimidation, beatings and sometimes murder, e.i. “honour killings of Iqsa Parvez for refusing to wear the hijab and Shafia teen daughters and first wife, Rona Amir by Mo. Shafia. Those examples, among others, send a chill throughout the Muslim community.
    Are the Islamists, the M.B./Salafis/Deobandi/Wahhabi et al, a minority of the Muslims in Canada? Yes, but they don’t care as Sharia rejects in principle the concepts of a classic liberal democracy.
    Via political Islam (the M.B.)being adopted by the Liberals, the NDP and the MSM. The Sharia law of blasphemy is largely, though not completely, in effect now in Canada.
    From both reading online comments Canada wide, and speaking with people locally, I know that there are aspects of Sharia law against women being applied to women passengers by a subset of taxi drivers in Canada. It is one of the reasons that many women support Uber being legally allowed in Canada. Everyone following the issue knows this, but no MSM will discuss it.
    I could go on with other examples of step by step Sharia(Stealth Jihad) in Canada but I’ve other things to do, and Kate doesn’t pay commentators by the word 🙂

  35. Partly true. The world of Jesus was awful and full of brutality and barbarism. The act of improving the world around him had to begin with that which could survive in that world.
    I’ll start you off with a simple test. According to Objectivism, is a system that allows for slavery valid? If might and “my personal choices set the rules” are correct, then there’s no reason for the strong to not enslave the weak. Particularly if you add “for their own good” on the end.
    Someday I’m sure you’ll recognize the weaknesses and inconsistencies at the hear of Objectivism, as I and many other former followers have. It’s a step along the way to intellectual maturity, but it’s inherently so selfish that it cannot be maintained long-term. The cries of “it’s never been done right” are identical to those who promote selfishness through socialism (with themselves on top).
    That it has never worked on the large scale, save through fiction and other fantasy, is a clue to why it cannot work. The author gets to define the thoughts of all in a fantasy world. In the real word, many people get to look at the ideas and ideals, and decide whether they want to live under it.
    Keep looking, and questioning, but please learn to answer questions. You’re about 25 years behind where I am now. Hopefully you’ll experience a similar awakening/epiphany. Note that I am not claiming to know all, I’m not God. But I learn from what has passed. Your current believe system is in my past.
