Yea it would, for the most part Russians believe in the traditional normal family unit and gender roles and have laws to protect that and their culture from the heathens that run rampant over here. Most of the citizens over here of the left or right both support garbage that is ruining our countries and culture. Try very publicly disagreeing with any western culture destroying thing the left can come up with and see how much support you get other than the safety of blog comment sections. There are way more “leftist conservatives” out there than there are of us that read this blog.
On youtube their are some neat channels from russian folks. Two channels I like are “real russia” and “different russia”. They show us regular stuff that regular Russian people do. I separate the citizenry from the government. Far more citizens of Russia still believe in normalcy than over here in Canada and the US.
