  1. Related – there is a Russian company that has begun aggressively purchasing the rights to major sports leagues including NFL Sunday ticket, and several European football leagues, Serie ‘A’, the Spanish league among others. My son just subscribed – it’s going to cost about 1/3 what Rogers was charging for their sports package. Only hockey is really missing from anything I might care about.
Others will follow, ESPN is dead, they just don’t know it yet.

  2. ESPN’s market =
    1. The unemployed (mostly uneducated people ovvvvv cullller) at home in the afternoon
    2. College “student-athletes” (ovvvv ALL cullllers) … majoring in “mass media”
    3. WNBA aficiandos (read ‘L’ ov the LGBTQIAQQUUFFUUUUUU-U)
    4. 11yo boys watching the teams they lost-to in the Little League World Series
    5. Fan boys of a plethora of fringe “sports” you’ve never heard-of.
Good luck with that market share

  3. 6-7-2016 ? A proud, boastful, ratings article from June 2016 … looking back to the prior half of the year ? Prior to Colin Kaepernick and the NFL boycott he induced. Prior to the ESPN boycott he induced. Just because you use irrelevant articles … it doesn’t make it so.

  4. YEs 12 months ago. Are you saying that ESPN’s viewship has completely changed to what you outlined in 12 months.
Balderdash unless you have the stats to back it up.
As I stated, ESPN has its problems. But to say that no one of relevance watches them is ridiculous.

  5. ESPN has shed viewers … and … employees (post 6-2016):

I even gave you a liberal news outlet (NPR) … and if you own stock in Disney, ESPN’s owner, you might want to get out sooner rather than later.
