Lawrence is a weasel. The ADL eh? Looking at their homepage tells me all I need to know about them – Gavin McInnes, Mike Cernovich, Milo Yiannopoulos and others I don’t know, are plastered up there like an FBI’s most wanted under the banner of “Naming the Hate”.

It seems pretty simple. Can an executive order be used to decertify any university that stops someone from speaking? Drain the swamp. Pick Harvard say. When they stop someone from speaking; fire every Harvard graduate who works anywhere. Start making them live up to their own rules.

The ADL … and the Southern Poverty Law Center are race pimp org’s. Their “stistics” that were read about hundreds of “racist” and “white supremacist” symbols and incidents on campuses across the country is just so much make-believe CRAPOLA!!! And to then declare that MORE “racist” messages have been received after “the election” … is just left wing BULLSH!tt. I am willing to bet that 99% of their so-called “racist” messages were self-inflicted. Just like virtually every “sexual assault” reported by lesbians are totally made-up … so is the idea that “racism” is rampant on campus. Total make-believe. The average American feels about “race” the same way we feel about “sexual orientation” … just get on with it already. We don’t give a sh!t about the tone of your skin, or who scissors your timbers. Only the race pimps are racist. The rest of us moved on with it all longggg before Obama showed up to remind us he was a mixed race melting pot of a man.

So – the topic is free speech on campus. The black Congresswoman tries to switch the topic to racism. There is a whole bureaucracy in place to deal with racism but nothing to deal with free speech. I’m sure she’s a fascist who loves seeing white people getting beaten and shouted down despite what she says.
I’m not sure the process but what needs to be done is making federal accreditation contingent on schools having mechanisms in place to ensure freedom of speech. In addition, all federal funds, including student loans, should be withheld from schools not enforcing freedom of speech.

Speaking of Milo, I’m in the process of reading his book DANGEROUS” He origionally wanted the title of it to be DANGEROUS FAGGOT but the publishers wouldn’t touch it.
In any event, he explains the likes of these people and their motives quite succinctly.

Hate speech is a non-issue. The old adage is simple: sticks and stones may break my bones, but names (words) will never hurt me. I teach Arnis and Kenpo TIso I can speak to the difference directly. Words can only become a problem if the recipient internalizes or finds some truth in their private application. For example, standing in line in Miami for a flight to Bolivia in 2005, an Hispanic speaker called me, to my face, Diablo, meaning devil or demon. I don’t know why they said it, but unless there is some truth, it is only air, wind, invective, diatribe, and without substance, unless…I take it personally (which I did not).
Dr. Lawrence mistakes the issue. He cannot determine intent because it is an internal matter, hidden in the shroud of the mind. Unless the individual speaks repeatedly and shows us a pattern, or states their intentions, or is subjected to water boarding or chemical interrogation, we can seldom judge motive or intent with 100% accuracy. Second, institutions must enforce consistent rules for all students regardless of stripe (the law must be blind) or bias is interjected (again a personal choice), and it is bias that creates further issues, greater than enforcement of simple rules. Third, speech is not violence. It is at its best moments, truth, and for the rest, opinion, and opinion is like a nose, everyone has one and it must be treated as such. Finally, issues of legality, at the civil or criminal level, must be left with law enforcement and the courts. Schools injecting themselves into this arena are not equipped to act properly. To let them become quasi-judicial entities is problematic. They seldom reach correct conclusions and lack the training required to make proper conclusions.
