A German town’s summer fair turned violent over the weekend, with multiple sexual assaults reported. A group of youths also attacked visitors and officers, with police stating that many of the offenders were migrants.
The violence occurred while residents of Schorndorf in the southern German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg celebrated the town’s weeklong fair, referred to as Volksfest (People’s Festival).
So … the only solution offered by Frau Merkel is to teach your 17yo German daughters to … dress “responsibly”. Like a good little Muslim wife in waiting. Oh … and to teach your daughters how to take a beating without complaining.

RT is credible on most issues. They often report with less bias than CNN. If you want a balanced view of what is happening in the world, RT offers it. The only area of skepticism would be their reporting on Russia. The Rebel has a different perspective than most Canadian MSM, but their stories are totally credible. They just are not politically correct. Frankly I think different perspectives are essential to a free press, and the Rebel offers about the only alternative voice in the otherwise MSM one-note universe.

I have been reading The Strange Death of Europe by Douglas Murray. It provides excellent background on the dilemma of unfettered immigration as is happening in Europe and elsewhere. (Of course the book is panned by the left . . . who alas are nevertheless forced to acknowledge that the book is erudite, well researched and elucidates a real problem. (This means that the left are reduced to snide slurs and picayune criticisms as they have no substantive counter to Murray’s arguments.) Particularly interesting is Murray’s account of all the tactics the Europeans have used over the years to pretend there is no problem. Exactly the same tactics are now playing out in Canada (such as pretending your own culture really has no core culture — The Brits and Scandanavians have both tried this, and we will not soon forget Trudeau’s remark about Canada having no core culture.) The similarities (between Canada and the EU countries) in attempting to sell (or deny) the profound impact of excessive immigration from those with very different cultures are haunting. Read this book to discover what is ahead for us under the current Liberal regime.

The problem we are facing is that there is a great percentage of the Western population that believe the “comforting lies” delivered by leftist politicians rather than the “uncomfortable truth” as espoused by those of us on the right. As we approach the breaking point the left is doubling down on the lies and more and more people are believing the lies they hear rather than the truth they see. The bottom line is that Western leftist socialist policies are nothing more than international Nazism. Any sane thinking person that can’t look at the history of Germany in the Twenties and Thirties and see the similarities of what is happening across the globe is deluded beyond belief. I’ll get a lot of criticism and flack over that statement, but that is because it is one of the uncomfortable truths that the great unwashed don’t want to hear.

Europe does not have ‘unfettered immigration’. This is a lie. Germany until recently had a 1913 law in force preventing anyone without German blood from gaining citizenship.

Given the love many Europeans have for mob violence and degeneracy, it is premature to blame this on migrants. Further, RT is not reliable or credible. They are a Russian government mouthpiece. Still better than The Rebel I guess.
Read the book. Your understanding of the issue immigration issue in the EU is skewed. EU countries are obliged to accept asylum seekers. It’s a dilemma, because increasingly they are not able to cope with the material (housing, jobs, etc.) and cultural (social clashes) challenge.
As I said, it is reasonable to question RT on issues related to the Russian government, but on other issues, they can be quite good. It is predictable for the left to sneer at Rebel, but they are pretty much the ONLY voice in Canada covering a number of important issues. They were recently investigating the treatment of Christians in Iraq. Has any other MSM bothered to do this — or anything at all that could be called investigative journalism? Canadians are terrible conformists in their thinking and as a result, our media has become very lazy — even to the point of ignoring serious issues. The Rebel provides some small effort at balance, but they are too small and unknown to many.

In fact there has been research on it. When you know the background on a story, you will often discover errors and omissions as the story is presented by the media. You have targetted Sun with your comment, but exactly the same thing happens elsewhere, including at the CBC. Like it or not, news reporting is not objective. That is why having multiple sources for news with different perspectives is so valuable.
