  1. A WWII song by Vera Lynn
A WWII RCAF Lancaster pilot once told that they could hear songs from British radio stations as they were flying back from bombing missions over Germany. Imagine this song mixed in with the roar of four Rolls Royce Merlin V-12s. Enjoy!!

  2. Tarek Fatah speaks out about the motion M103. He is honest to a degree, and I say “to a degree” because he is still a practicing Muslim who believes that both Mohammed (PBAHD) and Jesus were prophets.
Tarek is a dipper, but one who is actually more a communist than a socialist from what I’ve heard him say. Some of you might want to listen to him speak at the M103 seminar held by Muslims if you haven’t already.

  3. More fallout from the continual disrespect toward Trump from Canada’s PM and it’s National propaganda network. The US is sick and tired Canadian liberalism. Canada is no longer seen as America’s friend. They’re going to put economic and political pressure on Canada. Only naive fools would believe there would be no repercussions for that disrespectful attitude. Payback has just begun.

The Screams of Little Girls in Little Palestine
    Posted by Daniel Greenfield
Livonia, Michigan is known as Little Palestine. The Detroit suburb is famous for its anti-Israel meetings. You could go hear Mustafa Barghouthi, Omar Barghouti and Ali Abunimah without taking a long drive.
It’s also known for its shady doctors.
Dr. Murtaza Hussain was busted for letting unlicensed employees diagnose patients and write prescriptions. Dr. Waseem Alam and Dr. Hatem Ataya pleaded guilty in the nation’s largest Medicare fraud case totaling $712 million in false billings centering on Shahid Tahir, Muhammad Tariq and Manavar Javed’s Livonia medical firms. But what was going on at one Livonia clinic was far worse than the theft of millions. Anyone passing by at the right time could hear the screams of little girls. …

  5. I don’t care what somebody does in their spare time but when the PM flaunts a relatively obscure practice then internet searches lead to some hilarious places

As I said I couldn’t care less what he does with his spare time, it’s just a distraction from other more substantive issues. But if he wants us to look at cupping who am I to deny my PM’s request to embrace our diversity.

  6. Yeah. Ain’t it the trut. I can hardly wait for Unome to spring to the defense. He’s very culturally sensitive.

  7. The issue is not M103 but restrictions on free speech in Canada. Canada did not have free speech even before Idiot Khalid was elected MP.
As for Tarek Fatah; don’t even touch him with a barge pole since he has provided material support to a terrorist organisation.

  8. There us no validity to the claim that Trump anti-woman. That is just another smear, likely fostered by the Trump hating MSM.

  9. Regarding the softwood lumber countervailing duty, a CTV item gives a clue as to part of the issue.
Alexandre Moreau, a public policy analyst with the Montreal Economic Institute, tells CTV News Channel that the U.S. countervailing duties are really just a protectionist measure. “We’re quick to criticize Trump for tariffs on softwood lumber,” he said. “But at the same time we’re imposing tariffs of up to 300 per cent on the dairy products.”
    Tit for tat?

  10. “But at the same time we’re imposing tariffs of up to 300 per cent on the dairy products.”
But protection of agriculture was part of NAFTA. Works both ways. In 2015 Canada exported $28 billion in agricultural products to the US and imported $26 billion from them.
The US is countervailing softwood lumber because of imagined subsidies. Why don’t we countervail California produce because the subsidies are real and substantial. All the money spent on water for farmers and the winking at illegal workers who harvest the crops are a couple that come to mind.

  11. The Americans have lost every NAFTA dispute proceeding. For decades these US lumber protectionists, sorry, fair traders, refuse to face facts.
Trump got taken in by one of the most idiotic lobby groups. Why does his want to fill the swamp? Why does he want US housebuilding prices to rise?
The American softwood lumber industry didn’t modernize as they should have over 20 years ago and have been crying about it ever since.
The truth is American builders prefer Canadian softwood lumber. That is known as a competitive and a comparative advantage.
I am very disappointed in the Trump administration. Our PM and his gang were also asleep at the switch and enabled this tit for tat ruling.
We could have moved on our dairy subsidies to head this off. Instead we get wacked by this subsidy and dumping garbage. Nice move Justin.
Nothing from the Grits yet. Deer in the headlights anyone? Actually be a leader Mr PM and demand a meeting with Trump right now to stop this BS.

A lack of pipeline infrastructure has led to untenable electricity prices in the northeast and new projects are needed to reverse the problem, the US Chamber of Commerce said today in a report from its Institute for 21st Century Energy.
The report criticizes environmentalists for opposing new fossil-fuel installations.
“As a result, residents in the northeast are paying the highest electricity rates in the continental US, with no relief in sight if infrastructure is not built,” said Karen Harbert, president of the institute.
Increased use of US gas has not led to higher GHG emissions but instead has helped lower US emissions to mid-1990s levels by reducing consumption of coal for electricity generation, the report said. While overall US emissions are lower, natural gas emissions have risen each year since 2009 and almost equaled coal in 2015, according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).
Every day I get an API (American Petroleum Institute, Washington DC) Smart Brief email, sometimes twice a day. It’s mind boggling to witness the reversal in what information and updates are contained in the smart briefs. I have been receiving them for probably 5-6 years since they moved everything to their online portal for members. I am an API certified inspector for ASME codes and my accreditation is held thru that governing body (API).
Anyways, up until Trump was elected it contained legislative updates around permitting requests, acceptance, denials, new EPA rules and a mish mash of projects and updates on rig counts, shale basins and mergers and acquisitions. The past 3 months have seen a dramatic turn in the updates. Project after project after project approved, EPA rules removed with the stroke of a pen. The turnaround has been profound. People in my industry are moving there, to the US, as certified personnel (look up CGSB Level 2 NRCAN highest standard of certification in the world) performing Non-Destructive Examination techniques on welds (pipeline, vessels, piping, tanks) as the demand for their asset integrity services have skyrocketed.
Guys that I spent my own company’s damn money on training and mentoring for the past 20 years are plying their trade in the good ole US of A and training their people on their latest equipment using their latest techniques and procedures. What a kick in the teeth. They all got 3 year work Visa’s because of lack of qualified personnel stateside for the amount of work that has kicked off. They would never have considered it just 2 years ago but there’s nothing happening here in the energy patch in Canada. Here, we’ve been issued a sedative. We are in hibernation mode.
Also, Manitoba hydro, Quebec Hydro and NL Hydro all added extra hydro dam capacity in past 5 years coming on over next couple of years that were sold to the public as being able to sell excess power into NE US. What will they do when the excess power has to compete with co-generation (Natural gas and steam) infrastructure that will follow the Nat gas pipelines into the NE USA? Those provincial ratepayers will be straddled with outrageous energy bills to make up for loss of KW sales.
    We are so screwed. Wow!

  15. The thorn has always been the low pricing of stumpage fees on crown land. Notice that the US has no issue with softwood from eastern canada where the rights holders to the wood are not the crown.
As for perishable ag imports – of course Canada doesn’t object – it has no local sources for those products 11 months of the year.

The idiot Americans think they can stir the pot in Russia’s playground, Syria, and have no consequences. Why do the Americans insist on making Russia an enemy? Why couldn’t John McCain’s balls have gotten blow off when he got shot down. It might have stop his urge to want to go to war.
