  1. North Korean aircraft crossing the border at 1200 mph could have a nuke over Seoul in 105 seconds. How’s your reaction time? Maybe we don’t want to frig with North Korea.

  2. While the NK rhetoric concerns me, I’m also reminded of Saddam Hussein, who made similar threats more than 25 years ago. The rain of fire that he promised to bring onto the coalition forces never occurred nor, it would appear, was it even possible.

  3. So the thumb sucking little twit didn’t get to set off his (nuclear) firecracker for Grampa’s birthday. Now would not be a good time to be a general in said tyrant’s armed forces. Expect purges in the immediate future.
Using the 10 point must system, round one goes to Trump.

  4. And your thoughts on how to handle this despot who’s diligently working on ICBM’s? Be afraid of him and give him more time to develop the delivery systems? Hoping appeasement will ensure he eats you last scar? BOO!

  5. Since China enjoys seeing the West squirm at North Korea’s tub thumping let them figure it out. Don’t threaten North Korea – threaten China.

  6. scar >
“Maybe we don’t want to frig with North Korea.”
It’s too bad that no one rightly can trust our governments intelligence or MSM anymore, we might actually have informed opinions. Instead it’s all blind trust in those that harm our nations while endlessly taking from us.
If reports of nuclear threats from NK are indeed accurate and true, then the US has every right to defend itself.
If the threat reports are not true then we have just dumped 20 million crazy cultists with 50 years PTSD onto the world. Then watch China push a million “refugees” onto lapdog Trudeau.
It’s a tough call for nations lied to by our Progressive governments, filled with citizens who think we actually have any say in the matter.
Personally I believe the future nuke threat to be true, but that the US should assassinate (I know illegal) the NK leadership, cruise missiles or whatever works.

  7. Joe, I think if NK forces tried to nuke Seoul, which they wouldn’t, at worst the Chinese AF (or US?) would pre-emptively destroy the NK bomber(s).
IOW possible, so be aware, but not probable.
Chinese ears are no doubt listening everywhere. The Americans are big time surveilling; the CIA wants to hire Obama for special expertise (ha ha).
The military is actually in charge of NK, and they do China’s bidding, and the Un-leader is but their rotund front, while his generals smile for their idiot.
When it comes to nukes, can and do are far apart, at least since Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Apparently some of his “nuclear” tests were conventional.
The NK and their wine swiller paraded their “ICBM” inventory today, or were they cardboard cutouts, inspired by Patton’s Ghost army?
Formidable from afar, fakery up close, just like NK, their leader and their military.
They know those who aren’t fried after a counter attack will go up against a wall. That my friends is called deterrence.
The “ICBMs” haven”t yet been tested, if the article is correct. Some of their missile tests have gone quite poorly.
Un should have opted for poor man’s nukes, chemical and biological weapons.
Oh China said no? I understand they’re saying no a lot to NK these days, to their coal for instance, opting for USA Virginian.
World trade is be good for world peace – except in NK. Is their leader headed for the big sleep? That’s a more likely outcome that nuclear war.
Or is the whole bunch of them bellying up for more “aid?” Bombardier is standing by with tips on how to siphon off other peoples’ money.

  8. NK doesn’t need nukes to flatten Seoul and kill north if a million people. It has 15000 artillery pieces on the border capable of hitting seoul in 45 seconds quite probably many of them tipped with sarin et al gas.
Conservative estimates put the death toll of a full on attack of between 1 to 2 million IN THE FIRST HOUR. Including 10000 American troops.
Sobering stuff but letting nk have nukes that can cross oceans and exportable to Iran et al simply can’t be permitted. Even china knows this and I think trump is right to deal direct with china to stop it from happening.

  9. Even china knows this and I think trump is right to deal direct with china to stop it from happening.
John Batchelor’s show had several items on this matter.
The speculation was that Trump threatened Xi economically, such as through tariffs or sanctioning certain goods. That would have hurt China’s revenues.
After their meeting, China decided to buy coal from West Virginia as well as move large numbers of troops towards the Yalu River. Coincidence?

  10. One thing Trump understands better than most is, at the end of the day, money talks. Where is the monetary potential in NK? If UN wants to stick his finger of the dyke and mess with cash flow, he is going to encounter the spanking his mommy never gave him.

  11. Lost in translation-
Kim ill promised … “shrawk and aww” to the Great American Father. And our carrier group never hesitated. Totally inscrutable … carry on.

  12. A SPANKING!! LOL!
That’s what that pudgy pecker-head needs – a PUBLIC spanking, so embarrassing that the whole world laughs at him. And Trump seems to be the only leader with enough balls to do it.
Trouble is, he has real missiles that aren’t quite intercontinental, and real nukes that don’t quite fit on their missiles – YET, but they’re working on that as fast as they can.
So any spanking has got to set these developments back so far that the belligerent butterball can’t afford to fix it. a few dozen cruise missiles should do the trick, with one specially designed to make a soft landing in the middle of Kim Il Sung square with a message: “Dear Dumbo; this could have been a 500 kiloton special delivery! Like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iE_bw4ME9v8
Would that be enough “Loss of Face”?

  13. The MOAB reports are now getting more accurate ~100 ISIS were toasted (that should crimp recruitment).. The F35’s are heading for EU & ME… Most likely why they left the Airfield in Syria not damaged..
Kim doesn’t want to be Kin-chi… The USA will fire from under the ocean, Kim will only have time to drop his chop sticks & say oh-shit. NK has been repeatedly warned.. Time is up when Trump drops the hammer
Trump is dead serious and Mad Dog is after his first big bone!
    JMHO

  14. “Yuppers scar, a BIG egg strapped to the belly of a Cessna 206 would arrive at 1200 MPH The norks don’t have heavy supersonic bomber to deliver crude nukes.”
Nukes aren’t necessarily all that big. The nuke missiles Canada had were all of 2 or so feet in diameter. 155mm nukes are 6 inches in diameter. North Korea has Sukhoi Su-7 – 1335 mph – One 8U69 5-kiloton nuclear bomb could be carried on the left fuselage hardpoint. Make that, they could have a nuke over Seoul in 94 seconds. How’s your reaction time?

  15. i>Nukes aren’t necessarily all that big. The nuke missiles Canada had were all of 2 or so feet in diameter.
The Bomarcs were acquired by the RCAF to fill part of the role that would have served by the Avro Arrow. Two squadrons were deployed, though originally without nukes due to Dief’s objections.
When Pearson succeeded him as PM, he agreed to allow nuclear warheads onto Canadian soil. The catch was that they were stored and controlled by the USAF.
They didn’t stay in service very long. Trudeau had them decommissioned in 1971, though the Bomarc program ended soon after that.

  16. If it was up to me, I would simply ignore the deranged little turd. Let him bluster and threaten if it makes him feel important and powerful. Pretend that he and his backward little country don’t even exist. Above all, don’t draw lines in the sand and don’t bother with issuing warnings and promising consequences. That approach just seems to empower him and make him more belligerent. The maniacal little shit knows full well what will happen if he does something really stupid. Deal with the Chinese and make it quite clear that it is in everyone’s best interests to keep their dog on a short leash or, better yet, persuade the Chinese to facilitate a regime change. I’m sure that even they have grown weary of the North Korean antics.

  17. A marine I was working with a few years ago I think 2012 said the last time North Korea started saber rattling the USA flew a b2 bomber over Kim Jong ill house …..the rattleing stopped pretty quick. Just sayin.
North Korea would be destroyed in a few hours.

  18. Do not even think about the possibility of making deals with the Chinese, they are, as a country the most devious, untrustworthy, most manipulating nation the world has ever known. When you lie down with dogs expect to get fleas!

  19. IF Fatty Whitewalls is the real power in NorKo then I wouldn’t be surprised to hear of a coup or assassination.
IF Fatty Whitewalls is merely the face of a Brand(real power behind the dictatorship)then I would expect that South Korea and Japan are safe because the NorKs can’t afford to actually hurt their hostage/human shield nations or they would then be naked against an overwhelming response from the general world community which would see them as an international pariah. Few nations hate Japan and South Korea.
However, China/PRC hates Japan/South Korea and sees them thus:
    a) Japan did unspeakable war crimes against the Chinese in WWII. The PRC wants revenge.
    b) South Korea was an enemy which prevented the PRC from annihilating the entire Korean culture and absorbing Korea in toto to the ChiCom sphere of influence in the original Korea War in the ’50s was/is their goal.
Japan/South Korea are very close culturally. They are so close that the Yakuza are the major organized crime unit in both Japan and South Korea. The Yakuza are unreconstructed old style gangsters in the old tradition, blackmail is the Yakuza’s main money making gambit and they use blackmail because it exploits the terror that Asians have as a culture, the great fear of losing face .
The NorKs only independent play is to nuke the Carl Vincent carrier task force, not attack Japan or South Korea and then still maintain Japan and South Korea as hostage nations under threat, a threat that would be given weight and credence after annihilating the Carl Vincent task force with WMDs, just as Trump’s threat has obtained weight and credence after the missile attack on the Syrian Air Base and the dropping of the MOAB on the ISIS formation in Afghanistan.
In Brinksmanship, one does not play all of their cards at once or spend their Ace-in-the-Hole first or lightly.
Ironically or counter intuitively, the threat to these American Allies is really a spur to American action rather than a damper on it. The cultural gulf between Occidental and Oriental culture being so wide that the NorKs do not evaluate American motives to be what they are in actuality. The NorKs simply do not understand western culture. It is alien to them. They have no frame of reference.
All along, the goal of the NorKs has been to unite the Koreas under one flag/one culture. To succeed in gaining the war goals of the original Korean War.
For China/PRC it is the same. To obtain the original goals of the Korean War and have all of the lower continent free of Occidental influence.

  20. I concur with your opinion of the Chinese however I think that they are capable of listening to the voice of reason and have no interest in the region being turned into a shit storm simply in a futile attempt to unite North and South Korea.

  21. I don’t think regarding NK is it necessary to “trust” China, just to say what Trump said: do something about NK or the US will. Fair enough imho.
But I agree that, unless a true NK threat exists, then ignore their dinosaur regime and the pipsqueak leader. Too bad for their people though.

  22. Trump’s “gun boat diplomacy” is doing well & cheaply, too. A few gallons of JP-4, one(1) C-130, one(1) MOAB, a single(1) carrier group plus consumables (training flights galore) for a couple of weeks, 59 old Tomahawks past their “use before” date.
Price of lefty heads exploding & hair on fire? Priceless!
    MAGA!
Probability of Chinese, South China Sea real estate holdings….sitting ducks.
