  1. David Brock had a heart attack and rumor is he’s dead Jim. This is the best timeline.

  2. I’ve always preferred Harry Nilsson’s version of the song, but, then, that was the one that was played on the radio in the town where I grew up.

  3. Thanks for the memories that brings back. Badfinger was one of the most underrated bands of that era. “Stright Up” was one of my favorite albums.

  4. Question for Paul in Calgary:
1.8 billion defenseless, innocent unborn have been murdered. Who is responsible?
    A. Muslims
    B. Non-Muslims
    (That’s 1,800,000,000.)
One death is a tragedy, a billion is a statistic.

  5. Mouthpiece MSM and leftist elite/establishment views Mohammed as a good buddypal.

  6. Ironic that one day after the attack after Scotland Yard admitting the suspect was known to them after several arrests being made and ISIS taking responsibility the identity of the pos perp remains a mystery. I say ironic because this seems to be the standard procedure when this crap happens.
Yeah I know “bu bu bu but islamiphobia! !!!”

  7. Badfinger….. no finer case anywhere of money trumping art in the rock n roll industry. Truly a band plagued by tragedy.
As per leftards and the muslim invasion, they have their heads so far up their asses that they’ve convinced themselves they see daylight at the other end.

  8. Scratch a terrorist, find a Liberal.
Accompanied by the fake news spouting Canadian Media Party.
“The war is between London and the rest of the country. Between the liberals and the right-minded. Between those who think it is more important to tip-toe around the cultures of those who choose to join us, rather than defend our own culture.
Katie Hopkins says these incidents are no longer unusual, but commonplace
    How many more times?
And how many more attacks must pass before we acknowledge these are no longer the acts of ‘extremists’? That there is no safe badge with which to hold these people at arm’s length, in the way the liberals casually use the term ‘far-right’ for anyone who has National pride.”

  9. I often maintain that there are more good bands from the 60s and 70s that have been forgotten about than there are in existence today.

  10. That song never did anything for me (Sorry, but I gotta be honest, IMHO it sucked then and it sucks now)
I was crusin’ in my Camaro to the tunes of:
Beatles (i.e. I Feel Fine, Ticket to Ride, Paperback Writer, Day Tripper, For No One, Taxman, I’ve Just Seen a Face, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, etc.), Rolling Stones, CCR, Three Dog Night, Eric Burdon, Janis Joplin, Who, Elton John, Derek & the Dominos, Yes, Pink Floyd, Emerson, Lake & Palmer.
Those were MY good ol’ days!

  11. Yup, I was crusin’ to all of those plus Badfinger.
Thanks to the internet and u-tube we can still enjoy them even tho our hair is grey or gone.

  12. “Motion to condemn Islamophobia passes in House of Commons”
Good-bye, Canada. It was nice knowing you.
