  1. the first thing one has to realize is that this person, these people, are quite insane. there are two genders and only two, and there will continue to be two for as long as humans remain on earth.

  2. Arithmetic is elementary
    Biology is sex(y)
Psychology is confusing to some (gender)

  3. “2 sexes.
male and female are sexes, not genders.”
    Indeed.
The widespread use of “gender” as a synonym for “sex” is a 20th Century development in English. It seems to have begun as a prudery to avoid saying “sex” because of its erotic connotations.
Ever since, we have been conflating (biological) sex with (largely grammatical) gender.
    Sex: male, female.
Gender: masculine, feminine, common, neuter etc., etc.

  4. Charge $50 for the tickets and refund it 100% – AFTER the butt occupied the chair throughout the presentation.
Unless it involves other people’s money, guaranteed these lefties won’t pony up.

  5. Ms Nelson appears capable of denying the student body a lot more
than just one seat at any gathering she might chose to attend.

  6. These actions betray a fear of this “discipline” being exposed to the light of day, logic, and reason and the professoriate will have none of that!

  7. After teaching at a post-secondary institution for several years, nothing surprises me about academics any more. Many of my colleagues were nice, decent people, but there were those who were absolutely certifiable.

  8. As always, the wrong approach is taken when confronting SJW’s on free speech issues. “Who are you to tell me who I can and cannot listen to that is giving a speech?!” The better approach is to ask the reverse question, forcing them to criticize your position which they’d have to do since their position on the topic is diametrically opposed your own.
“My position is that I do not and would not stand in the way of you, as an adult, choosing whomever you want to listen to give a speech. Since your position is diametrically opposed to mine, you must therefore disagree with it. So tell me what your problem is with jy position: Is it too respectful and considerate? Which of those two things do you disagree with, if not both? And why?”

  9. “Which of those two things do you disagree with, if not both? And why?”
I have identified a problem with your approach, Mr. Wheel sir. You are assuming these are rational human beings, capable of reasoned cogitation. Sadly, those are facts not in evidence.
At best, the response will be “RAAAAACIST!!!!!” screamed in your face. Of late, the scream will be followed by spit and a rather untrained left hook. For questioning the Snowflake, you will receive their judgement: you are a Nazi, and all Nazis must die. Right now. No hesitation, no appeal.
I used to say that “hippy punching is never wrong,” but that was back when punching some random stranger in the face was something that never happened. Now we see it every day. Guys are getting laid out on the sidewalk for wearing the wrong hat.
The times they are a-changing, as the song goes. These days the proper approach when confronting an SJW is to first conduct a tactical assessment of the immediate area, making sure to have several good escape lanes for when they try to beat you to death.

  10. We don’t need no education
We don’t need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
    Teachers leave those kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave those kids alone
All in all you’re just another brick in the wall
All in all you’re just another brick in the wall

Every time I read a story like this, Pink Floyd’s anthem pops into my head. And here Roger Waters thought he was writing about “the establishment” … well “the establishment” has been thoroughly purged from our schools … and replaced with … far worse. Leftist thought control. I wonder if Rogers is happy about how the revolution is regressing ?

  11. Fair point. Of course they’re unreasonable. It’s more for the humor value, forcing SJW’s to verbally condemn “consideration” as it pertains to individual rights on free speech, especially when it comes to their own. That is, if you can even get them to stay on topic.

It actually started in the 1970’s among progressive psychologists as a deliberate attempt to deconstruct the reality of biological differences between the sexes.
It seems to have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams.

  13. (Gender) “… actually started in the 1970’s among progressive psychologists as a deliberate attempt to deconstruct the reality of biological differences between the sexes.”
Actually, I don’t have any problems with designating this particular creature as an ‘it’…

  14. I really hate when people base their vote on the looks of a candidate, however, I’ll make an exception here. Why are the wacky ones always ugly, fat pigs?

  15. “received a suggestion to reserve a seat as a student to “take a seat away from someone who would actually go” and then not attend the event.”
Leftists have always thought they were clever with this sort of tactic because such behavior was beneath the Right.
    Well no more.
The Right is going to bitch-slap you with your own tactics and we’ll see if you scumbags can take what you dish.
