You can see awkwardness reflected in the headlines that flew around the Internet Thursday. Some news agencies seemed split on whether to unequivocally declare that Russian hacking took place, or whether to hedge bets and put it all on the government to make that declaration, using “Obama says” formulations.
The New York Times was more aggressive, writing flatly, “Obama Strikes Back at Russia for Election Hacking.” It backed up its story with a link to a joint FBI/Homeland Security report that details how Russian civilian and military intelligence services (termed “RIS” in the report) twice breached the defenses of “a U.S. political party,” presumably the Democrats.
This report is long on jargon but short on specifics. More than half of it is just a list of suggestions for preventive measures.
At one point we learn that the code name the U.S. intelligence community has given to Russian cyber shenanigans is GRIZZLY STEPPE, a sexy enough detail.
But we don’t learn much at all about what led our government to determine a) that these hacks were directed by the Russian government, or b) they were undertaken with the aim of influencing the election, and in particular to help elect Donald Trump.
The problem with this story is that, like the Iraq-WMD mess, it takes place in the middle of a highly politicized environment during which the motives of all the relevant actors are suspect. Nothing quite adds up.
And then, there’s this discomforting question — who hacked Rolling Stone?

They have not received anything, not even the Fall of Israel, for the decades long grrooming and Upscale life style of the Obama Family. Possibly the Standard POTUS Pension will not be enhanced because of this Fecund Failure.
The left’s ideas have failed so many times, and so publicly, that they know that they won’t be able to garner support unless they are dealing with the clueless (explaining the state of modern education) or unless there’s a boogieman that can be pointed to that “wants to do bad things to you, and they caused this!”. Queue up the Russian (no longer communist, so valid for criticism) threat and hacking.
I wonder how long crap will continue before enough people catch on? On second thought, I’m in the city now, and there’s a disconnect between people’s choices and their survival. In rural places poor choices can kill. In cities they can hurt, but they’re rarely fatal.
Rolling Stone should just check in with HER. SHE was (admittedly) duped by George Bush and Colin Powell to vote FOR war in Iraq … but subsequently claimed SHE’d never be fooled again. So just check-in with HER! SHE’s got it all figured out … SHE knows WHY SHE lost. Sooo … if SHE knows her LOSS was due to cyber snooping at the highest levels of the Russian Government … then, SHE’ll confirm it!

Trump won 3084 counties in America and there is no way he could have won that many without help from the Russians and Israelis.
Poor Hillary only won 57 counties and it had to be cheating on a massive scale by the Israeli mafia and Darth Vader Putin.

It might make more sense as “A Riddle Wrapped In A Mystery Inside An Enema” At least that would explain where they pulled their “facts” about the hacking from, or where their heads were at when they wrote about it and “fake news”.

Obama imposes Russian sanctions because the email account of a non-governmental official of a party candidate was hacked due to his negligence, which they then argue was committed by the Russians with the express purpose of defeating Hillary Clinton. She did a pretty good job of beating herself, with Trump badly outworking her and her paucity of policy except for slogans and villainization of dissenters. Where’s the beef?
ANOTHER excuse why these morons lost not just the POTUS but the country, with 25 states now with GOP controlling legislatures and governorships.
Meanwhile Obama furiously signs regulations, orders and pardons on his last days, actually believing anyone gives a crap. He shows himself once and for all the Marxist he truly is, with its attendant, currently corollary Israel/Jew hatred, though they were once their darlings.
