Those poor souls.

Maybe, just maybe, if the dips in the media and politicians in Washington understood that this is representative of more than just an urban playground and a Pinterest slideshow they might have kept their jobs on K Street and their homes in Georgetown.
Now they will get the benefit of first-hand experience of what they’ve subjected the deplorables to.
It would be fitting if it ends for them the way it has for so many of the devastated: broke, divorced, overdosed, suicide.
I doubt they’ll suffer long, though, parasites always find hosts.

  1. The ripples from this election will be rolling through the corrupt political organizations for a very long time. This is the “Great Depression” of the political elites. I love it!

  2. Trump’s transition team is led by Pence and is composed of
Dr. Ben Carson, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Newt Gingrich, Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, USA (Ret.), Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions will join the team’s Executive Committee as Vice Chairs.
    Sounds pretty solid to me

  3. Is it too soon? Seems to me the post election analysis is missing a major point. The articles and comments I’ve seen all are about how the media was to blame, the polls were to blame, the celebrity endorsements, bad economy etc. All these things are collateral damage to the big reason. Hillary is a criminal and Trump called her on it. Yet no one I’ve read is recalling the downfall as being caused by her own deeds and words. It’s like the MSM is still serving her purposes by calling attention to all these other minor reasons and are still covering for their dear leader.
Am I just not seeing it and need to expand my reading list?

  4. With a little LUCK … Trump will establish a NEW paradigm for American politicians. One where our leaders have OTHER (real) jobs, and don’t need to SELL favors at taxpayer expense. There could not have been a sharper contrast in this regard between Trump and HER. SHE is an absolute political SLUT, spreading her charging Rhino legs. to reveal a honey pot filled with OUR tax dollars. OTOH … Trump owes nobody, nothing. Finally someone to do OUR business … not THEIR business !
America is in desperate NEED for someone who will show Fiscal restraint. We simply cannot afford to increase the National debt another $ 10 Trillion … thanks a fcking lot Obama.

  5. Just think of all those big Yachts & Planes the Media honcho’s have canceled. The ADV rate cards have tanked, who trusts the media Adv buy if >60 million reject the messenger….I expect to see some Media types wiping off cars @ my car wash…Bumble bees and all…
BTW: The in-your-face interaction between piss-ants does not work with a real CEO’s. Putting Trump between a rock & a hard place is self defeating.. Just saying…

  6. Hillary is a criminal and Trump called her on it.
That isn’t good enough for certain progressives as I found out earlier today. I was waiting in line at a grocery store checkout and I began chatting with some of my fellow customers.
I brought up the aftermath of the election to one person and added that I would take great delight in seeing Trump give Prince Potato Head a good spanking. She didn’t take too kindly to that. One of her first comments was that he didn’t deserve to be President because he’s “a pig”.
She also took umbrage at what I said about Trudeau, even though she was old enough to remember Dirty Pierre and what he did to this country.
I then struck up a conversation with someone else and she was equally as vitriolic in her response. Trump, once again, was “a pig” and she would rather have had Hildabeast win because she wanted “a woman” as President.
I pressed the matter and asked if she would have preferred to see a criminal in the White House, her answer was that she would rather have had O’Bummer back.
So that seems to be the progressive mentality: it’s all about identity, image, and, possibly, ideology. Issues, attitudes, trustworthiness, and, for that matter, the consequences of electing a certain candidate simply don’t mean a thing to them.

  7. It’s all about politically-correctness. Free people accustomed to free speech don’t cope well with censorship, and the full name of the hideous phenomenon is politically-correct-censorship.
From the first moment in 2015 that I heard Donald Trump say “we should build a wall”, I predicted he would win the primary because I believed that pc-censorship was the most powerful motivator for the right. Predicting the general election wasn’t quite as straight forward because Trump was now trying to persuade the left (and the faux right) who are happy with censorship, and because other factors came into play. But in the end, I think it was his continued antipathy to pc-censorship that won the day.

  8. I don’t think I emphasised my main point enough. The media is protecting Hillary still by distracting the news cycle with talk of themselves and everything except the things that exposed Hillary to condemnation. By the time anybody remembers the corruption it will be “old news”, the same trick the Clintons run time after time. The people that you may try to convince one on one will only take notice if their “trusted” source of information presents confirmation of the scandals or at the very least shows doubt of Hillary’s innocence.

  9. I quite agree that the MSM was largely responsible for the image that HRC cultivated.
No progressives, such as the two women I spoke with in the grocery store earlier today, dared look behind the curtain lest they find out that the Wizard isn’t at all like he portrays himself.

  10. On CBC radio they had a political science professor comparing Trump to all the worlds worst dictators because he threatened to jail his political opponent, completely missing the point that HRC has likely committed crimes. Trump would not be threatening ol’Bernie with jail if he’d won the DNC. CBC makes me puke.

  11. One of her first comments was that he didn’t deserve to be President because he’s “a pig”.
My usual response to such idiots is to say: “OK, if you’re using name-calling to establish the credibility of your opinion, then my calling you a cupid stunt makes my opinion just as credible as yours.” It’s amusing to watch that sink in, some never get it, but it always shuts ’em up.

  12. This professor also must momentarily forgot that Suzuki suggested that Harper and other AGW deniers be jailed.

  13. And of course Hillary and Obama got that guy with a video hardly anyone had seen about Muslims in jail as a political prisoner and scapegoat for the death of Ambassador Stevens and others.
