  1. The Get Down – $120 million. White folks must love hearing how bad black folks have it and how it’s all their fault. Only $120 million – a bargain. PS I really don’t know the plot – assuming.

  2. I heard about Elibeth Warren clucking like a chicken Yeah listen to the mindless clucks, braying and barking Demacrats are a strange breed of idiotis

  3. Instead of “Peak TV”, wouldn’t “Critical Mass TV” be more appropriate. I have a fairly large SaskTel Max package but find myself consistently watching maybe a half-dozen channels like Deja View, running old programs that I’ve deja seen but are still preferable to the junk produced these days.
    Any suggestions?

  4. Netflix = cheap reruns in marginal quality picture. No HDX … so you get to watch in the same quality as broadcast television in 1966
I dumped my subscription years ago … If I am going to spend the wasted time viewing video … it better be in TOP quality sound and image.
And … I got tired of Netflix always hawking left wing crap documentaries about how miserable Capitalism and the US are. Netflix is owned by a leftist tool, panty waist, twit.

“Deplorable HDX Kenji says… I got tired of Netflix…”
i torrent all my tv and movies off the net… you choose
the content and quality… and no commercials.
you’ll never go back to regular tv, trust me.

  6. There were two similar services here in Canada, both owned by cable companies. One of them came and went, the other one still appears to be operating.
I often wonder why I still have cable TV. Out of all the channels I have access to, only 3 are worthwhile watching for me: Turner Classic Movies, Encore Avenue (a Canadian movie channel), and AMC. Most of the other channels simply carry lousier movies and re-runs from the commercial networks.
PBS used to be the one channel I thought I couldn’t do without, but I seldom watch it nowadays. I’ve cut back on my financial support for it and, eventually, I’ll stop altogether.

  7. If I do watch TV I find myself tuned to the golf channel. Golf is so hard no one individual can entirely dominate the sport and yet the game always allows the cream to float to the top.
One individual framed in the camera rallying all their best efforts against what appears to be a stupid and impossible task; a task that can be one bad shot away from complete disaster. The many cameras and competitors employed in the enterprise and no politics makes the viewing experience well worth the time wasted.

  8. I don’t watch TV at all any more. The time I used to spend watching TV, I now spend on the internet. I subscribe to a half dozen YouTube channels that have great content that I am really interested in, and it is a way better use of my time than watching TV.
