  1. As a stay at home Dad, I’m always troubled by having to bring my daughter to a bathroom appropriate for her and appropriate for everyone else. I would no more enter a girls washroom with her than have her enter a boys washroom with me. MOST retailers have a “family” friendly bathroom in which ALL opinions can be respected. NO offense need be taken. While solving (tho’ inadvertently) a problem, it seems some members of society must insist that you believe in their philosophy and become a believer in them also.
I will still be troubled by my continuing bathroom trauma… (do I need a safe space??????)… I will still be respectful of the feelings of others.

  2. I agree 100%.
One of my grandsons was molested in a Costco washroom as my son also had a daughter with him and did not feel he should take her into the male washroom. Afterwards he wished he had taken her in when the son needed to use the facility. A family washroom would have prevented this.
Also, when we on a road trip this summer, we made a rest stop at a popular ice cream and food stop along the Highway at French River, Ontario. We have been there a number of times. My wife headed for the Ladies room and I headed for the Men’s. I noticed that between the two washrooms there was a family room. When I enterred, firs on woman began to walk out with a child. I was too surprised to note the child’s gender. I headed for a stall, a two stall restroom, and another woman came out of the one stall with a young boy. Of course I wondered why these women did not use the family restrooms.

  3. Hi Ken! Perhaps they may be unaware of the “equal opportunity” bathrooms. I sure was. At the Eaton center, they provide for family bathrooms. Ask ANYONE in the food kiosk or security and they will more than gladly give you access. The security is there to provide just that, security. NO ONE questions. They are in a word, vigilant.
My advice to your family… bring your daughter into a guys bathroom. You get peace of mind… worst case scenario…. you get to decry discrimination and become a national symbol. Oh, and yes. I’ve NEVER heard of a man complaining about a lil’ girl using the lil’ boys room. I’ve seen NOTHING but sympathetic gazes!

  4. Contrasting the publics response to Chick fil A vs Targets principled stances, it would appear society isn’t quite on board with the ever fluid state imposed values. Contrary to what the cbc would have us believe.

  5. It was so difficult to predict this would happen. You let men into the women’s washroom and women with children (the “target” shoppers) stop coming.

  6. And I predict the cratering of Target Stores continues … unabated … regardless of their too-little-too-late restroom reconstruction. Once you have shown the DECENT people in America who you really are … once you let your mask slip and show the diseased leftist ghoul inside … you have LOST.
Good riddence Target. And take your homocentric values with you ! Of course their corporate demise will be chalked-up to the failure of brick&mortar … the leftists will NEVER admit the malignancy of their beliefs and actions.

  7. The trans bathroom policy can be avoided somewhat with the use of single stalls.
To me the issue is a bit of a red herring. The problem isn’t so much bathroom policy but locker room policies, where women and children are then subjected to boobs with boners.
Target bombed in Canada but I have implemented a personal lifetime ban on the progholes.

good common sense advice… something that’s often lacking in the emotional discussion of this issue.
Locked family washrooms with a key available from staff is a good solution.
as Markon noted the washroom issue is different from the locker-room issue and separate solutions are required.

  9. The gender puzzle now confusing young impressionable kids is permeating every aspect of Progressive society.
Questionnaires no longer have just a male or female square to check.
Now there’s a third box where one can check “which gender do you IDENTIFY with”
I no longer identify with moronic questionnaires
