    It’s not about getting the facts straight. It’s about making sure people get the message they’re supposed to get.

    That is not even a real statistic, it includes things like patients not taking their medications as prescribed which isn’t exactly a doctor’s fault.

38. So the number is 200 000. Still, the intended effect is to shock, and produce an attitude of mistrust of the medical system.
    You often end up on an operating table because you are already severely compromised. How many of those 200,00 (and how many countless others) would have died had they not been given the procedures? Even with the number corrected, the purpose of this dissemination of misleading information seems to be a further denigration of the medical profession; watch for the call for more government involvement to be the next phase. And it matters not how true, reasonable, or well-researched the sound bites/tweets are. All that matters is image.
