  1. Unfortunately I no longer know when to trust the horse cops. The recent John Nuttall and Amanda Korody debacle has poisoned the well a great deal.

  2. So the FBI had to do the RCMP’s job for them? Also, I wonder if the FBI agents that tipped off the RCMP are going to get reprimanded now? Since the current administration in the US are terrorist sympathizers and are actively undermining America every chance they get.

  3. All this happened just 30 minutes down the road from us. Goes to show you these freaks aren’t confined to the big cities. One never knows when one is going to pop up in your neighborhood.People think I’m a bit odd because I tell them to always keep an eye out for weird behavior and to be prepared for anything. Perhaps they’ll take it to heart now that it’s cropped up in sleepy Strathroy.

  4. Isn’t it reassuring when a lawyer steps up to provide his solemn testament as to the peaceful nature of his client. No skin in the game when body parts go flying. Please contain your subterfuge to the courtroom. But when his nonsense is in keeping with the narrative, the media gleefully gives him a voice.

  5. As well, the exploding barn in Quebec a few decades ago, the more recent High River gun grab incident come to mind, and the very recent reclassifying Ruger 10/22 25 shot load magazines.
It appears that some are more political than public defenders.
It is interesting that I have yet to hear this ISIS terrorists adopted name in the media except for one source.

  6. Lone wolf is being used over and over by the media when reporting on this latest terrorist creep claiming some kind of affinity for ISIS.
    Thank God for the FBI.

  7. Update –
RCMP will now increase their surveillance of white middle class Christian males across Canada in light of these recent events. Due to the usage of an unregistered bomb Justin Turdeau will demand the implantation of another +2 billion dollar Long Gun Registry and a 100% increase in current Carbon tax’s to thwart similar bomb attacks in the future.
PM Turdeau has also pledged, 500 million dollars aid in the form of Canada Goose Artic coats to the people of Libya and the Middle East to help during their frigid migration to the south of France and Italy. Justin’s hope is that the generous donation sparks their interest in continuing on to Canada afterwards.

  8. When they are separated from the herd sheeps are also lone wolves…I mean if we apply this liberal “logic” to sheep.

  9. Hey Ralph…
Your a bit odd and weird people out ?
Try… this guy lived just out behind my house in Charleswood when he was arrested here in Winnipeg…
Then I find out he was killed by the RCMP in Strathroy because he was plotting something there and exploded a bomb. Get this… my Father-In-Law grew up in Strathroy… and lives just a few houses down the same street where this clown was living last year, the street behind us. Try odd for all of us.
It’s too small of a world for us Canadian’s to think any of us are not at risk with these Islam adherents around.
Odd isn’t the word. Try threatening. Try call to action. Try… time to fight back.

  10. At some point the A.A. types are going to cease using social media and the first clue we’re going to have is a lot of dead people.

  11. There is increasing evidence that these so-called lone wolves are not acting alone.
    http://www.voanews.com/a/american-authorities-fear-terror-networks-already-in-united-states/3453890.html
After years of undercover work, the U.S. is starting to pull back the veil on what appear to be loose-knit, perhaps deeply rooted networks of would-be terrorists who support each other even as many prepare to act alone.
Heightening the concern, these complex webs of connections and support seem to span several years and often cut across the ideological lines that delineate one terror group from another.

  12. I was trying to be polite. Some day the country is going to shit the bed. I want to be a survivor.

  13. They commit the act alone, but they are not lone wolves.
they are connected to Islamic terrorists directly or indirectly.
    They are not lone wolves.

  14. “Relax – ralph goodale is in charge”
Heh. If we had a real press corps, these words will be coming back to haunt him.
“There is no greater responsibility of the Government than to keep its citizens safe.”
    If…..

  15. We give these loners way too much credit, referring to them as wolves…… pppssshhha.
They are in fact “lone TURD Losers”.

  16. On the bright side, they suck at bomb making.
I expect that Canada will go full McKenzie King one of these days, and it will be Shiny Pony who pulls the trigger. Mass arrests and mass deportations of anyone with so much as a decent tan. Toronto will be emptied.
Because that is how Liberals roll.

  17. “WE thirst for your blood”? So “identifying as Black” was just the beginning; now it’s chic to identify as Muslim Arab when you’re a white-ass ginger atheist Canuck.
This is what happens when an entire culture loses its moral compass.

  18. robins111 and gordinkneehill had it right over in the August 10, 2016 8:33 PM comments thread:
He converted. His name isn’t ‘Driver’. It’s Harun Abdurahman. This BS happens all the time.
    Cassius Clay? Nope, Muhammed Ali
    Cat Stevens? Nope, Yusuf Islam
But the bad guys get this:
Michael Zehaf-Bibeau? Yup, that’s his name
Richard Reid? That’s OK, nothing to see here
“Taliban John” Lindt? Musn’t be prejudiced
Gamil Gharbi? Sorry, never heard of him. What did he do?

  19. “…now it’s chic to identify as Muslim Arab when you’re a white-ass ginger atheist Canuck.”
Er, Islam is a religion, not an ethnicity.
    Anyone can be a Muslim.

  20. “Anyone can be a Muslim.”
Very true. Let me tell you the story of Johnny Walker Lindh the “American Taliban”.
Johnny, who was a white boy, thought it was the coolest thing to be Black.
He posed on various social media to be the epitome of the Black Hip Hop rapper. Johnny was an tre’ expert in the music. As an adolescent, Lindh participated in IRC chat rooms with the IRC nickname “Mujahid”. He became a devoted fan of hip hop music and engaged in extensive discussions on Usenet newsgroups, sometimes pretending to be an African-American rapper who would criticize others for “acting black”.
It just wasn’t enough. Johnny became a covert to the Islam at the age of 16. It was hard for Johnny since his parents were having marital difficulties due to his father regularly leaving his mother for extended periods to be with his male lover in San Francisco.
So Johnny Walker Lindh made his way to Yemen where he learned Arabic so that he could read the Koran in the original tongue. From Yemen he travelled to Pakistan to study at a madrassa.
When Johnny was 20 he travelled from Pakistan to Afghanistan to fight with the Taliban against the Northern Alliance forces.
John Walker Lindh was captured by the Northern Alliance Army and imprisoned with other Taliban at the 19th century fortress, become a prison, known as Qala-i-Jangi.
There he was to be interrogated by the CIA which had arrived with the NATO invasion forces in 2001.
There was a battle there at Qala-i-Jangi where the CIA interrogators were killed and most of the Taliban prisoners were also killed, but not Johnny Walker Lindh.
Johnny ended up in the U.S. Federal Correctional Complex, Terre Haute and is projected to get release in May 2019.
But yes, anyone can be a Muslim. And also, these days, anyone can identify as being Black. Which is how John Walker Lindh started out his tortured journey as a California white boy with poor self-esteem, raised American Catholic, who didn’t identify with his own tribe.
