When shit like this happens I email Thobani at UBC and ask her what her thoughts are on all of this. I have yet to get an answer.

Correct, even the Citizen has confirmed the names of the arrested, as you identified them. Hardly news as this came direct from Ottawa police. On the blogs it was suggested days ago there was a Muslim connection, and the Ottawa CBC:
“On Monday Ottawa police announced a 26-year-old and a 21-year-old man have been charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and failing to comply with court-ordered conditions”.
That’s all folks, the 21 and 26 year are nameless, nothing else here to see, move on now.
