The Seeds of a Revolution

ar-15.pngThe backlash to Police killings could get right out of control. Sixty seven Government agencies, non-law enforcement and unrelated to the Dept. of Defense, have been huge buyers of guns, ammunition and body armor. The same Government that is trying to get guns out of citizen’s hands is arming its bureaucratic employees with serious military equipment.
Creating an army to crush citizens loss of confidence in Gov’t and anger towards the statu quo and elite?

  1. The IRS are going to be in for a surprise when they come up again the unorganized militia.

  2. No comments from the usual badge-flashing fanboys? It started with militarised police. The US is progressing to militarised government. And the rest of the world should continue to support the US as a force for good because…..?
Sorry, the US has spent the years since Waco morphing into a police state. The rest of the population in countries where the police don’t shoot first and ask questions later, have taken note, and will be adjusting their attitudes to Americans accordingly.
The US is now a very dangerous place…

  3. But you forget-
Many of us ‘citizens’ have been trained in the military to kill or die trying to kill.
Some of us carry massive firepower, and together we have billions of rounds of ammunition, And as the Japanese said: A gun behind every blade of grass..
You may have noticed it lately being used in bad ways-
Ambushing police officers is not my idea of a good hunt, too much inter-city guerilla warfare. Surround the city, cut off the Food Stamps and your revolt is over..
I prefer rural areas, better land management and brush cover, there are even many tunnels out there, the Feds have no idea what they would be dealing with. Hell, we even have Drones. ha.
The most ever killed by a military man to my knowledge, was Timothy Mcveigh- 168 dead and 2 times wounded. Oklahoma truck bombing of Alfred Murray government building. One man. And his weapon.
It was bad, too many children died- But the ATF under the direction of Atty Gen. Janet Reno had attacked and killed 82 people in Waco Texas, half of them children.
    Then-
What did President Bill Clinton and his Attorney General Janet Reno do after the Military ‘civilian’ attack ??
They toned down the Rhetoric, and started treating veterans and ‘citizens’ like human beings.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure,”
Thomas Jefferson wrote in a letter to William S. Smith, a diplomatic official in London, on November 13, 1787.

  4. They forget about the sheer number of gun owners in the U.S. Minnesota alone has 600,000 deer hunters.

  5. Today’s Sesame Street has been brought to you by the letter “B”: bunkers, bullion, bullets, bully-beef, bottled water, and beans.

  6. An IRS city boy carrying an AR-15 would last about 2 minutes in my neck of the woods..
“Hey Look.. Its a new weapon and thousands of rounds of ammunition, and its only been dropped once.”

  7. Although I too share a concern about the government being over armed, this report is somewhat of a paranoid distortion.
First, it emphasizes COST rather than what was purchased. See below.
Second, it seems that the author thinks that only the DOD (Army, Navy, Marines, Airforce) should be buying guns/ammo/etc. This is wrong.
Other agencies with legitimate mandates for firearms include Customs agents, Border Patrol, Immigration services (ICE, et al), Federal Marshals, Secret Service, FBI. There are probably others as well. This is only a sample.
All of these agencies are required to both provide firearms and to train those who handle firearms. Training requires ammunition to be purchased. Generally there is an annual proficiency training requirement. This is not without cost.
If you are going to rail against something, details are important to support your case. This rant had few details and as such was a fail.

  8. A few years back, there was a story in my local paper that the U.S. Weather Bureau now has a SWAT team, complete with armored cars, machine guns and more. Other federal agencies with SWAT teams include Department of Agriculture, the Railroad Retirement Board, the Tennessee Valley Authority, the Office of Personnel Management, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Department of Education, and many others. Google it if you’re interested.
“SWAT team from the Food and Drug Administration raided the farm of Dan Allgyer of Lancaster, Pa. His crime was shipping unpasteurized milk across state lines to a cooperative of young women with children in Washington, D.C., called Grass Fed on the Hill. Raw milk can be sold in Pennsylvania, but it is illegal to transport it across state lines. The raid forced Allgyer to close down his business.”
Obviously, a military response to ordinary violations of the law is not always going to end well. These agencies have added these forces because they have the intention to use them. The police should handle police matters, not the military. This is like the rule of the hammer. Give a small child a hammer, and he will soon realize that everything needs pounding. This has the potential of being big trouble down the road.

  9. The weird arms and ammunition buys throughout the US bureaucracy
are just another approved budget item – use it or lose it is the mantra.
The presidential directive to immediately forward all such material to
the Fed Peoples Militia upon its extra legal formation is the other
    shoe waiting to drop.

  10. It isn’t referred to as Leviathan for nothing. It’s engorged, out of control, apparently well armed, and broke. Good luck with fixing that!

  11. Has it ever occured to these idiots to have one police force centred around US Marshalls/FBI. When police assistance is required the IRS could simply request officers. Seems to work in Canada. The tax agents are way less likely to be abusive assholes.

  13. The American Politbureau may have been expanded, and armed to the teeth by Obama … but wars are not won by money and equipment alone. They are won by a profound desire for survival. The socialist politbureau elites and their government employees are too used to paternity leave, retirement at age 50, etc. to ever become a viable fighting force. Obama may believe he is bringing a gun to a knife fight … but it is more like a ‘pop’ gun to snipers scope. Good luck with that Mein Socialist Presidente’

  14. “Has it ever occured to these idiots to have one police force ”
Nah that would make those in charge of such force too powerful. It is an old communist approach, multiple layers of police forces, one always ready to arrest the other. KGB purging the army, GRU ready to go after KGB and so on, the more the merrier.

  15. Tell ya one thing: if keyboardin’ was killin’ no one would be safe.

  16. There’s news/rumor of move afoot to try and federalize the cops.
That might be problematic and needs to nip it in the bud at first sight.

  17. Deerbornistan hunters I hope and pray.
Besides, the Gubment alphabet wannabee military boys and gyrls are going to run like little girls when the SHTF. Or I could be wrong, and I’ll die in a blaze of gunfire. Either way, I die a free man. FUK ’em.
