But according to our political leaders, such feelings ought to be granted the patina of legitimacy. This isn’t leadership. It’s moral cowardice.
As we open another day with 3 more police officers dead the gun control advocates are already stating something must be done . I believe unfortunately that there is segment of the general public that believe these executions are even justified . All the usual famous people or elites will add their voice, as to them the solution is simple , simply control firearms. You can bet Obama will sing in that chorus. Now , believe it or not , this comment is not about gun control . The race card is constantly being played in fatal encounters with police . As for Black lives matter , I think the violence is just beginning. Here we are on the eave of the Republican convention. Remember that racist bigot Trump ? Well it appears people who hate him are prepared to do whatever they can to disrupt his nomination. When in the msm have you heard one positive story or incident related to anything he has said or done ? I would not take high odds that he will survive the nomination let alone the presidency . Remember all the fear for Obama in the bigoted racist US ? I don’t believe anyone has taken a shot at him. Remember the promise of racial harmony ? Yet at every incident of a fatal encounter between police and some black thug , it is the police who must change ? When will Obama come out and say ” when being stopped by a police officer, it is your job and duty to comply with his direction .” Because not one of these people who was shot was compliant . Your chance of ending up dead while complicent are near zero .

Look, I am under no illusion that everything the police do is correct. Some people are under the illusion that just because you are not white you are being picked on. I have firsthand experience at this and I know people do not always treat other people fairly, and yes it happens even if you are white. I will not pretend to be familiar with theLevar Jones incident, but time and time again in these videos I see people failing to comply with the direction of officers. And they end up dead. If you wish to laugh about , well that is your prerogative. Be compliant and your chances of living grow exponentially. If you encourage belligerence and killing police officers you are in my I opinion giving the police licence to shoot first any time they are feeling threatened.

Why not? Information is readily available. Let me summarize it for you then. Levar Jones followed directions of the cop, got shot and then the cop perjured himself on the stand (as they always do because they face practically no consequences if they are caught). Fortunately the cop did not manage to destroy the video evidence and was found guilty of watered down charges instead of attempted murder (a charge that for a cop should mean automatic death penalty in a just society).
Research Kelly Thomas while at it. A case of, an unable to defend himself, mentally disabled man, sadistically beaten into a coma. Of course lobotomized jury, against all logic, bought cop’s story because the thought that cops are the bad guys was too much for them.
Or maybe you should research Walter Scott case where a cop murders a coast guard veteran, plants evidence on him and goes to jail only because of a bystander’s video recording.

Does the notion that free people should not be required to bow to a police state resonate with you? Are you aware that, for example, Ontario courts ruled that contempt of cops is not a crime? Yes even lobotomized Ontario liberal judge realized that.

A word of cop without corroborating evidence should never be weighted more than a word of street thug or a prostitute. When a cop is found guilty of abuse, perjury or tampering with evidence his sentence should eclipse by an order of magnitude the normal sentence.

It is obvious you have a problem with the police . I stand by what I have written . No I did not research your cases . As I have stated , I know from personal experiences that not all police are reasonable nor without fault. However , if you wish to be non compliant you put yourself at significant risk. If you are abused you have the recourse of the courts . Their is no garenteed you will win . Many things in life are not fair, but the choice to regail in your victimization is yours. Fighting with or killing police officers is unlikely to get you the fairness you may think you are entiteled to.
