  1. I love the smell of surprised statists in the morning. It’s over; for what it’s worth. This is why elites so dislike consulting the people.
Cold shivers run up and down Obama’s and Clinton’s backs. Donald smirks quietly at another technocrat slapdown.
80% chance of Brexit. 100% chance of markets and politicians lighting their hair on fire.
I hope everybody has a cow so some great buy opportunities result. Imagine if you could have shorted these markets?
Here come the Scottish separatists. Greeaat; the neverendum continues. The overlord slapdown is quite enjoyable from my perch.
Car plants closing? Hardly. How about EU sucking up to GB on immigration &/or doing a free trade deal with UK insurgents, sans EU entanglements.
The pound gets slapped so far, down around 10% & falling vrs the US greenback, now lowest in 10 years. Who are these idiots selling off pounds?
Will this be an exit sign for nervous nellies? Futures augur an initial 3% drop in international market openings, where HS now sits, with UK down 9%.
I refer to this as easily actionable market inefficiency. I say cash in on the stupidity. Let’s put this thing in perspective:
Bad day to be a progressive worldwide. Free trade is great, but customs unions? Who wants to be tied to the political decisions of silly statists?
BamBam gets bitch slapped by the SCOC on immigration.
Loretta Lynn clumsily takes one for the PC team earlier this week, knowing when to duck out.
Now the EU feels the UK paddle. How broken is the people’s trust with their governments?
25% of Sanders voters say they’ll go for Trump, who’s honing his Hillary attacks.
Dem Congress temper tantrum gets adjourned. Singing Kumbaya for gun control isn’t resonating with Americans, who are pretty sure they’re not racists.
Desperate attempts to change channel on Orlando as more revelations, indeed killer speaking on cell phone during attack (to handler as in Mumbai?).
I’ve so had it with establishment twits everywhere when they bet their butts kicked I enjoy it on that basis alone, and deal with the consequences later.
On balance though, a good day for limited government with a strong signal against elitist excesses.

  2. Easy there scf…there is still 50% of the vote remaining ….you can bet the vote will be made to favor the eu!! as it stands now the leave vote is ahead by almost 600k. but scotland has totally scewed this if i was england i would kick scotland to the curb no matter what after this. and send a whole lot of garbage their way turn the country into a toilet surrounded by a buncha prisons n mosks!!

  3. The problem with the remain side is that all of Scotland has already been counted and most of london too. The leave lead can only grow as the remaining areas are mostly leave. One statistician has put the probability of remain winning at 0%. As I said, the media would have called it already if their side were not losing.

  4. I cannot believe the ‘fix’ won’t be in so that REMAIN ends up winning….not my wish though.

  5. Conservative Home have called the referendum for Leave, who have just passed 11 million votes.
    Leave
    Votes
    11,563,636
    Remain
    Votes
    10,845,915
    VOTES
    Leave up by 710000 votes
    BREXIT is the new UK reality, the Bremainers appear to be on track to lose the pool;
not to mention their swim gear. I’m sure the Bremainers will be swimming to the EU via the Channel come
    morning…
Can’t see the trend changing much, as the sun comes up over the UK.
‘Brexit’ could trigger World War Three, warns David Cameron

BY BEN GLAZE , DAN BLOOM
Mr Cameron told pro-EU campaigners: “Can we be so sure peace and stability on our continent are assured?”

Reminds me of the Charlottetown Accord here in Canader years ago.
Ordinary folks telling the leaders they are a bunch of tossers…
    Hah, we’ll see how many bullets are flying after the EU once again carpet bombs Coventry;
    due to the Brexit vote!

4.00: Hi, it’s Rebecca back. ConservativeHome have called the referendum for Leave, who have just passed 10 million votes. It’s increasingly hard to see how Remain could get it now: the cities have started to fall, and Leave continues to gain medium-sized conurbations for every London borough it loses.
Sterling is on track to fall below the important $1.40 point, and it’s been pointed out on Twitter that even the Zimbabwe dollar is gaining on the pound.
After an evening of remarkable votes from across the regions, Leave are more than 100,000 votes ahead in Wales with only three results left declare, and while Edinburgh has just voted Remain with 74.4 per cent, the 123,000 votes it gains there can’t make much of a dint overall.
A shocked-looking Nigel Farage has just made a speech talking of a potential ‘victory for ordinary people’.
Thoughts now go to the future of the Conservative Party. Surely, Cameron hasn’t got long left.

  6. That can only happen when the difference is 1% or less. I think Kate has said it in the past, conservatives need to overcome the margin of cheating. In this case they have.

  7. Been watching CPAC for a few hours and loving it. Sorry, I’m late to this party. Let’s see if the world ends in a few days as so many Eurocrats insist it will. Good for Britain! I wish them all the best.

  10. ITV and BBC gave up and called the result for leave an hour after it was already over. Lol.

  11. Excellent news. For about 18 months now almost every single vote in the western world has been a stinging rebuke of the incumbent and the establishment. Let’s see if the streak continues all the way to November!!

  12. Now everyone sing along: “There’ll always be an England, and England shall be free. If England means as much to you as England means to me.” Perhaps there is hope for the Anglosphere yet!

  13. On CNN, they’re already wringing their hands wondering what this might mean for hilly

  14. Most amusing watching the CNN coverage tonight. No surprise that it was totally all in for Remain. The shock and dismay on the faces of the talking heads was a wonder to behold. Similar grim expressions at the communist broadcasting corporation.
It should be no surprise that Scotland voted strongly to remain. Scotland has been on the dole from the English taxpayer for decades. And they need Brussels to balance off against Westminster if the largesse is to keep coming their way. What DID surprise me is Wales voting to leave.
In any event, this is the result you can expect when you have such a severe democratic deficit in the monstrosity called the EU. Particularly with the pinko media bending over backwards to drum up every scare story they can about the prospect of dumping the EU. It’s an indicator of how thoroughly out of touch the MSM and the establishment politicians are that they are both being rejected.
Make no mistake, the driving issue here was the absolute fiasco the EU has made in its millions of illegal immigrants. This vote also counts as a massive non-confidence in Angela Merkel and her policy of illegal immigrant accommodation. Without the flood of illegals, this vote would likely either have been overwhelmingly Remain or indeed never happened at all.

  15. Woohoo! The Weat atarta to fight back against socialism. The people have had enough,

  16. Woohoo! The Weat atarta to fight back against socialism. The people have had enough,

  17. I thought we were finished; doomed for eventual global governance. This changes things everywhere.

  18. So is this the first sign of pendulum swinging back and the western world reverting to some measure of sanity?
    Hopefully it is.
Seeing leftist mediots’ and prressitutes’ heads explode: priceless.
Now if only Morontario could separate from Moronto…

  19. As indicated in my other posts, I honestly did not expect that the Brits would have the guts to give the middle finger to the EU socialists, but they did, which makes tonight’s result all the more sweeter!
Well done voters!! Bloody well done!
And that lily-livered Cameron must resign immediately.
In my view tonight’s result could help Trump too. Perhaps, just perhaps, voters are beginning to realize that they can give the global elites (socialism, global warming, rampant third-world immigration, multiculturalism, etc., pick your poison from their foul cesspool of ideas) the middle finger.
Screw you George Soros, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, and the rest of you liberal/socialist elites. Screw you all. May Brexit be the start of your downfall.

  20. Geert Wilders, Dutch Freedom Party leader
“Hurrah for the British! Now it is our turn. Time for a Dutch referendum!”

  21. I’m sure you’ll enjoy this:
Nigel Farage: ‘Brexit without a single bullet being fired’
Here is a longer extract from Nigel Farage’s controversial ‘victory’ speech:
“If the predications now are right this will be a victory for real people, a victory for ordinary people, a victory for decent people. We have fought against the multinationals, against the big merchant banks, against big politics, against lies against lies, corruption and deceit and today honesty and decency and belief in nation I think now is going to win.
We will have done it without having to fight, without a single bullet having been fired.
I hope this victory brings down this failed projects and brings us to a Europe of sovereign nation states trading together.
Let June the 23rd go down in our history as our independence day.”
    Cheers

  22. Now…Canadians have to force Just-in to hold a referendum on changes to our voting system.

  23. Excellent news for a change. Congrats to Nigel Farage. May he now rise to become the next PM.

  24. The NYT suggests that Cameron might be at risk of losing his job. I don’t think it would be a great loss if he did.

  25. Nelson Muntz, leader of the Leave campaign, was quoted as follows:
    Haa haa.

  26. Fantastic! Thought the globalist goose steppers would corrupt the outcome in their favour, but hey, there remains some Brits who haven’t been neutered by the Media and the corrupt elites… fantastic news! Of course Canada is going in the opposite direction with the election of Queef Justine of Turdo and his globalist ball handlers… oh well… a small victory for freedom… Go Trump! Well done Brits! Excellent commentary on this thread!

  27. It is certainly a very fine moment to savour, a giant middle finger waived defiantly in the face of the ruling elites and their coterie of fart catchers in media and academia.
A fine smile inducing instance, from which we can take renewed energy to go after the kleptocracy class bas%@#t$@ards that are ruining our fine country here. Maybe there is hope for this continent as well, even if November is a long way off.
But enough of that talk, today is a glorious day.
The revolution is upon them who deem themselves our betters.
To the ramparts, queue the tumbrils, off with their heads!

  28. George Soros New World Order just took a big hit.
Sorry, Georgie Porgey looks like your little currency party just took one hell of a Payback.
I hope you lose trillions for taking a bet against British Currency.
    UP YOURS..
