Milo Yiannopolous on America’s decision:
America has to make a choice. Does it want gay rights, women’s emancipation, and tolerance for people of all nonviolent faiths — or does it want Islam?
A truth without exception:
Republicans love guns – and Democrats like them a lot.
Don’t trust a government that is afraid of you having guns, and be afraid of a society that can’t trust its ordinary citizens with guns.
Congratulations on bringing your new puppy home.
Please get some reputable information on its care and feeding.
Why legislators don’t pass laws against guns. It’s unconstitutional and unless they are in a securely Democrat jurisdiction they lose the next election. If I lived in the US, I’d be packing.
The rainbow ‘don’t tread on me’ snake is a start but I think they should go with Kate’s idea and use the rainbow cofederate flag.
That would recast the motto ‘live free or die’.
It’s a win for everyone.
People are seeing islam for what it is.
Some sexual degenerates will opt for courtesy and discretion rather than pride.
Gun sales are going through the roof.
Far as I’m concerned it’s all good!
D’ya think there’ll be some new questions about lifestyle on firearms possession applications? 😉
I don’t care if my neighbors have a dozen of these AR’s and a selection of pistols too, behind the drywall in their bedrooms.
It’s none of the government’s business.
What amazing stupidity of these fools, fed by an ignorant and unethical media! Under the so-called Assault Weapons Ban of 1994, the AR15 (hint AR doesn’t mean “Assault Rifle”) was not excluded, if produced domestically. Furthermore the AR15 is not and never will be an assault rifle.
It is not semi-auto/automatic and is a small caliber hunting rifle dressed up; when I was a kid a .22 repeater was known as a rabbit gun. Remember if you wear a costume on Halloween you become what you wear, assuming you’re a right winger of course.
Remember lack of gun control in the US caused murderers in France Belguim to use AK47s (now there’s an assault rifle), who have gun control. Demspeak isn’t that hard if you can disengage your brain.
BTW as usual the right are eating their own in their fated attempt to be reasonable and truthful, rather than emotional and dishonesty of the left, so will hand the election to Criminal Hillary and the Dullard Dems.
If I was a bar owner, or manager of any public place, to protect my clients and myself, I would go with a 12 gauge shotgun such as Remington R-12. It handles 2.75 inch up to 3.5 inch loads, with six + one capacity. With the right load, it literally takes the attacker’s head off. Most ordinary folks can’t hit much with a pistol or a rifle, especially in a stressful situation. The shotgun gives you more room for error. And just the looks of the bore scares potential attackers. http://www.remingtonmilitary.com/Firearms/Shotguns%20Auto/R12.aspx
yup, just shove that sucker down your pants
if you are away from your guns location, you may be dead before you get it. CC and proper training, is the best answer.
I’m sure it was on this blog quite some time ago a contributer suggested that most of these ‘deranged’ mass killers were democrats. If that indeed is the case, wouldn’t it make a huge difference in the gun control debate, not to mention the death count, if Democrats demonstrated their moral high ground by themselves unilaterally forfeiting their guns? Wouldn’t that be interesting?
Can’t use that for public places. The spread will be too much for anything more than a few feet.
Gotta agree with NME. For the first time ever.
As to the post itself. While I wish the post were factual – IOW, those posters were placed all over West Hollywood, the majority appear to be photoshopped into place.
Yes, .223Rem is for all practical purposes the same as the NATO standard cartridge for assault rifles and some light machine guns (LMG,) 5.56mmNATO. An AR-15 is an assault rifle if built to meet the criteria for an assault rifle, which includes the option to fire fully automatic. AR-15s sold to the civilian market typically aren’t built as assault rifles, AR-15s built as assault rifles are typically known by military designations that vary according to who is using them, e.g. C7 and C8 in the Canadian Forces, M16 and M4 in the U.S.
And against an unarmed crowd, anyone who has practiced using it could kill dozens with my coyote gun though it is a single shot break action firing that cartridge.
I see that the National Security is claiming Gun Control is Mational Security What rank amount of Stupidity is this? Just another of Obama s rediculous ideas from some persons whit walnut sized brains
The .22 “rabbit gun” was a tiny single shot, about half the size of a regular .22 Cooey single shot. It was made for kids and was called the rabbit gun because it was good only for rabbits or other very small game.
A friend’s dad had one,dated back to the 1920’s,but he wouldn’t sell it .
From a forum:”The original Cooey Rabbit was a small boy’s rifle with a flat stock and no buttplate and it had a small flat bolt. They looked like a toy pop gun. They were made in the mid to late 20’s for distribution in Western Canada for J.H. Ashdown. Below is a pic of my original rabbit with a smooth bore. They were marked Rabbit .22 Long Rifle. After Winchester took over in 1961, they machine stamped checkering and embossed a rabbit in the pistol grip, both on single shots and repeaters. People mistakenly call these Cooey Rabbits when they are really the model 39, 750 and 600 with the embossed rabbit.”
It evens that the shooter was already under the rainbow flag.
And a frequent flyer at the club
The .223 is what was called a 22 Hornet…The 22 hornet was issued to WWII flight crews in survival kits for shooting game…Not to be used for offensive action against real guns…
I had a 22 hornet and it was OK for White tail out to 150-200 yards…not so much shooting through bush.. I would not consider it that effective for defense..scare away maybe
The spread, using a 2.75 inch 00 buckshot, would be about 18 inches at 20 yards. It depends a lot on the length and choke of the barrel. A .357 bullet could also cause a lot of damage in the background if it missed the target. I agree with the training, however few people ever get out to the range to keep their skills up.
Every situation is different. For example in the incident in Ottawa on Parliament hill on Oct 22, 2014, Michael Zehaf-Bibeau was carrying a Winchester 94. Had he gotten himself into a well protected location, he could have caused a lot of damage before being stopped, because the range of the 94 was much further than the 9mms the cops were carrying. Over 30 shots were fired before the killer was hit and killed. In that situation, I believe a tactical shotgun with 00 shot would have been the best.

George Canyon demonstrates the power of a 12 gauge coach gun. Enjoy!!
