Fidelity, Bravery, Clusterf*ckery

Yesterday, I noted that the FBI had questioned the mass murderer (MM) in 2013, based on his claims that he knew terrorists. The FBI concluded that his claims could not be substantiated. But then in 2014 they discovered that MM actually had contact with a terrorist who engaged in a suicide bombing. The 2014 event confirmed that MM knew terrorists.
What did the FBI do? They closed the investigation.

  1. Well, if they weren’t so busy tracking all those Tea Party guys……

  2. The Russians gave them a heads up about the Tsarnev brothers and now this. A real opposition party would haul the Director before a hearing and absolutely eviscerate him but they seem to want the flood of invaders from Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq just as bad as the Dems. And the polls seem to indicate many Americans – cowered into submission from decades of PC mind control – don’t approve of Trump’s common sense solutions. The country is toast. Well at least we had a pretty good 240 year run. New Zealand?

What is more dangerous, Guns in the hands of loyal citizens,
or Terrorists in the hands of the FBI ??

President Obathroom wants to bring in millions of Islamics,
then he will fly off to Hawaii..

  4. All I can do is laugh. All you idiots who think a terror watch list run by the government is all you need to protect you from whatever. When Lois Lerner gets put in charge of the watch list and the no fly list, let me know what you think then.

  5. This brings the old sop, ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help’ new meaning. The bottom line is the government cannot be relied on to help under any circumstance. Citizens need to be prepared to look after themselves.
Under J. Edgar Hoover the FBI gathered damaging information on almost every politician, military and public official it deemed potentially dangerous to not the country but the FBI. That practice continues to this day so that when the Bureau screws up like it did here, consequences are unlikely because of retaliation.

  6. It should be obvious that suspending Muslims from entering America is necessary, not just for vetting Muslims, but to address the failures within our internal agencies of AMERICA.. I don’t think it is just Obama that is incompetent. We have inbred stupidity at all levels of immigration (ICE) & FBI…Local police…Judicial system….If the system was “not” dysfunctional Muslim immigration would not be a threat
Trump should make it clear that the temperately suspending of Muslim’s (from Terrorist Countries), includes an vetting of the AMERICAN system for embedded traitors and those who facilitate all forms of corruption…The system is dysfunctional.

  7. That’s pretty much the answer for all bureaucrats. Then they get so bored they end up actually opening a file to see what’s inside.

  8. “…The bottom line is the government cannot be relied on to help under any circumstance. Citizens need to be prepared to look after themselves. …”
I think governments can be relied upon to help under certain circumstances. But those circumstances exist when the majority of citizens are prepared to look after themselves. An electorate that is in the main competent and responsible will produce that sort of government. But an electorate that needs to rely on the government to help them is an electorate that will fail to produce that quality of government. E.g. contemporary Canadians.

  9. Trump is on the right side of the “suspend Muslim immigration” debate. Americans feel less safe than ever and no amount of politically correct platitudes is going to address that. The facts point to increasing risk of domestic attacks and Obama’s pathological denial of the seriousness of the radical Islam issue is something Americans aren’t willing to stomach. Paul Ryan’s dismissal of Trump’s position is a sign that the establishment still doesn’t get it. But that won’t matter – the American voters do get it and want somebody that will do something to fix it.

  10. Western governments no longer are the protectors of it’s citizens, they are the protectors of Islam.

  11. Orlando – apperantly no one can figure out why he did it and who is responsible. It was a hate crime?was it because he had latent homosexual tendencies? Donald Trump made him do it ? He had access to an assault rifle without any constraints? (Was it a ar15 or a type similar which are semi – automatic firearms and look like assault rifles ? ) . Could it possibly be he grew up in a home that supports and lives the values put forth by the Taliban , Isis and a good portion of the Muslim community? Because that’s what he told us .

  12. Yup. Surprised we didn’t hear that he was bullied and picked on by classmates in public school.

  13. The alphabet agencies of the US leviathan (thankfully? in some cases) can’t do their jobs efficiently or effectively even without the PC shackles of this administration. Just like the TSA, they practice security theatre. Engaging in a more discriminatory immigration policy would help in the long term but only marginally as Islam is already through the gates all over the west. America’s most lasting freedoms are to pack heat and to enjoy freedom of speech. Jihad thrives where no one can pack heat but the PC agencies and where no one can call out the Jihadis. Many thousands more will die and for a long time to come at the hands of Jihadis. 1400 years of carnage from the most devout of what is now one fifth of humanity doesn’t change overnight, if ever.

  14. Given obvious jihadist mentality, it’s obvious his community was well aware of his intentions and should have spoken with authorities. His own wife was a silent witness to his murderous plot. Time for the Islamic communities to step up and put their fellow citizens and their country ahead of their religion.
Hiding behind phantom waves of Islamophobia is unacceptable. Diverting the public with gun control false narratives will only last so long.
If this continues, Trump will win more favour with his proposed ban on immigration from areas with a terrorism problem (yes, children they’re all Muslim)until a proper vetting system can be set up. I hope he pivots to easing up on visitors and dignitaries, plus allowing other groups like more endangered Christians, whom he says we can identify and vet.
I suspect Obama and Hillary are pulling the Butts two step with their refugee plan; when the time is right, as cabin boy did, along with drunkie, was let everyone believe unaccompanied able bodied angry unemployable morons would be included in the admissions, when that was not the case. Even then the Grits had to scour ME hotels to uproot families to Canadian winter, on military bases and, you guessed it, hotels.
I say this because allowing unaccompanied young men from the ME or European camps will hand the election to Trump; are they that stupid? I think not.
I hope Trump picks up on that before it’s too late. He’s right on GOP leadership; time to end your temper tantrum on the right (Obama already had his on the left) and unite under the Trump GOP banner to stop Hillary Clinton and Dem fatal conceit statism, instead of engineering his defeat in a $elf-fulfilling prophesy, denying him crucial resources to fight the irredeemably corrupt Clinton/Dem machine, who make Obama look like a Gandhi bipartisan.
So what if you got SA money too; show your slips. Take it for the team. Accept the change that has happened on the centre and right. Stop sulking and get to work for your country.
Trump cannot do it alone; period. He has big challenges even if the GOP properly unites. He’ll need the party to help capitalize on some very bad Hillary days upcoming as the full weight of her abominable judgment sees the light of day in an election campaign.

  15. From article:
“Had the FBI kept MM on the watchlist, it would have been notified of his gun purchases and might have prevented the Orlando tragedy.”
    From Wiki:
“Mateen then worked for British-based security firm G4S Secure Solutions in Jupiter, Florida, from September 2007 until his death. The company said two screenings of Mateen—one conducted upon hiring and the other in 2013—had raised no red flags.”
    …………………………………………………………………………………………….
Few seem to recognize that MM had a Statewide Firearms License(licensed to carry 2 guns) for which he was vetted or that G4S Secure Solutions(his employer) is a subcontractor for the Department of Homeland Security, the overall Federal agency under whose umbrella the FBI is but another federal agency.
MM was not a run-of-the-mill gun purchaser.
Even with more stringent gun laws, people who work for security companies like G4S would still be able to purchase and carry 2 guns.
The problem is that people like MM are not scrutinized like everyone else due to political reasons arising from a myopic view of Islam and yet DHS exists precisely because of people who adhere to a fundamentalist practice of Islam.

  16. He did it because of someone’s command instruction…The simple fact that a FAMILIAR (to him) soft target selection was the GAY club has no relevance. It was not structured as a hate crime..It was a easy soft target of terrorism.. It could have been any large group without sufficient security..
The FBI can’t find the external Connection to ISIS is proof of their incompetence..The San Bernardino couple also selected a “Familiar” soft target & seem to have acted in haste, their bombs were not ready… Everything points to an external command of evil……
Unless you believe that the devil made him do it; it was not a act of destiny
    JMHO

  17. Like a grade 2 dullard who has to have his sums hammered into him continuously, liberal media and vast chunks of citizenry just do not get it. Western democracies are at war with radical Islamic terrorists. After 9/11, Ft Hood, Paris, Boston, San Bernardino and now Orlando, that fact should be fairly obvious.Still CBC devoted most of the National to the Orlando murders, and scarcely touched on Islam terror at all. Instead they treated it as a hate crime against gays and spent considerable time with a gay bar patron in Toronto. Available to them would be some credible Muslim spokesmen against radical Islam, but they were not interested in hearing them.
I wondered in jest when the first “lone wolf” analysis would appear. Right on cue the CBC commentator mentioned it and and compared the shooter to, wait for it, Ted Kaczynski the Una Bomber(Christian of course). News coverage just does not get any more perverse than this.
As for FBI ineptitude, Americans have seen this movie too many times already. What is the point in monitoring angry male muslim radicals unless
    one is prepared to act?

  18. Not really a New Situation for the F.B.I. if we recall the almost successful Assassination of President Ronald Reagan shortly after he took Office was by Hinkley?) who was also taken off the Presidential Watch List.
I do wonder sometimes why former Congressman Ron Paul said The F.B.I. should not carry Hand Guns.

  19. Remember Kaczynski was radicalized on line by a Christianist preacher spewing hate via videos, along with other Christianist materials and domestic handlers, along with a community shielding him – all supported by world class propaganda.
Therefore it’s the same thing – a hate crime by someone mentally ill, because that can’t mean jihadism, because no angry violent bigots with mental illness ever declare allegiance to ISIS or Sharia law, or war on civilized society.
No? If the US voters fall for this left feint to gun control, along with angry Fauxcahontas for VP and Hillary’s reputed criminal enterprise, then they are hopeless fools who deserve their fate.
Re: hate. As anyone asked why Obama thinks it’s OK for him to viscerally hate 49%+ of Americans? Does that mean he’s responsible for the next attack?

  20. If you live in Toronto take a ride to Thorncliffe Ave and its East York Mall. The majority of people are muslim with niqab and all other women in a hijab. It is just stunning to see the very quick change in this area to a muslim ghetto. The males are in muslim garb also. Probably ramadam but I still ask the question to muslims, why did you come to Canada if you just want to change it to what you left in your old muslim country? Liberals refuse to ask these questions.

  21. As a Canadian, I am asking Americans right now… with all of the actions, inactions, subterfuge, misdirection, counter-jihad…
do you not suspect this U.S. administration at it’s core is not duplicite with the House of Saud ?
Stop saying your standing government is politically left, or cowardly, or inept or campaigning. Everything leads in my observation to subjugation of U.S. citizens, to compliance with Muslim beliefs.
Now I stand down as a Canadian, wary of my own situation.
Good luck and act hard and fast as needed. Godspeed.

  23. millions of words written to try an dissuade those of us who know exactly why the people in Orlando were killed, two words, ISLAMIC JIHAD, end of story.
