She was criticized because her government proposed to eliminate all natural gas in home construction in the province of Ontario by the year 2030 for the sake of global climate control, and natural gas is a major export of the province of Alberta. The well-deserved criticism of Wynne has nothing to do with gender and everything to do with stupidity. If Wynne was a male, she would still be stupid. I guess, in a round about way, Wynne is equating femininity with stupidity. Feminists should be outraged …. and not with Fildebrant.
As for Trudeau … in order to suppress further evidence that he is nothing more than a politically-correct, mincing little twit, he should resist sticking his nose in the Vickers’ incident.

I always suspected liberal types were extremely queasy with Vickers decisive action of judge, jury and executioner in emptying a pistol into the cowardly murderer before he could kill even more citizens. Certainly the terrorist was looking forward to shooting fish in a barrel in the House, never dreaming a security guard would come out blazing. At the time critics were silent because so many of those murdered would have been MPs. But given a chance, many would prefer to take this hero down a notch, it is un-Canadian to act decisively with violence. Still his real fault is that he was appointed by Stephen Harper, and I think sooner or later his diplomatic career is over.

I see the need to keep Wildrose focused within Alberta on Alberta only issues. However that said there is definitely room for commentary on negative policies enacted in other provinces that run counter to the Wildrose platform. Wynne’s Ontario won’t approve or disapprove Energy East based on any opinion the Wildrose expresses on how they do business. It’s always about putting enough butter on the bread to make it tasty enough to consume.
