  1. US celebrities are moving to Canada if Trump is elected? How about if we build a wall? It’s OK, we’ll pay for it!
I wonder, though, why they don’t move to Mexico? Let me guess, Mexicans can’t stand them either.

  2. I would suggest that these people move to Venezuela as that country would be much more in tune with their ideology.

  3. How about one of them can come to Canada if they find a replacement Canadian willing to go there.
    I call dibs.

  4. I read on another website that those celebrities would be welcome to go to Canada. It would be revenge for Justin Beiber.

  5. I’ll ride shotgun. If Trump gets elected, I’ll trade my Canadian and a draft pick for American citizenship.
Not a high pick… mid rounder.

  6. Is it some kind of Canadian holiday? Just asking because there are so many boats out on the lake fishing for perch apparently.

  7. The UN is surreptitiously putting in place its Agenda 2030 which will undermine national sovereignty. A UN police force in cities around the globe is very worrisome. Trump will not put up with this.

  8. Locals call all the perch fishing boats out this time of year the “Canadian Navy.”

  9. Survey says Muslims in Canada are becoming more observant, attending Mosque more frequently and more women are wearing head covers. It also found they are voting Liberal and are optimistic about the present government. Hardly a surprise given the attention paid them by thespian Trudeau who visited mosques and has been picture dressed for the occasion for more dramatic effect. We need to hope this is all positive for Canada. We need to hope they will be standing on guard for Canada as Canadian citizens but the Trudeau Charter does not obligate them to do so. The Charter coupled with Multiculturalism is not a recipe for a unified, cohesive society and country.

  10. The Canadian Navy used to be based out of the West Edmonton Mall. That’s where the four submarines were kept.

  11. The Canadian Naval Museum is located on the corner of Crowchild and 17th Ave, SW, in Calgary.
Proof that political decisions by Government committee are to never to be trusted.

  12. That’s also “HMCS Tecumseh”, the naval reserve in Calgary. There has been a Naval Reserve division in the city since 1923. During WW II, a many prairie men served in the navy.

  13. She helped with the demise of what used to be Bell Labs. She nearly killed Hewlett-Packard when she ran it. What sort of VP does one think she’ll be?

  14. Re: Trump tantrumeers emigrating? We need to charge them a large carbon tax for the subsidies Trump didn’t charge them.
Meanwhile back in Pierreland, puff the magic dragon gets schooled by a watermelon on pipelines. We’ve sunk lower than a broken bit in a dry well.
No pipelines? No prosperity. Trudeau: I don’t see the connection, what’s your point?
“The irony is that prior to moving from the opposition benches into the realities of power, Notley and Trudeau contributed significantly to the hysterical anti-pipeline rhetoric in Canada that now makes the job they have to do — getting our natural resources to market — more difficult than it needed to be.”
Regardless of know-nothings who believe in fairy tales like the Leap Manifesto, oil, gas and coal are not going away for the foreseeable future as the major method by which developed and developing countries produce energy.”
But that day is not today, nor is it in the foreseeable future, meaning fossil fuels will be the major method by which we power our world for many decades to come. That means, if Trudeau intends to run his government in the best economic interests of Canadians, he must find ways to build the consensus needed to approve environmentally responsible pipeline construction.”
He cannot simply be, as former prime minister Brian Mulroney rightly noted last week, a referee between pro and anti-pipeline interests. He must be an advocate for pipelines, for Canada’s own good.”
Anybody care to make a bet on that one?

  15. I think Trudeau will not throw any support behind a pipeline deal. He takes his orders from the globalists, and they are increasingly noisy about no carbon. They want the oil to stay in the ground. The trick will be to spin things out — make it look like you are supporting, but never actually get to a positive decision. Trudeau and Obama — two peas in a pod. Trump — if he is elected — will change the agenda, at least for the US. In Canada, we are screwed. I Trump is elected, I also predict no more White House dinners for Junior.

  16. Why does the LPC not just go ahead with pipelines, clearly in the national interest?
    Petro Canada
    Maurice Strong
    Paul Martin
    the IPCC
    CSL
    Power Corp
    Bombardier
    Saudi Arabia
    China
    Barack Obama
    Bob Rae
    Elizabeth May
    Jean Chretien
Global village idiots (aka Linda McQuaig) for one world statism and life in the new bankrupt green economy – nasty, brutish & short.
I may have missed a few of the players. Anyway, let the Chinese have SA oil, we’ll use our own, case closed. You’re right LindaL, ain’t gonna happen on their watch. The best we can hope for is to remove them for their duplicity.

  17. Almost all of those celebs are Leftard greenwashed hypocrites with ‘YUGE carbon footprints’.

  18. ON government: Finally we’ve got it right; this time our “new” green economic transformation plan will work.
Yeah, like a North Korean missile test.
The new way – give money to people you took it from; minus green washed tribute and partying, oops, conferences.
“New Ontario agency will be given sweeping mandate to overhaul energy use.” (BTW, “It” means “You.”)
It would also cut emissions from buildings by 15 per cent by 2030 and ensure most buildings are emissions-free by 2050. This would be done by helping homeowners and businesses install solar panels or geothermal systems and undertake retrofits, and by changing the building code to require renovations and new construction to make buildings more energy-efficient.”
It would buy offsets to make the Ontario government carbon-neutral next year. By 2030, the government will cut its own emissions by 50 per cent.”
Carbon neutral? I’m betting on our boreal forests. Laughable isn’t it.
Then again battery storage is all set to make logarithmic leaps to viability any day now right? Wrong; idiots feeding off our fat.
Now these morons have been set on us federally by the same political masochists who have maintained, by far, by breadth of intense stupidity & tenure, did I say by far, the most incompetent government in Canadian history.
