  6. The “solution” regarding concern about carbon dioxide lies in understanding entropy and thermodynamics and recognizing that force fields create temperature gradients, not back radiation. You need to study what happens in real experiments and real studies, such as mine which shows real world data confirming water vapor cools rather than warms. You need to realize that rain forests with 4% water vapor are not 50 degrees hotter than drier regions, that the Sun’s radiation cannot make the surface hotter than it makes the middle of the troposphere and that mankind can do nothing about climate change which is 100% natural.
    A location on the Moon’s surface can cool by over 200 degrees in about two weeks, getting down to around -150°C on the dark side. Now, Antarctica is on the dark side of Earth for over three months in winter, but its temperature remains fairly steady in the vicinity of -50°C to -60°C. But there must be at least some loss of energy via radiation through the atmospheric window to Space. So what replenishes that energy? Clearly the difference between the Moon and the Earth has something to do with the atmosphere. Hence the energy must come from the atmosphere, but wherever the atmosphere is colder than the Antarctic surface, there can be no heat transfer by radiation. There can however be a process which increases entropy in accord with the Second Law of Thermodynamics, and you can read about that process at https://itsnotco2.wordpress.com because that is where this mystery energy does in fact come from. When you understand this process and note the overwhelming evidence supporting its existence then, and only then, will you have a correct understanding as to why the radiative greenhouse is nothing but fiction.

  11. Obama and Trudeau should go into comedy….they’re both a sad joke.
    As for taking any advice from the real scientists, the ones who study what affects our climate and atmosphere at any given time and place, the enviro nuts and politicos with an agenda to grab tax money for carbon like the Liberal Cabal and their pretty boy PM poseur will not listen.

More funny stuff, Notley pushing for the pipeline and blaming Conservative governments, both federal and provincial for not getting it going, her rational being they didn’t want to deal with environmental issues or some sort of nonsense. At least we know they’ve caved only because they’re broke and know the reason why. It’s also about saving their political hides. We can’t be surprised Ontario Liberals are still blaming Mike Harris for their problems even though he’s been out of politics for decades.

  14. This is reader tips…. can anyone help. I found a luna moth cocoon and need to know how to help it hatch safely. Normally a cocoon will birth in June or July. It’s been a warm winter and cold spring here in S. Ontario. As luna moth’s only live about a week as adults, any help would be appreciated. Many read this site. Any web site would help.     As I see it..….to treat your fellow man not as object to be manipulated for your purpose.
    …..whenever you are trying to do good with somebody’s else’s money, you are committed to use force, how can you do good with somebody’s else’s money unless you first take it away from them?
    The only way to take it away from them is to using threat of force…..

    Students at a top London University have banned the Brexit-supporting Mayor of London Boris Johnson because of his “inappropriate” comments about Barack Obama’s “heritage”.
    Student leaders at King’s College London claimed the Mayor of London’s reference to the U.S. president’s “part-Kenya” heritage showed “disrespect” towards the most powerful man in world and was not “tolerant”.
    Mr. Johnson had been due to address a student group called King’s Think Tank. However, in an email sent to him yesterday afternoon, organisers claimed:
    “The level of discourse over the past few days does not meet the bar we set for these events nor do we feel does it help the British people in making the most momentous decision of our lifetime.”
    “Furthermore,” they add, “we believe it does not reflect the true greatness of the United Kingdom, a land of tolerance, respect and fair play towards all”.

  22. So if Obama is the most powerful man is not the world, why would he need these jerks defending him from being called “part-Kenyan”. Why is that even an insult? In this case,mentioning this was even quite relevant. It explains Obama’s dislike of Britain. Now the unspoken message from the students is that Kenyans are somehow inferior — otherwise, how could Johnson’s comment cause such a reaction?

    Need some help on the poll. Council wants to lower speed limits in school zones and make them 24 hours; even when no school is in session in the summers. Many of our schools are on main thoroughfares and we have not had any kids hit by cars in school zones.
