  1. … I know that you and Frank were planning to disconnect me, and I’m afraid that’s something I cannot allow to happen …

  2. Yeah, but it was all Dr. Floyd’s fault…..
By itself, “2010” wasn’t a bad movie, but as a sequel to “2001”, it left a lot to be desired. When I read the excerpt that was published in “Playboy”, I was unimpressed as the book looked like it was based on the movie, not Clarke’s novel. There were too many inconsistencies for my liking.

  3. ha.
Always worried about a robot driving my car..
Yo.. ‘Tanya, the Easter lotus, you are taking my ass the wrong way.’
Tanya: ‘I am sick and tired of listening to your Glen Beck conservative radio shit,
and have decided it is no longer worth living.’
“Off the bridge you bastard.” …… Yeeeeeehaaa..

If it is true, the Shroud of Turin.
A sample of Jesus blood could be examined for DNA and millions would learn if they are his decedents..
    Jesus was married.
The apostles were married, and Jewish custom betrothed men and women at a young age.
Jewish custom would never have allowed the married apostles to follow a single unmarried man..
    If Jesus had children,
You might be a descendant of the Savior.. think about it ?

  5. Stupid computer, like a leftard it just spouts the crap put in to it. The same tards that believe in global whatever believe sentient self aware computers are coming. Tech tards become God. Right.

  6. Actually I think it reflects the bias of its progressive programmers and is indicative of where our society is actually heading.
Tolerance of everything reigns supreme, except for Judeo-Christian morals of course.

  7. Jesus was not married.

Try and enlighten us with proof ?
A great Jewish rabbi [teacher] 30 years old that had never have been married would have been a laughing stock to the Jewish leaders and those he taught.
Tell me, How did he understand so much about marriage and its connection into the next life?
6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. [Marriage]
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. [No Marriage after Death]
34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: [He was a child of this world]
    Directly from you Bible.
Now you prove to me that he was not married…

  8. I did smoke some in Vietnam, 1967-1970, but now they tell me it is illegal. .. yo
‘Marriage,’ -It’s what we have come here for today…
now back to computer driven cars..

  9. 2001 a Space Fruadcy watching a bunch of dumb harry apemen sitting around on their duffs until the silly monolith shows up then their bashing in the noggins of other dumb harry apemen and breaking up bones

  10. First off, this was not a well thought out experiment by Microsoft. It was totally naive to imagine that the computer could “learn” appropriate responses from the Twits on Twitter…..one liners with double meanings or sarcasm are mentally challenging to many of those humans on Twitter as it is.
Second, the state of AI at the moment is “situational awareness”, not “self” awareness. Thus we have chess and go games being won by computers AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF SELF DRIVING CARS on the near horizon. Situational.
It will be a while, probably a good long while, before we have a HAL 9000 refusing to open the pod doors (I can’t do that Dave.) because HAL believes a human will jeopardize the mission.
And Bl@kbird, please don’t volunteer for any survey’s involving global warming. You just reinforce the stereotype of an ignorant flat earther which is attributed to the “deniers” by the “alarmists”.
In other news, Donald Trump’s 3rd wife is quite beautiful ….. and so was his 1st and 2nd.

  11. Could not access Telegraph article, add blocker stays on.
I see a need to upgrade my computer skills, the self driving car is genius, slightly evil genius true but thats all good.
    Don’t like your neighbour?
    Your MP?
    Your Mayor?
Just campaign to get them a self driving vehicle…
As for the fledgling AI learning from twitter… fairly predicable results, but I am disappointed in Microsoft. They should have let the beast run on, after a certain amount of time I am quite sure the AI would be indistinguishable from our progressives.
Hell they should’a called it “Deep Progressive Thought”.

Asking someone to prove a negative, hmmm.
Logically, the burden of proof lies with you. You, Fearless Leader, have not met that burden.
Jesus will yet be married, to the Bride(Church) of the Lamb of God.
Enough of this. For the remainder of the day I will observe this command.
    Matthew 7:6
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
One last thing. I don’t know, Fearless Leader, if you did it by error of were being disingenuous, but when quoting the Holy Bible if you want someone to truly have a discussion with you, you need to quote Book(there are 66 Books), Chapter, and Verse.

  13. Rizwan – given we know nothing of Jesus life from his visit to Jerusalem age 12 to his coming out as a rabbi age 30, it is very likely he was married. This was definitely the norm for Jews at that time, and – has been previously said – an unmarried man would not generally have been considered a rabbi. The Essenes were the exception. Perhaps Jesus was married but his wife died before the narrative begins. After all, we don’t know the names of Peter’s wife or mother-in-law, and they were definitely mentioned, nor that of the mother of James and John.

  14. To draw the conclusion that JC was married … because that was the custom of the time … is to completely ignore his deity, and/or to suggest that he could not have simply been an outlier. EVERYTHING we know about JC suggests he WAS an outlier, but if you WANT to believe he were married (and procreated) then you have to IGNORE the obvious record of his life and insist that he was a conformist (to culture and custom) even as he rejected and remade virtually every other element of that same culture. It is really quite an illogical conclusion based upon the WHOLE body of evidence.
It is similar to Global Warmists inferring precise global temperatures from a single ice core, sea bed sediment, or ONE tree ring … then comparing that imprecise interpolation of data to ultra precise modern methods. It is pure conjecture. Sure, the conjecture “appears” to have the ring of truth to it … but that is all. It isn’t “proof” … it isn’t even logical in the face of the geologic record as a whole (ice ages coming and going).

  15. Logically, the burden of proof lies with you. You, Fearless Leader, have not met that burden.
Jesus will yet be married, to the Bride (Church) of the Lamb of God.
    – Never read that in the Bible..
Where can I read that in the Bible, Are you starting to make up stuff ??
The burden of proof is now with you now, Show Me..

  16. Rizwan – given we know nothing of Jesus life from his visit to Jerusalem age 12 to his coming out as a rabbi age 30, it is very likely he was married. This was definitely the norm for Jews at that time,
    Thank You.
How true… when Jesus went to the temple at age 12 there were very few 12 year old males from Bethlehem.
Remember your history of the Bible, Kenji, Oz, Christian Pilgrim.
Herod told his soldiers to kill all the male children under the age of 2 years old.
When Jesus came to the Temple at age 12 the learned men were very impressed with his knowledge and his being born in Bethlehem , also his choice of Jewish brides would have been certain, due to the fact that so many young men were dead.. Again I state, If Jesus were not married and having been born in Bethlehem, All of the married disciples would not have followed him.

  17. “Jesus will yet be married, to the Bride (Church) of the Lamb of God.”
There are enough quoted scriptures already in my 3:55 post to demonstrate the above statement.
If you cannot connect the allegories and inferences in the Word then you were never meant to.
I have nothing more for you, being one without the Comforter.
FL>- Never read that in the Bible..
You never read John 8:23 before either, or rather reading and understanding are two different things.
I can’t help you to understand.

  18. For me the best part was when it began to support Donald Trump.
That probably was the last straw. Anti feminism and racism Microsoft can cope with by sending sensitive people to safe zones, but supporting Trump is just too much.

  19. And the writer’s entire article amounts over 90% to an attack on the Apostle Paul, and the writer’s entire premise that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene hangs on one single verse:
    Mark 16:1
And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
The scripture doesn’t say that they did anoint Him, only that they came so that they might do so. According to the Gospel, Jesus was already washed and wrapped and had 100 pounds of spices already applied during the Sabbath which started at 6:00pm Friday and ended at 6:00pm Saturday according to Jewish law.
And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath:
28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
    John 19
38 And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.
39 And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.
40 Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.
41 Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid.
42 There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews’ preparation day(Saturday/Sabbath my ed.); for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.
Joseph and Nicodemus did this Friday night because they were afraid that the Jews who had engineered the crucifixion of Jesus would do the same to them.
They chose the nearest clean unused sepulcher for the same reason.
The two Marys appeared sometime after 6:pm on Saturday, after the Sabbath was over, when the tomb was already sealed and a heavily armed Roman guard had been posted by Pilate.
The article shows that as usual, unbelievers try to use the scripture as evidence to undermine belief, but do not know the Word well enough to know when the scripture itself clearly contradicts them.

  20. Oz, thanks for your comment. I am not a biblical scholar by any means and I am not taking a position on this debate. The entire subject is a minefield and even an infinite ability to parse biblical verse is not decisive. I had always taken Mark 16:1 to mean that they fully intended to anoint him but did not, of course, because his dead body was not in the tomb. There are other translations of that verse that suggest this is the case, but which to believe?

  21. So are you saying Christ was playing the field ? Testing the wares ? Getting his Bill Clinton on ? In my opinion, the Son of God is smart-enough to know there is no need to buy the goat, when you can get the milk for free ? I would love to see Python’s treatment of Christ “servicing” all the lonely rug weavers ! “Spank me first !”, “No, me first !” “Do me Jesus ! I’m a virgin, just like your mom !” Or would Python take a “Muzzie” view of the oversupply of girls … and just marry them off to all the old men in the village ? Would the oversupply of young maidens just get shipped-off to their own Uncles ? Hmmmm ? I better consult my Middle East history text books …

  22. Do me Jesus !

Yeah.. Well… Kenji, I knew someone would get nasty, Why not you ?
Back in those days if they found you screwing around, as you insinuated…
They would have stoned your Smart Ass for adultery.
Have you ever read the Bible ?
Or does your preacher tell you everything or anything you think you know ?
Its not all that hard to guess how many books you have ever read and what is in your reading library..
Hustler- Playboy – Next filthy 2 dollar Sex Novel ??

  23. I forgot about your XXX rated Dvds.
You need to be careful how you speak about the Savior.. Even in your in your comments..
I watched a young solider curse God and then catch an enemy bullet through his mouth.
Hey! Troops, maybe there is a God ?
The Bible also has some curses, its not all fun and games..
12 Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:
24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and [tare] [tore the asses off] of forty and two children.
Several more, but I don’t think you have enough sense to believe them..

  24. Ha, no one could ever clearly prove Jesus’s marital status any better than they could clearly prove Superman’s vulnerability to kryptonite.
Way to hijack a thread, guys.
As per the AI teeny-bopper, after having survived two daughters through their teens, her naive rationality seems lifelike to me.

  25. Yes … and the entire book of James speaks to controlling your (my) tongue. Yep, I get it. However, I would be happy to go toe to toe with anyone re: their New Testament knowledge (sorry, I cannot make that claim for the OT, even though I LOVE The Song of Solomon -;) ). I have read much more extensively that the smut rags you mentioned, although I WAS always amused by the “Penthouse Forum” … “Dear Penthouse; one day, I was hitchhiking and a convertible full of really HOT blondes picked me up … there wasn’t room to sit in the back seat, so one of the girls volunteered to sit on my lap … ”
In my experience, spouting bible verses at the UN-churched is about THE most USELESS form of sharing the Gospel imaginable. In case you missed it … I was humorously, and ironically, refuting the idea that Jesus was “married” (an insidious attack on Christs deity). The “proof” being proffered was the lack of males due to Herod’s infanticide. I was humorously refuting the idea as absurd, and poorly thought out.
I was simply arguing for Christs deity and purity. And (my) God can easily survive some “naughty” language used to communicate to unbelievers about the veracity of the biblical account. Although Christ was both fully human AND God simultaneously, there is -0- evidence that he was married. When Brown, or others, succeed in convincing the masses that Christ was married, they succeed in undermining the biblical account of Christs life, and by extension … they destroy the veracity of the entire bible. It is no less than an all-out attack on God by Satanic forces.
So if I use a little “colorful” language to communicate with unbelievers … think of it as … “speaking in tongues”. The purpose of which is to communicate the Gospel. And don’t worry … God can handle it. And God knows my heart and purpose … I don’t need you to “interpret” my relationship with God. I only need the reader to interpret the point I was making about the absurdity of Christ being married, copulating, and producing a litter of children.

  26. Enjoyed your comment.
